[ The girl hesitates for a bit before she holds his hand while her hair glows white and her eyes glow into white and blue. ]

[ The glowing girl returned after Valentine's trial. ]

(I got inspired by @opossum-on-the-stage 's prompt, so I'm making a non-KG interview for Mayari. This could take place right after Allie's, btw)
🌼 - W-wait! Miss Jouphiet!
*Allie runs off without looking back with a flushed face. The interviewer sighed in defeat for being unable to get her last answer before ending the interview but immediately perked up upon meeting another person, who was on her way to the academy. The interviewer decided to walk up to the girl and start a new interview.*
🌼 - Excuse me!
??? - Yes?
*The girl turned around, and the interviewer had a pretty good look at the girl's appearance. Brown haired in a jellyfish haircut and brown eyes, has glasses with rose gold chains, wearing a black and blue tank top and arm sleeves with a certain pattern.*
??? - Is there something you need? I need to head to class at the academy.
*The interviewer snapped out of their thoughts, realizing they had been staring at her for a while.*
🌼 - O-oh! Sorry! Are you a student of Eden's Garden Academy?
??? - Yes, why?
🌼 - Then, you must also be an Ultimate, yes??
*The interviewer excitedly moved closer to the girl, flustering her. They could've sworn they saw a white and blue glow in her eyes and hair for a split second, it must've been the sunlight hitting their eyes.*
??? - H-huh??? Yes, that's right...
🌼 - Then, can I interview you? I promise it'll be quick since you have classes to attend!
??? - Alright, I don't mind. Though, I can't promise I'd bring interesting answers....
🌼 - That's okay, you can answer them however you like!
*The interviewer cleared their throat.*
🌼 - *Ahem* Alright, let's start! First question: What is your name?

🌙🪼 - Ah..... I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I can answer this.

🌙🪼 - You've heard of some students who have been receiving their titles that are not known to the public eye, right?
🌼 - Yes, I also heard that one of the reasons that it's been like this because their talents are extremely dangerous, both in name and context.
🌙🪼 - Exactly, and let's just say....... I'm one of those people. If I were to say my talent, it wouldn't be appropriate for an interview, wouldn't it?
🌼 - I guess so..... Alright, we'll skip the question! Time is of essence, after all! What's it like being a student of this academy and what are you learning?
🌙🪼 - Well, there's never a dull moment here, I can tell you that. As for what I'm learning....... a bit of everything, I guess?
🌼 - Could you clarify that part?
🌙🪼 - I'm basically someone who'd help out anyone with any kind of Ultimate talent by letting them test onto me in order for them to have satisfactory results, that's what I mean by "learning a bit of everything".
🌼 - That must be physically and mentally tiring if that's the case.
🌙🪼 - Yeah, but it's ok. I'm used to it.
🌼 - Ok..... Any classmates in particular you've taken a bit of liking to?
🌙🪼 - Romantically or platonically?
🌼 - Both!
🌙🪼 - Ok, well.....There's Elsiya, the Ultimate Priestess and Shahin Nareeman, the Ultimate Falconer. They're my best friends. There's also Cecile Thuy, the Ultimate Promoter. I see her as my older sister figure. I think of Luciano Tubig, the Ultimate Deckhand, as a distant cousin figure, since we both came from the Philippines. They are the people I get along the most. As for the romantically part.......well, there is one.

*Mayari's face became slightly red, and the glow coming from her hair and eyes from earlier reappeared. But this time, it was slightly more evident. Her eyes averted to the side as she took a deep breath before explaining.*
🌙🪼 - I..... have a certain interest in Damon Maitsu, the Ultimate Debator. I can't exactly pinpoint this as a "crush" yet because I doubt he acknowledges the fact that I exist, I see him as a person who's in the league higher than I could ever reach, and I don't even understand why do I have these sort of feelings in the first place or if this is just mistaken for "admiration".
*She takes another deep breath and fan herself a bit to calm down, causing the glow to dim.*
🌙🪼 - And even if I were to consult this to Toshiko, the Ultimate Matchmaker, or any of the people I mentioned before, I doubt that'd end in the good note.....
*The bell from the academy rings out, signaling the two that Mayari's late for class."

🌼 - O-oh! Yes, it was! You can run off now, thank you for your cooperation.
🌙🪼 - Right, thank you for the interview. That actually cleared my worries for a bit, bye then!
*Mayari waved her hand to the interviewer before sprinting off to the academy. She knew that she might be reprimanded for being late, but she didn't care at the moment and smiled to herself. Because it was as she said to the interviewer, talking about her life at the academy cleared a fragment of her worries.*

Reader Comforting Damon After a Bad Day
When Damon storms into your home, his shoulders are stiff, dark circles adorn his eyes, and his breath is tense.
You call his name, concern fills your voice as you stand up from where you’d been sitting.
This couldn’t be the same as his usual grumpy demeanor, especially not with the hour being so late for him to arrive.
He snaps that nothing’s wrong, he’s fine as he quickly walks past you.
You roll your eyes as he obviously is not fine. Damon’s never been one for talking about his problems, and you couldn’t just let him sulk alone for hours.
So you call his name again, this time reaching for his hand.
He flinches in surprise and initially jerks his hand back, but doesn’t lose your grasp.
"Damon…I can’t let you carry this burden alone. Please, let me help you." You say, still gently holding his hand in yours.
He immediately opens his mouth to pose a counterargument, but all he lets out is a soft sigh, seemingly realizing your genuineness to help him.
"Why do you even bother?" he asks, his voice not particularly harsh as before.
"You’re important to me, Damon. I care about you…” you assure him.
“Of course I know that you care…” He hates to feel so vulnerable, but after dwelling in that thought, he curls his fingers around your hand still grasping his.
"...I’ll never understand you." he mutters. Though perhaps that'll be challenge he’ll be up for.

damon maitsu’s ultimate talent is debating, not dating. which is why despite being the self proclaimed smart guy, he’s struggling (almost terribly). not to a point where it’s annoying or a hassle in any way though, thankfully it’s stupidly endearing.
after every choice, he thinks back to his parents. oh how sweet and kind his parents are to give him advice on how to not mess up a date.
‘make sure to be a gentleman compliment them!’ his mother says. then, his dad perks up. ‘yeah, hit ‘em with a good pickup line or two!’ he exclaimed cheerfully. right at the doorframe his mother adjusts his suit while his dad watches with a smile. her hands run along the soft fabric, a material both she and her husband are familiar with as they made this very suit he’s wearing tonight. ‘don’t forget what we’ve told you, alright?’ his mother says.
he absolutely did not forget.
“ah, hello? earth to damon?” you call out, waving your hand in front of him. he quickly blinks, seeming restless.
“huh? oh, yeah?” he perks, you quirk your brows. you look at him confused, though you’re actually more worried.
“you were definitely spacing out, are you okay? is this date… boring?” you asked nervously. you don’t want to hear him agree.
“no! not at all. i- uh-” his eyes wonder around, from you to the table then everything else. he’s looking for something, anything that can… oh he’s got just the thing. “a-are you a rose? cause you’re as beautiful as ever” he lets out an awkward laugh. he noticed the jar of roses sitting in the middle of the table, and decided to use his dad’s advice now.
‘don’t forget to hit ‘em with a good pickup line or two!’
suddenly you laugh. bright and stunning — you laughed at his stupid joke. his heart was struck.
“hahah! damon, where’d that come from? that’s… sweet. thank you” you smile at him, and reach out to hold his hand. “i didn’t know you were one for pickup lines… hm. i like your outfit, i think it really suits you” you giggle, and so does he. oh how your heart feels warm too. “actually that counts more as a pun, huh?”
he shakes his head. “no, it’s okay. it has the same effect. but thank you, my parents made it for me”
you gave a surprised expression. “really? wow! they must be very talented. no wonder their son is too”
damon blushes again. “yeah they’re… they’re pretty good. thank you for acknowledging my talent, even if it’s boring sometimes”
“no way!” you protest. “you’re anything but boring. c’mon, how about you tell me a little more about how you got into debate and all, let me hear all about you, maitsu”
god damon was gonna be a flustered mess by the end of this dinner date. the one thing his parents didn’t tell him to do was keep his composure. so… maybe it’s okay if he loses it a little, right?
“okay. well, it all started when i was in elementary…”
