Fun Fact:
In your eyes you have rods and cones. The rods specialize in dim light vision. The cones specialize in colorful, bright light vision.
Becuase if the location of the cones and rods in your eyes, you can see better in the dark with your peripheral vision than by looking straight on. Your peripheral vision is essentially your night vision.
So if it’s dark and you see something out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn to look there’s nothing there?
It wasn’t your imagination. There is something there. You just can’t see it when you look directly at it.
