y'know, one thing i don't see get talked about much in regards to asexuality is how it feels to never be 'sexually motivated' by anything

and not just when it comes to advertisements using 'sexy' models to try and sell you stuff, but like. in general

sex as a favor, sex as a bribe, sex in exchange for whatever

casual sex, 'friends with benefits' situations, even simple flirting

it all looks a whole lot different from the perspective of someone who's immune to manipulation via sex appeal, who has virtually no understanding as to why sex would motivate someone to cheat on their partner, etc. etc.

sex is worthless to me

i mean, it's useful as a story element in fiction, but it genuinely perplexes me that sex is such a driving force behind so many aspects of irl society & of people's individual lives, for better or for worse

and that it's so deeply ingrained into how the average person views the world & various situations, because the average person feels sexual attraction, whereas i do not

i think the barrier between aces & allos is actually even deeper than it seems on the surface at times, because it's more than just the grating expectation that everyone must want to 'settle down' and have kids, it's also the fact that the majority of the world is sort of 'in' on a joke that aces will never truly be a part of

Hong Kong Disneyland Eats - April 2017

I was out at Hong Kong Disneyland last week and thought I’d share some pics of the interesting new eats I found this trip!

Iron Man waffles with chocolate dipping sauce in Tomorrowland…

“Korean squid” at one of the snack carts…

These Little Green Men vegetable buns have been on the menu at Crystal Lotus inside the Disneyland Hotel for a while now, but it was the first time I’d had them…

They recently added the adorable Baymax pork buns as well…

You feel bad eating him…

The painstaking prep work that goes into making this Mickey Mouse scallop soup is so impressive. And it was delicious…

Tsum Tsum jelly roll desserts…

Iron Man mango and strawberry sweets…

And while not a character-based food, the golden crab dish that this crab croquette was served in was so elegant…

I love how Disney continues to push the boundaries with interesting and entertaining eats at all their parks!

So I’ve realized that a lot of reverse crushes au basically just switch Marinette and Adrien’s personality so I was wondering how it would go it they acted instead more the way they canonically do and here’s what I have so far (feel free to add your headcanons)

• Adrien being hopelessly in love with Marinette and, since she’s not awkward around him, they are friends BEST FRIENDS

• So he flirts with her all the time and she mostly just brushes it off but sometimes she flirts back since she thinks he’s not really serious about it bc they’re just friends joking around (basically canon ladynoir)

• and Ladybug having this massive crush on the guy she’s supposed to work with but it takes a long time for them to actually start working together because whenever he tried to talk to her she would get all flustered and start stuttering and run away but he eventually gets used to it and accepts that that’s just how she is and it’s okay because she’s nice and really brave when in battle mode

• for marichat it’s just chat trying to impress his crush but (unlike with Adrien) Marinette.exe stops working everytime he flirts with her and he’s just like !!!!!!!!

• and ladrien is just Ladybug laughing, bickering, teasing and joking around one of her best friends and finding it all hilarious because that dork has NO idea, and him wondering why ladybug is never that comfortable around Chat and deciding that he really likes that side of her and that he’s going to try to get her to be more like this with Chat
