Im not satisfied with Hermes's, I mean - his design from Hades's still stuck in my head. HELP
I need to work harder on him lmfao, mainly because of his freaking hair
Seeing others hide their Hermes's face, now I cant draw his eyes, it just make me feel uncomfortable and confused while drawing him. Ofc his design will be simplified if i make animatic, but Im still making out how the hell to actually express his vibe in Circe's saga

I've been working on every character's design since the end of last year. I mean, it is really annoying not to be able to do things I want (animating) haha
Watching others having their own designs for Hermes, I honestly want my Hermes to have sth special but I couldn't decide which style fits him well. But at the end of the day, I managed to make this, the final design for now, a postman. (It was a real pain)
I also drew Athena with him, but this will come out only when she argues with Ares in God Games
I mean, what if they were close friends (Actually like siblings) (I DEFINITELY will add this into my animatic if I can)

I absolutely love this take.
I saw a lot of posts, where is implied that Apollo in God Games doesn't care about Odysseus and his situation at all. But what if it's other way around and Apollo just cares too much?
Mythologically Apollo and Hermes are friends. And looks like Hermes cares about his grandgrandson (Odysseus' grandfather is son of Hermes). Hermes was the only god who helped Odysseus even without being asked, just because Hermes wanted to help him.
I just imagine, that Hermes keeps an eye on Odysseus and constantly chatters to Apollo about him, calling him Ody. So thats why Apollo choose such a ridiculous reason as sirens, and uses "Ody" - he wants to help just because of his friendship with Hermes.
I love how the fandom has basically made it canon that Hermes eyes are covered or just don’t exist.

Also yes that is a statue of Hermes he is painting! I have no idea where it’s from I just looked up “Hermes statue” and that photo popped up so I said “yeah okay”
My friends got me on EPIC: The Musical, which got me on some Greek mythology, so I’m in a phase now
And today/yesterday I’ve been drawing Apollo and Hermes, inspired by the animatics I’ve seen other artists do for EPIC
They’re very sketch
That’s the first one I did of Apollo, you will notice, for both Apollo and Hermes I draw them very, as my friend said, like twink thirst traps 😭
Added a leg slit(?) in his skirt because he can be sluttier. Him with his lyre/bow ✨
Next I tried Hermes, but the first sketch I did I wasn’t the biggest fan of :/
The only thing I couldn’t get right was the face/helmet. I’ve been not so good at drawing front facing view of faces for some reason lately

This Hermes is more inspired by EPIC if you couldn’t tell by the sunglasses in his hand and the Dawling ✨ (Troy is so meant to be Hermes. Wouldn’t You Like and Dangerous are my favorite songs in the musicals Istg)

I did add a hairpin to Apollo, and on it is like, the same charm that Hermes has on his messenger bag, a stone with a wing/feather

Also gave them friendship necklaces cuz why not lmao
And last but not least I again drew Apollo
Not as proportionate as I’d like but good enough, my creative juices with drying out. I added an arrow tattoo to his thigh because why not (speaking of I love the sun tattoo on his pec)
Anyways that’s been my little drawing craze from the last few hours, maybe when I get my hands on my drawing tablet I can crank out a piece that looks as good as my pencil sketches
