(The two met up after classes, keeping up the conversation from earlier.)

🌙🪼 - It was no problem at all! I'm just sorry that I left out some answers ambiguous..... it doesn't seem professional of me to do so, does it? By the way, I know I told you my name, but you haven't introduced yourself back then.

(I got inspired by @opossum-on-the-stage 's prompt, so I'm making a non-KG interview for Mayari. This could take place right after Allie's, btw)

🌼 - W-wait! Miss Jouphiet!

*Allie runs off without looking back with a flushed face. The interviewer sighed in defeat for being unable to get her last answer before ending the interview but immediately perked up upon meeting another person, who was on her way to the academy. The interviewer decided to walk up to the girl and start a new interview.*

🌼 - Excuse me!

??? - Yes?

*The girl turned around, and the interviewer had a pretty good look at the girl's appearance. Brown haired in a jellyfish haircut and brown eyes, has glasses with rose gold chains, wearing a black and blue tank top and arm sleeves with a certain pattern.*

??? - Is there something you need? I need to head to class at the academy.

*The interviewer snapped out of their thoughts, realizing they had been staring at her for a while.*

🌼 - O-oh! Sorry! Are you a student of Eden's Garden Academy?

??? - Yes, why?

🌼 - Then, you must also be an Ultimate, yes??

*The interviewer excitedly moved closer to the girl, flustering her. They could've sworn they saw a white and blue glow in her eyes and hair for a split second, it must've been the sunlight hitting their eyes.*

??? - H-huh??? Yes, that's right...

🌼 - Then, can I interview you? I promise it'll be quick since you have classes to attend!

??? - Alright, I don't mind. Though, I can't promise I'd bring interesting answers....

🌼 - That's okay, you can answer them however you like!

*The interviewer cleared their throat.*

🌼 - *Ahem* Alright, let's start! First question: What is your name?

🌙🪼 - Mayari Sadélle

🌼 - That's a beautiful name!

🌙🪼 - Oh, thank you.

🌼 - Ok, next question! What is your Ultimate talent?

🌙🪼 - Ah..... I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I can answer this.

🌼 - Oh? Why is that?

🌙🪼 - You've heard of some students who have been receiving their titles that are not known to the public eye, right?

🌼 - Yes, I also heard that one of the reasons that it's been like this because their talents are extremely dangerous, both in name and context.

🌙🪼 - Exactly, and let's just say....... I'm one of those people. If I were to say my talent, it wouldn't be appropriate for an interview, wouldn't it?

🌼 - I guess so..... Alright, we'll skip the question! Time is of essence, after all! What's it like being a student of this academy and what are you learning?

🌙🪼 - Well, there's never a dull moment here, I can tell you that. As for what I'm learning....... a bit of everything, I guess?

🌼 - Could you clarify that part?

🌙🪼 - I'm basically someone who'd help out anyone with any kind of Ultimate talent by letting them test onto me in order for them to have satisfactory results, that's what I mean by "learning a bit of everything".

🌼 - That must be physically and mentally tiring if that's the case.

🌙🪼 - Yeah, but it's ok. I'm used to it.

🌼 - Ok..... Any classmates in particular you've taken a bit of liking to?

🌙🪼 - Romantically or platonically?

🌼 - Both!

🌙🪼 - Ok, well.....There's Elsiya, the Ultimate Priestess and Shahin Nareeman, the Ultimate Falconer. They're my best friends. There's also Cecile Thuy, the Ultimate Promoter. I see her as my older sister figure. I think of Luciano Tubig, the Ultimate Deckhand, as a distant cousin figure, since we both came from the Philippines. They are the people I get along the most. As for the romantically part.......well, there is one.

🌼 - Ohhhh~? Pray tell, pray tell! I'll cut this part out from the interview if this is too embarrassing for you to explain. Treat this as a question from a friend.

🌙🪼 - A-alright, I'll keep your word on that....

*Mayari's face became slightly red, and the glow coming from her hair and eyes from earlier reappeared. But this time, it was slightly more evident. Her eyes averted to the side as she took a deep breath before explaining.*

🌙🪼 - I..... have a certain interest in Damon Maitsu, the Ultimate Debator. I can't exactly pinpoint this as a "crush" yet because I doubt he acknowledges the fact that I exist, I see him as a person who's in the league higher than I could ever reach, and I don't even understand why do I have these sort of feelings in the first place or if this is just mistaken for "admiration".

*She takes another deep breath and fan herself a bit to calm down, causing the glow to dim.*

🌙🪼 - And even if I were to consult this to Toshiko, the Ultimate Matchmaker, or any of the people I mentioned before, I doubt that'd end in the good note.....

*The bell from the academy rings out, signaling the two that Mayari's late for class."

🌙🪼 - Ah! The bell! Was that the last question?

🌼 - O-oh! Yes, it was! You can run off now, thank you for your cooperation.

🌙🪼 - Right, thank you for the interview. That actually cleared my worries for a bit, bye then!

*Mayari waved her hand to the interviewer before sprinting off to the academy. She knew that she might be reprimanded for being late, but she didn't care at the moment and smiled to herself. Because it was as she said to the interviewer, talking about her life at the academy cleared a fragment of her worries.*

[ Mayari goes closer to one of the other doors, and one of them read as 'Psi'. Her hair and eyes start to glow in white and blue with joy after realizing it ]

"Wait....... I think you're right, Luciano! Because this one says 'Psi'....."

[ She goes around the doors in order ]

" That one is 'Chi', next is 'Phi', and the last one's Upsilon!"

"Hello? Luciano? It's Mayari.... Oh! And Hazel's with me!"

[ Worry still lingers in Mayari's eyes as she could see the lies beneath Hazel's words, but she doesn't press it any further. Not wanting to risk an argument with someone she just acquainted with, she sighed ]

".......Ok, I believe you.

I won't press it any further for now."

[ She walked past the assistant, turned back, and extended her hand ]

"I'm planning to explore around the academy and check on everyone here. Do you want to come along? It's alright if you don't want to....."

"Umm...hi, Hazel, it's Mayari. Are you okay?"

[ Hazel looked up at Mayari, nodding. ]

“ … A… ah, yes, Ms. Sadelle. I’m doing well for the time being… though, the previous few events have been… staggering, to say the least. I sincerely apologize for not being more helpful during the class trial, I’m… not very experienced when it comes to… events like this.

…That doesn’t matter. How are you doing, Ms. Sadelle? Do you have anything else you wish to talk to me about? “

[ She tilted her head to the side, waiting. ]

"I see...."

[ Mayari ponders over this. ]

"The other 15 Ultimate students and I got knocked out by some gas when we took the train to enroll at the academy, so I wondered if that happened to the other Ultimates I haven't met before...."

"Umm....hello?"

[ The girl in a jellyfish haircut in blue attire comes up to you. ]

She says…nothing else. Holding the same neutrally upset expression.

Highlights of the “In-Character” portion of the Project Eden’s Garden AMONG US stream in no particular order:

Damon introducing himself as “the Ultimate Debater. A prodigy among prodigies. Someone who simply can’t be outmatched.” And everyone going dead silent before making fun of his egotistical ass

Eva hiding in the corner of the waiting room

Diana going to the corner of the waiting room with Eva to keep her company

Kai being the reason the stream started late because he couldn’t decide the perfect look for his Among Us character

All their little characters matching them so well; Wolfgang in a little suit, Grace with bunny ears, Wenona with bear ears, Tozu’s goat horns, etc, and Eva just having absolutely nothing on

Wolfgang and Jean not knowing how to play video games and just doing their best

How utterly excited Tozu is that everyone is playing a killing game and he gets to play too

Damon yelling OH GOD DAMMIT so bad the mic reverberated after Wolfgang killed him

Wolfgang being imposter, killing everyone, and going “that was fun! 🙂”, followed by Jean going “I didn’t know you had it in you!” and Wolfgang replying with “I didn’t know I had it in me either 🙂”

Ulysses mention that apparently in-world he was supposed to attend but overslept (possible explanation that is why Wenona attended)

Wolfgang doesn’t know what tiktok is

Kai and Damon sticking together and doing tasks and everyone going “yeah okay”

^^^ My personal favourite is Cassidy telling everyone to come look at them doing tasks together on the cameras and Jean going “oh so those two were off canoodling somewhere”

Cassidy being the kind of Among Us player who bets everything on “you’ll be sorry” or “do it then” and expects it to work and is shocked every time when it doesn’t

Tozu dying early on in every game

Damon catching an imposter in a lie by saying he couldn’t have been the killer, because he was with “Kai, his very good friend”

Jean saying “a princess has to look her best” when Cassidy makes fun of Kai taking too much time in customization menu and then adding “welcome back princess” when Kai finished

Wolfgang hitting Damon with “it’s just a game” when Damon was locked the fuck in on busting Wolfgang as imposter

Diana going for Tozu first as imposter and still being an absolutely terrible liar

Cassidy correct guessing Damon as the imposter begging him loudly not to kill her in voice proximity, so he actually can’t kill her anymore, so instead he scoffs and goes “wish” before trotting off

Damon being revealed as imposter last minute and Eva yelling about how she trusted him. Kai also being there.

Grace and Wenona very clearly not knowing how the game works but refusing to admit it

Cassidy calling Wolfgang Grace’s boytoy

[ Mayari also eagerly looks at Tian for his possible theory of this situation. ]

"Tian, are you there? It's me, Mayari! We need help!"

[ Mayari rushes over while carrying something small in her hands, her hair glowing in white with blue and her eyes blue filled with worry. ]

Mayari? What is it?!

[ Mayari puts her finger onto her chin as she ponders about this offer. ]

"Hmmm.....maybe if I'm really at my limit, I'll think about it."

[ Remembering from their last conversation, she adds ]

"Besides, I think I'm starting to get used to talking to people about some things about it. Not really much everything, everything, just like you said before."

"You alright?"

“Hah! Why wouldn’t I be? I’m just a bit angry but that’s really it.”
