I wonder how soft these feathers feel.
really, just an excuse to draw some pretty wings...
Whenever Technoblade wasn't an anarchist war hero he was the bugs bunny of the dream smp. He hid on a wanted poster of himself. He avoided a death trap by sending skeppy to go in, get exploded off camera and show up covered in ashes until he made it through. He met god and wasted a wish on a bell. Hbomb made him another death trap disguised as a playground and he made it through like it really was one. I am convinced he could have walked out of the prision if he had improvised a dress out of his cape and winked at Sam

The way to avoid being a celebrity dick rider is to understand that no one rich AND famous AND influential makes it in those industries without at the very least knowing where some bodies are buried, keeping quiet about some exploitation or abuse, or making friendships and connections with the kind of people who are doing the lion's share of destroying the planet. And that at a certain point, they have more in common with elites than the ordinary people who support them. And also, they're going to be an unavoidable part of your media landscape unless you disengage completely from popular culture and alienate yourself from anyone who touches it. And also, your response to a celebrity's fuckshit is never as important to your response to the same fuckshit in your own community that you have direct influence over and the ability to organize around.
dude, I wish there was a cane user emoji, I'm not blind so I don't want to use that one but I'm also not a wheelchair user, for the most part I can get around fine with my cane. There was a period of time where it was hurting me, but I hadn't properly adjusted it back after my fiance used it when she'd hurt herself (she's taller than I am so I'd adjusted it out as much as I could)
I feel like a frail old man at 19
Just so we're clear.
Fictives are not a sign of faking.
Quiet/Loud switches are not a sign of faking.
Large systems are not a sign of faking.
Switching a lot is not a sign of faking.
Not switching much is not a sign of faking.
Emotional amnesia is still amnesia.
Don't force people to address trauma they may not even remember.
Don't force people to remember trauma.
Childhood traumas don't have to be what an adult would consider extreme. Kids are a lot more sensitive to stimuli and cruelty.
And some systems have done fucked up shit in their childhoods, it's not their fault they had to survive.
Be kind, people need it.
Disability tips and ideas from abled people: "buy a robotic hand that will flex for you so you can open and close your hands" "stair climbing wheelchair!" "Here's a robot that will use AI and complicated technology to feed you"
Disability tips and ideas from other disabled people: "get a bidet hose so you can freshen up when full showers are too hard" "stick the fork handle in a piece of pool noodle so you can actually grip the damn thing, if that doesn't work, tape it!" "you can totally tip your chair back on the anti-tip wheels and recline if you need to, just don't try and propel like that."
The difference is low vs high tech, cost, and general usability. Disability tech and aids need to pass a certain line of "is this more help than hinderance?" before they become useful. Cost, ease of use, need, and a couple other things all influence that.
