Thank you so much you gave me a little more confidence with planning my story and such. It's been a little difficult for me to plan out the arcs and plot points and getting overwhelmed!

Hi Hi quick question cus I'm trying to get as much advice as I can get😅😅

Lore and planning how do you plan out certain plot elements do you have a writing process for it? along with concept art what was your process behind concept art and settings.

This is really my first time doing digital art and fully planning an AU and I just needed a little help when planning my AU!

Thanks for asking! It really depends on the scope of your AU, or whatever you're working on for that matter.

There are many different ideals to consider when it comes to worldbuilding but I tend to start with the characters first and then build the world around them. Over time, I can add some extra things to spruce up the world, but I always remember that whatever I add to the world has to be meaningful to the story at some point.

It's okay to not have EVERYTHING fleshed out before you start writing. Just have the most important aspects of the world made first, and build around those things. Should you want to expand the world later, do so should the story call for it.

I'd say have and outline of your story ready before you get too deep into worldbuilding. It'll help keep you focused on the story without getting too distracted by menial details you can add and consider later.

I'm pretty safe in this regard as I have quite the encyclopedia of Original Lore that I tend to use for all of my creative works, so it gives me a good foundation I can use on any project. You may not have this, and starting from scratch is difficult, but all you have to remember is stick to your story, themes, and characters, and build around them! :)

As for concept art, I tend to do a lot of sketching, most of my concept art is drawn in my sketchbook first and then refined digitally. As for what I make concept art of, I focus mainly on character design, as it's my strongest suit. Though I'm starting to get more into location design, as well, like floor plans for buildings and maps of important places.

NPCs like Gummigoo and Loolilalu are going to be in this Au? If yes, what will their role be? Can players interact with NPCs? Does Caine have any power over them? Need more Caine info 😭

My AU: World of Wonder

Yes, Gummigoo and Loolilalu are going to be in the AU!

In fact, I gave him a daughter to make up for the fact his mother and wife are dead in the AU (trama 🎉yhhhh🎉)

Well, Gummigoo and Loolilalu are in the same Arc of the main story of the AU called Sweet Tooth Sugar Rush. Which is a Ragtha-centered Arc dealing with her past in Wonder which I am really looking forward to writing out!

Gunnigoo is the sherif of a town in the middle of the Sweet Heart Kingdom (The blue x on the map is the town). He's gonna be an AI that helps the gang into the Sweet Heart Kingdom when Ragatha get kidnapped. And that's a whole other story.

Loolilalu is the Queen of Hearts and a cruel one at that! She's gonna be a Boss for the gang to fight at the end of the arc!

And yes players can interact with the NPC's in many different way and build bond points with them as well!

As for Caine:

I wanna say technically yes he use to have control over them and with certain NPCs, he was able to build a bond with them. But after he becomes trapped in Wonder that changes. He can't be killed or attacked by any NPC but he can't control them or anything like that.

Also the NPCs in some sections of the map view Caine as a God so there's that!

GUESS WHO JUST SURVIVED A HURRICANE

Okay thats a little overboard. But I want to give you guys an update of whats going with me!

I live on the Gulf Coast in Teaxs. If you didn't know, a cat 1 hurricane named Beryl passed through (And is still passing through) the States.

I currently have no electricity along with 5 million other people in my city. AND IT'S CRAZY MAN. I live in on of the largest cities in the states and we've seen it all, but this tops the cake! When me and my mom took a drive through the city after the storm passed last night and when I tell you it was pitch 👏🏾black👏🏾.

It's pretty bad down here, but for me and my fam we're doing good, and I was able to go the a family members house to get internet.

I might be offline for a while since the my lights are still off but I'll be back to posting shortly I promise. I was planning on submitting the first final designs of my au but it might have to wait a lil more it.
