I don't understand Tristan's plan for hiding his smoking in S2, E1. Like, I don't understand what the bottles were for other than to look busy whenever Siegfried came into the room. Can someone explain it to me?

Trying to convince my boyfriend that All Creatures Great and Small is a wacky show about psychopaths as they try to blend into society.

I just started the original All Creatures Great and Small series. I think it's really great and charming so far, but I'm only on episode 2 and they've already killed a horse and a dog. Idk if I have the mental fortitude if it's going to be an every episode thing.
