Dear world,
Today I address you with an urgent and moving appeal from the heart of suffering. I am Ahmed Abu Shamala, and I am trying my best to collect donations for my family who lives in the Gaza Strip, where they are suffering from famine and all forms of genocide.
Thanks to God, I was able to collect 10% of the required amount, but we are still very far from our goal. The small percentage of donors makes hope weak, but I believe in your generosity and kindness.
My family, like many families in Gaza, suffers from poverty, hunger, and constant danger. We urgently need your help. Your donations will help save the lives of my loved ones, and give them a chance at a dignified and safe life.

Crammed together like heaps of flesh in tents that feel like scorching ovens, our days have regressed to a more degraded version of those of the earliest humans. From morning till night, we search for the same things Abel and Cain sought to survive: water, food, and fire. We endure long hours in queues to get a meager amount of water, and the food consists of old, low-quality canned goods. We sleep and wake to the sounds of savage airplanes, unsure of where they will strike next or who among us will be turned into scattered remains. Here in Gaza, we are living the worst existence humanity has known since its very beginning, You are our only hope for escaping Gaza and its oppression. I want to die in Gaza. I'm not very interested in my life, but please don't let me see my sisters and brothers die in front of me. Please help us evacuate them from Gaza. There isn't much money left to evacuate them. Please donate and share the campaign..
Throughout the first five months of the war, both my big sister and my sister in law had been pregnant. They had to endure constant displacement and unspeakable horrors on top of pregnancy discomforts. The few times I was able to reach my sister, she would keep praying not to go into labor before that nightmarish reality ended.
Sadly, things did not go her way. The war was raging when she gave birth to beautiful baby Ossama, and it still is ongoing. Almost at the same time my brother and his wife had sweet baby twin girls, Ritaj and Rital. The three little angels are rocked to sleep by the sound of bombs and buzzing drones instead of lullabies. Due to the unsanitary conditions in their tent and formula scarcity, the newborns have been constantly suffering from acute respiratory infections as well as slow weight gain. The only medical care they were getting was that of an overcrowded field hospital with limited resources, and even that is now denied to them as my family has been forcibly evacuated again from Rafah to Khan Yunis where nothing is left but rubble.
As you may well know, many babies in Gaza are lost while waiting for consideration. The doctors previously insisted that the little ones would fail to thrive and fully recover if they stayed in the same unhealthy environment.
Despite everything, these babies are a source of hope and strength for us. Please don't let them fade away. My family is barely holding on for their sake and that of their older brothers and sisters.
We would be forever grateful for any kind of support.

February started with false hopes of a ceasefire.
It is now February 15 and the largest medical facility in South Gaza, which sheltered ~2,500 people and had been under siege for two weeks, has been attacked. It is now completely out of function.
We are 21 days away from marking 5 months of ongoing genocide.

There is also Operation Olive Branch, which has an excel sheet of numerous families in Gaza & how to donate to them + how to contact them. If you can afford it, please consider donating and please, please remember to scroll down to donate to families at the bottom of the list. If you cannot give, please simply share as many resources as you find.
I don't think people truly understand the gravity of Rafah being bombed.
There is nowhere left to go.
The lowest cost is $5,000 USD to flee to Egypt. There has been people paying over $10,000 USD.
That is the only option

Rafah was the only place in Palestine promised not to be bombed. That promise is broken.
