Excuse my dumb au's but i just read the cutest cherry magic au for wangxian and i couldn't help myself.
Moonjo, residential perfectionist and loner working at an insurance company (no sexy murder dentist in this timeline oops), turns 30 while still being a virgin. So, he suddenly has the ability to read other people's minds, and he finds a way to use that to his advantage, and ascend to higher positions in the company.
A couple of years later, Jongwoo starts working at the same insurance company, and Moonjo takes a liking to him. Only Jongwoo always evades and ignores the other so he can't really read his thoughts. But several months later, as they both get off work close to midnight, he manages to do so, and finds Jongwoo's thoughts to be an odd string of "God that bastard is so fucking handsome I want him to choke me but also I want to punch him in the face because he's so perfect all the time, and also what is it with him grinning all the time and his stupidly pretty eyes, god i HATE HIM"
an au that would be funny is, if rona existed when Jongwoo moved into Eden and oh boy oh god now he's quarantined with these creepy people and cannot leave the residence
best thing about writing from jongwoo's perspective is the unreliable-narrator aspect: is this really happening? is this moonjo, or an actual person? am i confusing the reader, or spelling out the truth, or does it just seem like i'm spelling out the truth when really it's a hallucination of jongwoo's?
i've had this thought for a while, but bad and crazy's first episode is categorized as the mlm version of king princess' "pain" mv in my brain
So, those posts about 'jagiya' translations into other languages? Yeah, i love them.
Sadly, German has virtually no cute terms of endearment, alas, I put a spin on it: I present to you, Austrian German curse words Jongwoo would use on Moonjo

I feel like it works with the way Jongwoo usually speaks with Moonjo?? I would definitely scream 'deppada' the same way Jongwoo does 'saekkiya', and it can be easily used with other curse words

This is THE word you hear in Vienna lmao, but I think Jongwoo would be too much of a 'countryboy' to actually use that. Plus it doesn't work with the way he yells at Moonjo?? Like I'd use it in a derogatory looking-down-on-someone kind of way

Slightly better than 'Oaschloch', but still too calm I think?? Also Moonjo is too elegant for a person I'd typically think to be a 'wichsa'

Moonjo loves annoying Jongwoo with words (and actions, but his creepiness is often conveyed through encouragements and words), and 'Goschada' is PERFECT for that

Hmmmm not enough anger for me?? I feel like it's used more towards (annoying, malicious) children or younger people, so maybe Jongwoo would use it when Moonjo is really annoying him? Idk
yk the team behind 'bad and crazy' probably thought the fans would be thirsting over dongwook or hajun the most, but in reality, it's jieun and hieora that have the fandom in a chokehold
"Bad and crazy" more like I'm going (bad and) crazy over my sexuality and gender identity watching this drama
why does moonjo stand like a 3-year old child whenever he's in that all black outfit?? mf out here a "serial killer" but looking like that robert pattinson tracksuit meme???

let me pitch: dongwook in your typical cheesy kdrama setting, but with both male and female love interests
ryu soo yeol and k are like the male version of a 'good for her' woman
currently rewatching Strangers from Hell again for the new year, and you can straight up see Moonjo fall in love with Jongwoo in real time as he talks about his little pianist murderer
