MLP Infection AU - True Bad Ending:

Almost everypony dies, leaving only some of Mane 6, and some other random ponies as the only ones surviving, to which they then have to rebuild society.

One of the survivors, out of everypony, is Zephyr Breeze

I bet I can ruin* the Infection AU by making it wholesome.

Like, keep the body horror and shit, but have it so no one dies. Have it be so the Infection only distorts the body, and makes it look horrifying, just so everyone would be too scared to try and treat it. Plus it would deliberately put the infected in question into this extreme panic, where they're convinced that they've become uncontrollable, flesh-eating monsters.

One of the main characters, however, finds out that the Infection doesn't turn ponies into flesh-eating monsters, and it just makes it seem like that to scare other ponies away.

So, then, the infected get proven to be safe, and they all get cured.

So, kinda like this drawing I made, where it was originally supposed to be a two-panel joke emphasizing an ironic reaction to a horrifying sight, before I kept building upon it, making it wholesome (not mlp-related; just wanted to share it) 👇

(cw: demonic possession/curses; references to pet/animal harm, though nothing actually gets hurt; embarrassing spelling error)

(*I mean this in a silly way; I don't actually have a problem with the AU)

One of characters - rainwing named Kinkajou - is standing in the front, her head is turned to the left. She`s keeping her wings close to herself, holding the small green bag in her talon. Her yellow and pink colours are darkened and desaturated, showing stress and pain. Frills and ears are lowered, bandage is wrapped around her neck in the place Moon bit her. Bright green eye is looking up a bit, her white is red from crying. Mouth is opened a bit. Her expression and pose shows fear, pain and devastation.
Moon ( Moonwatcher, the nightwing) is standing behind, her head turned to the right and parts of neck are visible. Her black scales with greenish-purplish tint are also desaturated, covered in red spots, black pores and rare spikes growing from her spine and throat. Her mouth is opened widely, showing unnaturally long teeth and swollen tongue falling out. The black liquid is running down her mouth and nose. She has eyebags, red irritated whites and glassy eyesm looking somewhere up blindly. Big ear is lowered. Moonwatcher looks rather emotionless despite of her expression.
Background is just a plain mix of rusty and grey spots, getting darker closer to the edges of the picture. End ID
