Blue Diamond Theory

Stop me if y'all’ve heard this before, but I just brought together a Steven Universe theory. 

So there’s a theory going around that White Diamond has the power to alter memories, right? This is supported largely by Centipeetle’s drawings where her memories are ‘whited out.’ 

She also draws her and her crew with green hair in all pics before the Whiteout. That could just be for the sake of ease, but you never know.

It’s also generally accepted that the attempt to remember is what worsens the corruption.

Now this’ll seem like a tangent, but it’ll all come together by the end.

We are all pretty familiar with this image by now:

Now I’d like to juxtapose the above with the following, focusing mostly on the hair.

You could try to say that the dark blue hair in the mural is just her cowl, but take a closer look at the gif. Even if that is the case, something is off.

While we can’t very clearly see her hair color in the above gif (though given that it’s the exact same shade as the rest of the cowl when there’s enough light to shine on both her lips and her diamond makes me inclined to believe that it is a shade of blue, rather than white), we can see that it does not go across her chest as it does in the modern day:

Now, some people who have pointed out the hair change just chalk it up to the crewniverse having been unsure of her design. While that’s not impossible, it does seem super unlikely lmao.

What seems more likely to me personally, and this is where I’m gonna tie it all back together, is that Blue changes because of White Diamond (or her currently unknown agents) directly.

See, we know a couple things. One, that Blue believes that Pink was shattered by Rose via a Sword:

(Can’t find a subbed gif, but there’s her whole “It was a SWORD” thing during the trial.)

Two, that Rose’s sword can never shatter any gem, much less a Diamond:

So here we have:

* Centipeetle having a tampered-with memory *Centipeetle having white hair (but drawing herself and her crew with green hair before the white diamond memory tampering) *Centipeetle having named the diamond authority as the people who tampered with said memory *Centipeetle being corrupted as a result.

*Blue having blue, or at least, noticeably different hair before Pink’s shattering *Blue having misinformation (or faulty memory) regarding Pink’s shattering *Blue now having white hair.

Soooo tldr: White Diamond fucked with Blue’s memory just like she did with the Centipeetle crew’s. This left all of them with white hair.

And just for shits and giggles, let’s have a bonus round.

Guess who else has solidly white (and not tinted, as with Holly Blue, Opal, Malechite, Jasper pre-corruption, etc) hair?

Bonus bonus round:

If White Diamond tampering with memories gives gems white hair, and if that is also tied to gem corruption, and if touching on the forgotten and/or altered memories quickens that corruption, it would add an entire other dimension to Yellow Diamond wanting to get the trial over with as quickly as possible. (Also, why she wants to keep Blue away from all of Pink’s stuff, beyond that just being her style of grieving)

If White Diamond altered Blue’s memories, as I suspect she did, then Yellow (who hasn’t changed, as far as I can tell) would want to prevent any corruption of Blue that might come as a result.

Yeah I found Season 1 was a tie with Ongina and Nina, they're both very sweet girls and got along with everyone.

I could've sworn that Jessica won miss congeniality! I was so sure cause I do remember her winning, that's either my memory being terrible or it's... THE MANDELA EFFECT!! nah probably just my memory.

For Latrice, she 100% deserved miss congeniality.

Joslyn is super adorable and it's so cute how she idolizes Courtney! I hope she's on allstars 3!! (Which if I'm not mistaken will be in 2019?)

Max too deserved miss congeniality, but I know Katya was probably chosen mostly as a fan favourite (which she is) there are still aspects of her being congenial cause she never argued with the other queens and she's just straight up crazy and funny. Mother I've become miss congeniality again~~~

YES YES YES ITS SO PEPZ!!!! I haven't watched untucked Because for some odd reason it's not available in Canada!! But Valentina seemed to be in her own world sometimes, not sure if I'm the only one who agrees. (Probably Aja)

RPDR's Miss Congeniality

Since there has been quite a controversy about Valentina’s win of the Miss Congeniality tittle I decided to make a list of the girls I thought should’ve won the tittle each season and my reasons: Season 1) Ongina, because she was nice to everyone and all the girls seemed to like her and she seems like a really genuine girl.

Season 2) Jessica, because she was really nice, she was always smiling and was nice to Tyra (and that is a really important reason if you know what I mean). She really never had a problem with anyone and always helped the other girls.

Season 3) Yara, she was really nice and she always seemed to have a great time. She liked everyone and everyone seemed to like her back. She was there for her friends and for other girls too.

Season 4) This is a hard one, but Latrice, in a season full of hatred and negativity she was out of most of the drama. She was fun to be around based on the commentary of the girls. She was nice and professional and almost a mother figure to the girls.

Season 5) Ivy, she represents everything that the tittle stands for. She was genuine, nice, friendly, bubbly, likeable, etc. Ivy was a great friend to Jinkx (who was not very liked by the other contestants), was not confrontational and seemed to get along with all the girls.

Season 6) Joslyn, because she was a mess but she was a sweetheart. She was nice and bubbly at every moment. She never tried to throw anyone under the bus (is that how the goes?) And was nice to everyone. Well liked by all the girls. I think that even Bianca liked her or at least didn’t have anything bad to say about her.

Season 7) Max, yes Max, because she was nice, she even tried to find nice ways to describe Violet. She was sweet to most of the girls (since there were a few who were mean), she was nice and encouraging to Pearl and Jaidynn, and always tried to be cordial.

Season 8) Cynthia, just watch her on both of her seasons and try to denied that she was the deserving Miss Congeniality. I dare you.

Season 9) Cynthia or Peppermint. Cynthia because she is just naturally and genuinely nice and congenial, and Peppermint because she was the nicest.
