Hi! Can I request some headcanons of reader giving comfort (or at least tried) to Damon Maitsu from P:EG after the events of the 1st Chapter?

I need to chill with the requests they're not going anywhere 💀

Damon Maitsu:

If you thought he was closed off before, you haven't seen the lengths he can go to

I think he would feel the strong urge to isolate himself but given his situation, he knows it's not the smartest so a lot of his actions are going to be conflicting

It's going to take him about for him to actually accept being comforted

It's only going to take him a bit because he hasn't processed yet and he has no clue what he wants

Literally no attempts you make will snap him out of it till he processes the situation fully

He'll literally just stare at you dully after every attempt till he gets his shit together

He'll actually get upset because he feels like he should be the one comforting you instead

He'll be a lot more talkative after just for your sake. He wants to make sure you're okay after so many failed attempts at trying to comfort him

I did say he doesn't initiate physical touch most of the time but this would be the exception

He would constantly have an arm around you or a hand on you

Mostly for his sake tbh. It's almost as if he wants to make sure that you're still with him

He'll also stick to you like white on rice. It's a strange sight to see but until the two of you are alright, that's how it's going to be

I don't think he'll want to talk about it much just because he knows that it'll eventually happen again and it'll just get worse (he's stubborn). Plus, if he thinks that talking about it will make YOU upset, there's no way in the world it's happening

He's just trying to figure everything out, and so are you. It's going to be strange but if that's what the two of you need to get through that, then so be it

"Whew, that was a heck of a party. Good thing that it wasn't that chaotic in a bad way......Hm?" As Mayari walked into the room after the p

"Well, that event was something.... hm? Another note?"

When Mayari walked into her dorm room to change her attire, she found another gift and note. From the closer inspection, the handwriting seems to be similar to the one she received the night she came back from the Valentine's Day party. And once again, there was no name of the sender.

"Hmm.... this certainly isn't Cherri's handwriting, unlike the one when she gave me the dress earlier.... Let's see what my secret gifter has to say this time....."

She muttred under her breath as she opened her letter, and it read:

"Mayari, I see that you're taking care of my gift from Valentine's Day well. Hope you don't mind having one for White Day. I saw you eyeing on this while we were all on an outing and getting shy about buying it, so I did it without you looking. I hate to admit, it was pricey..... but since I started this whole charade with you, I guess it's worth it as long as you like it. Speaking of, I've been seeing you being more open to others and starting to accept that you deserve to have good things in life. That doesn't mean that I'd stop gifting you secretly though, since you still haven't figured out who I am. Just thought I'd have to remind you in case you forgot. One more thing to tell you, I didn't say this in front of you before, but during the party at Valentine's Day..........you looked beautiful back then and that hasn't changed even after that, and even now."

As she finished reading the last sentence of the letter, her hair was already glowing in white, her eyes in white and blue separately, and her face completely flushed red. Folding back her letter and placed it onto her table next to the vase with the Lunar Tear in it, Mayari fanned her flushed face while trying to steady her hearbeat as her thoughts run frantically in her mind.

This has to be an ongoing prank! There's no way that there's someone who's thinking of me this way and started this whole thing with the secret gifts and letters, unless..... Do I have a stalker in this academy? Is it someone from the research facility who's trying to observe my actions or to take me back? Is it someone from the academy who wants to mess with me? Or is it.....do I actually have someone who genuinely feels this way and I'm just blind to see it yet?

After taking a couple of deep breaths, the glow in her hair and eyes began to dim down. Finally calm from the chaotic thoughts, she realized she hasn't opened the gifted box to confirm her suspicions. So Mayari untied the ribbon and opened the box......

......and found a silver hair ornament, resembling a flower with unique patterns. She got put off by this, not because of how beautiful it is up close, but because this is the very item that she eyed on but turned away from buying during one of the outings with her classmates, just as the letter told her.

Although her suspicions have been partially confirmed, Mayari feels like she need to investigate this......"predicament" even further. Which reminds her.....a certain event involving a musical is coming up soon, maybe she might put this new gift to use in that event. But until then, she needs to find clues around the academy about her secret gifter. She laid down on her bed, placed her hand onto her forehead, and sighed helplessly slight frustration.

"*sigh*......... I might have to need some help, I hope they're patient with this...."

[ Mayari sits down on the chair as Ozzie prepares a glass of milk for her. She smiled back at him when he handed it to her ]

"Thank you, Ozzie!"

[ She took a sip of the milk ]

"Got wifi here...but we can only contact each other on this "tumblr" thing, eh? Weird, but it's fine, I guess."

"Anyone else see this?"

[ Mayari walks back to Luciano and Hazel, her hair and eyes dimmed back to brown. ]

"But....is there even a reason why are the gates named that way?"

"Hello? Luciano? It's Mayari.... Oh! And Hazel's with me!"

[ The girl looked over to the side. ]

[ The glowing girl returned after Valentine's trial. ]

"Is there anything I could do to help with the ritual?"

…That doesn’t matter. How are you doing, Ms. Sadelle? Do you have anything else you wish to talk to me about? “
