today, another low quality meme. tomorrow, who knows

i need more people to write soap as a math and science genius
like he is a human calculator. gaz shows it off as a party trick even though soap is the one actually doing something. like
“oy, look what my mate can do- soap, c’mere!”
and soap, who has done this a thousand times before, walks over.
“ok, ok- someone ask him a math problem. like- literally anything.”
someone gaz is talking to goes “uhh… seven radical three times the square root of nine,” and soap blinks a few times, stares at the ceiling for a moment, his fingers flick around a little, and about ten seconds later he says “forty-five thousand three hundred and sixty.”
and someone pulls out a calculator and goes, “holy shit, he’s right!”
and soap is just like “are you done now?” so that he can finally go back to shamelessly hitting on his lieutenant.
ghostsoap first meeting au where they get stuck on a chairlift together for an absurdly long time
ghost skis, of course, and gets just a little snobby when he sees that soap snowboards—but instead of brushing him off, soap just dishes right back. and it’s like that for a while before they realize that the chairlift is still not moving, and conversation gradually shifts into something friendlier. something more personal.
and in the end, when eventually the chair is moving again at least an hour later, they find themselves unwilling to stop talking, so they end up spending the rest of the day together—of course, after soap’s friends tease him before insisting he continues flirting with ghost.
and when it gets to dark and cold to continue going up and down the slopes? they warm up together with overpriced meals and hot chocolate in one of the mountain’s chalets.
(Soap after a night out finding Ghost on the floor passed out)
Soap: What are ye’ doing in my house…?
Ghost: Good question-

Price: How’s being married to Soap like
Ghost: Excuse me?
Soap: What do you mean-
Price: You both signed the papers last night
Ghost: What papers…
Price: Don’t tell me- YOU BOTH WERE THAT DRUNK?
Soap: WHAT PAPERS, PRICE
Price: Marriage certificate-
Ghost: …
Soap: OH MY GOD
Price to Ghost: YOU SERIOUSLY DON’T REMEMBER CARRYING HIM IN BRIDAL STYLE?
Ghost: NO!?
ghost, unaware that comms are open: *whispering* another one bites the dust *body drops* dunndundumdun another one bites the dust *body drops* mm-mm-mm—
gaz: uh—
soap: no, no, let him focus.
ghost is a smoker. soap knows this.
how could he not? he’s heard ghost excuse himself plenty of times for a smoke break, has seen that the man always has a light on him, has even witnessed ghost standing off on his own with a cigarette balanced between his lips.
except… come to think of it, soap has never actually seen him take drags of those same cigarettes. and every time anyone has asked to bum a cig off ghost, he always comes back with some retort like get your own or i don’t share.
but obviously he’s a smoker, right? because what else could it be?
well, soap discovers exactly what when he sneaks out for some fresh air one evening, and manages to spot ghost before ghost spots him. using that advantage, he sidles up to the lieutenant, giving ghost barely any time to snuff out his cigarette and all evidence of his smoking before soap’s appearance beside him.
but then soap hears a crunch and is absolutely horrified when ghost takes the cigarette into his mouth and fucking chews.
“ghost?”
“hm?”
“what the fuck?”
as it would turn out, ghost is not a smoker—at least, not anymore. he just always has a pack of candy cigarettes on him that have helped him curb the real habit.
the discovery makes for a good laugh later, but the relief of learning that ghost was not, in fact, eating a real cigarette is the only thing soap is willing to concern himself with for the time being.
