A Chain of Monsters

My Fic MasterList

Hello! this Linked universe au is by @nebulapaws and its amazing and awesome so I wanted to write about it, but I have no plot ideas so just have a bunch of the links from this au chillin.

If you don't know what this au is, all the links are monsters from myths/legends. nebulapaws knows much more about each monster, but heres the context:

Green is a Harpy, Blue is a selkie, Red is a satyr/fire Fae, Violet is a changeling/were (werewolf?), Shadow is a demon (of the shapeshifting vein), all together Four is a chimera (bird, deer, seal, wolf and Fae.), Twilight is a werewolf, Wars is a kelpie, Wind is a sylph, Sky is a biblically accurate angel, Time is a fallen angel (in this context, I'm assuming when angels fall they lose all the eyes and.... biblical stuff and just a pair of wings is visible. In Time's case, his wings are clipped.), Hyrule is a cervitaur, Legend a pookah, and Wild is a dyriad (or coulde be a naga. In this one tho, I plan on making Wild a dryad, but maybe in the future there could be some with naga Wild.) I have no clue where this could be going, but who knows! So yeah, thats all the info in this fic you really need to know!

Green groaned as his tail scrapped across the dirt. His normally green feathers soaked in mud. Thats going to take so long to get out... he tucked his wings close and ducked under a particuallry low hanging arch as he stumbled through the forest.

"This is not the best portal jump we've had..." Red mumbled, shaking next to him in the crisp air.

"Yeah, worse enough its a full moon. Vio and Twilight are in their were forms. And Vio doesn't have us to help contain him. I also expect him to not want to form Four..." Green trailed off.

"So basically the only way we can catch and stop the rest of the chain from finding out about us is if we catch and somehow contain Vio? But for how long? We can't form Four without Vio and the rest of the group will want to come search for us!"

Green sighed. "I don't know Red. I don't know.."

Time's back ached. He reached his hand to his back, before stopping himself. Lowering his hand again, he sighed as he watched Wild wildly (aha, a pun) wave his hands around and Wind watch in awe.

"Hey, you okay there?" Sky asked, his wings twitching on his back as he blinked at Time. He stiffened, not hearing Sky at all as he came over.

Time nodded. "Yes. I am fine."

Sky frowned. "I can tell your hurting. Can I see the injury. If I bring Hyrule will it help?"

Time shook his head. "I'm afraid that this injury is years old. Nothing we can do now."

"Oh, but still. Maybe we can do something so you're not in pain?" He asked, his wings fluttered behind him as he gently patted his friend's shoulder.

"You can try." Time said, Sky nodded and hopped off, coming back with Hyrule. His hooves nerviously pawing the ground as his pointed deer ears flickered. He tilted his head.

"Where is the injury?" He asked, his fingers fidgeting with his horns on his head.

Time turned around, and gestured towads the back

"Can you remove your armor and shirt real quick?" Hyrule asked and Time nodded, slowly taking off his armor and discarding it in front of him.

Hyrule gasped as Time partly lifted his shirt off. Displaying scars that ran across his entire body. His cold hands gently touched the scars.

"Where did you get this from...?"

"A secret I would rather not tell."

Sky gasped, quietly under his breath. He stared at the scars in shock.

"Seriously Blue? You live in a fish tank??" Shadow laughed, cackled even, as Blue glared at him in return.

"Listen, I like the tank. Its a nice tank." Blue crossed his arms and huffed.

Vio watched them quietly, his horns shifting away as he closed his book to stop his siblings from arguing.

"Hey Legend!" Wild called out, picking up the pookah and grinning. "You wanna commit some crimes?"

"No thank you! I've committed enough in my time." He crossed his hands.

"I want to!" Wind exclaimed, his form flickering slightly in the breeze,

"Of course you do!" Wild laughed at the sylph's antics.

"You all have fun. Now listen, I'm not responsible for whatever you do." Four said without looking up from Time's shield. "Most of all, I swear if you break another sword Wild, we're going to have words." His wings shifted behind him as his antenna things flicked.

Wild nodded.

"Can you let me down now?!"

Warriors ears flicked as he stood in the swamp. He frowned and stared at his hooves as they sunk into the dirt.

"You're looking a little down there." footsteps squished through the swamp behind him.

Warriors turned to see Twilight. He nodded. "Yeah, it just.. instincts. You know?"

Twilight nodded. "Yeah, happens every full moon here."

They stood in silence as crickets started to chirp.

"Whats it like when you turn into a werewolf?"

Twilight sighed. "Like being trapped in a prison within yourself."

Warriors stayed silent, watching the setting cast beams across the sky. Like an endless dance.

"Sometimes, I wish I didn't have these instincts."

What are we even playing?! Uh... Guys?

To be honest, no one knew how it started. It was supposed to be a good game night at Lon Lon ranch.

Malon watched the chaos confusedly, while her father was only making it worse.

See, the chain were all playing a different game. Legend somehow got his checker pieces and was playing with Wild, whom had stored chess pieces in his slate. Both had a layout of cards underneath, all different colors as they played. Wind was looking smug as he hoarded all the tokens in a game from his era called, poker. Time was playing old maid and Hyrule was playing a game called go fish. Twilight was somehow playing catan with Warriors who was doing a game called Sorry. Sky was playing uno and Four argued with himself as he played monopoly. Somehow, they all were sitting in a circle and were calling out things to one another.

"Hey uhh... Guys? What are we playing?" Wind asked, blinking as Hyrule said 'Go fish' and dug through the pile of cards.

"Chutes and Ladders." Talon said with a completely deadpan expression.

"Dad you're not helping!" Malon cried.

"I know."

"Oh! Okay thank you! Wait. Whats Chutes and Ladders?" Wind asked.

"Wait you don't got chutes and ladders in your time? Tragic. Its a great game."

"No they should pay me and then I cam move my car piece over and buy Park Place!" Four muttered, his eyes flashing different colors in the light.

"You okay Four?" Sky asked, looking at Four.

"Yeah, I just. I need more money, and SOMEONE is refusing to pay me." Four glared at Warriors.

Warriors shrugged, bumping Four's car. "Sorry."

Wild cheered. "Checkmate!"

Legend laughed. "Yes, but now..." he paused, waiting for a dramatic effect. "I make this a king! Aha! That is my fourth king!"

Twilight stared at Time in silence as he put down a town on the water's edge.

Time placed down two pairs of cards, the same image reflected.

Hyrule giggled, calling out "Go fish Time!" and Time sighed.

Malon watched as the chaos around her increased in volume.

Suddenly, a knock on the door drew Malon's attention away and she turned. Weaving between the scattered pieces and laid out cards that splattered their living room floor like paint.

"Hello!" Malon greeted as she opened the door, noticing the postman.

"Hello. I have a letter for... uhh... Link?" he asked, waving a letter.

Malon nodded. "I can take that. Thank you very much."

The postman eyed the chaos in the living room curiously. "Whatever is going on in there, it sounds like fun. They playing clue?"

Malon groaned. "Don't you start also... No, I have no clue what is going on."

The postman laughed. "Well, I must go. After all, these letters aren't going to deliver themselves!" He waved and walked off. Malon shut the door with a quiet click just in time to hear her dad call out.

"Yahtzee!"

At the end of the day, no one had any clue what was going on, but they all had fun. Malon smiled seeing all the heroes laughing and joking around.

It must be a nice break from all the stress. Malon smiled warmly at the heroes, young and old. I'm glad that they had fun. They deserve some fun in their life.

What better way to start the new year off with a fic? - A Wild Time to slow down.

Main Navigation Center

My Fic MasterList

Time was fighting a horde of monsters. All wielding clubs, swords, and anything else they could get their grubby little hands on. A bokoblin swung a really heavy sword at Time when suddenly it was as if it were moving in slow motion. Everything slowed significantly and Time blinked, easily dodging the swinging sword.

What? He blinked, wondering if any of the links had done this. Turning, he noticed that everyone was slowed down. Legend was in the middle of a backflip, dodging a blast of fire. Sky and Four were back to back, swords swinging and determined expressions. Wind and Warriors were teamed up, it appeared that they had formed some kind of hurricane. Twilight next to him was also slowed down, mid yell to warn Time. He could see no Hyrule or Wild.

As suddenly as it slowed down, everything sped back up. Legend finished his backflip with a slice of his sword. Twilight closed his mouth, but he was blinking at where Time was just at, staring at Time now right next to him.

"How did you...? you know, I'm not questioning it..." Twilight muttered as he slashed a moblin.

(Twilight asked Time later, he just shrugged or made a cryptic comment and continued on.)

The next time it happened, Time saw the culprit in action. Wild just barely missed a hindox's attack. Just as he dodged, time slowed down again. Wild moved at normal pace and slashed at the hindox in quick attacks.

Hyrule was mid lighting strike when it happened. Time couldn't help but chuckled at Hyrule's position.

Huh, thats a useful trick. Time chuckled and Wild turned just in time to see Time pulling up his sheild to block an arrow.

(Wild wondered how he was moving normally and still, to this day, does not know how Time moved normally. Wild was determined to figure it out, but still. Time is a very cryptic hero...)

Time resumed to normal as they fought they continued to fight the horde once more.

((Sorry! I accidentally posted this on the wrong account!))

The Hero Send, the Adventures of the Special Heroes.

The First part of this

My Fic MasterList

"Hello, thank you for calling Hero Send, what's your emergency?" Artemis asked, her head on her shoulder to hold the phone while she edited the online sheet of calls.

"There is a war going on between to nations about a stolen.. uh.. A bunch of stolen items. I do not care which hero you send, we are nearby lake Hylia."

"Lake Hylia.. Lake Hylia..." Artemis scanned the sheet, seeing Hero of Light the closest. "Do you happen to have a Prenium Package?"

"Yes."

"We shall be sending the Hero of Light over there momentarily. Thank you again for calling us, and we wish you luck and hope you do not die."

Spirit sighed, being once again mistaken for the Hero of Winds. AGAIN.

"Look, the Hero of Winds doesn't have freckles!" He shouted, waving his hands and pointing at his freckles. "Also the Hero of Winds can't be seasick since he is consistently out in sea!" He groaned, face palming.

"Here," He waved the info page in front of the person's eyes. "See here? Hero of Seas, out of Network Coverage, and excels in sea-based rescues. Hero of Spirits, excels in fixing things. only avaliable in New Hyrule." Boom see. You're in New Hyrule. I'm the only Hero here... on a day to day basis but I digress!" He smiled, proud of his accomplishment.

Linkle laughed gleefully as her cuccos rushed across the field. Tearing apart everything in their path.

"Thank you hero!" The minish cried, waving at the masked figure that had just stopped a lizalfos from trampling the village. Their mask represented a minish, with various colors to hide in the forest.

The hero silently nodded before hopping into the trees. Where they sat, they stared at the black scale in their hands.

Unusual. Lizalfos aren't this black. Nor do they have such blood red eyes. They mused. I better stay on watch, and should at least tell the Hero Send. Warn them at least. They thought as they pulled their hood over their head, shoving their dirty blonde hair in the hood, hiding it.

"I'm sorry, but what is that hero doing??" A man muttered as he watched the display of a hero dancing around a Hindox twice his size.

"Oh thats the Hero of Rhythm! He's always like that. He only works on festivals and holidays, so then the other heros can get a break!" A young man with curly red hair strolled up to him watching the battle.

"He has a very unique battling style.." the man commented, scratching the back of his head.

The curly red haired man nodded. "Yeah! There are rumors that he can constantly hear music. No one knows what he hears, but thats why he dances!"

(Meanwhile, Rhythm is jamming out to the Ocarina of Time's intro theme as he's battling)

The beast frowned, seeing the heroes drawing there swords.

"Well Well Well, look at this. Its the extra wannabe heroes. The ones who failed so badly that they were put into the 'off days' catagory." It scoffed at the fake heroes that stood before him. "All of you are so, pitiful. The Hero of Warriors beccame a normal hero while you are all still stuck in the second place spot. You know, I could offer you something. An exchange, perhaps." It snaped its fingers. "A deal just for you."

"No thank you." Linkle said, crossing her arms. Her cuccos swarmed around her legs, the other heros stayed far away from them as possible.

The hero of Light shook his head, signing no as he finally was able to pry his shield free and held it up.

The hero of Spirits and Rhythm also shook their heads. The pointed their swords and narrowed their eyes at it.

All that left was the Hero of Men, who was quietly listening to the entire thing. "First, what might this deal be?" they spoke in quiet voice, tilting their head in interest.

It grinned as the other heroes turned to stare at the Hero of Men.

"Well, easy. You get praise and well known throughout the world. People will regard you as true heroes, not the imposter wannabes you are now. Maybe even able to run your own buisness!" It stated, throwing the cherry on top.

"Yes, but how would you be able to get us to this status? What would the tradeoff even be?" The Hero of Men asked in a calm tone of voice.

"Well, you can leave the how to me. The trade off, well you will find out if you take it!" It spread its arms out as if going for a hug.

"Thats a bad way to run buisness. Not giving them a full opportunity to think. Besides, a trade deal both need to know what the other will give them." the Hero of Men shook their head in dissappointment. "And here I was hoping to get a better preposition. No deal I'm afraid." Drawing his sword, the other heroes blinked owlishly and turned towards the beast.

"How unfortunate. I was afraid of this happening. However, Hero of Men, if you are up to it, I can get a better deal later. However, I'm afraid all of you must go. Afterall, I can't have the pesky REAL heroes knowing about this can I?" It drew a sword with a curved dent in it, it was so sharp, that it drew the monster's blood on accident. "Really a shame. Unforuntely, your jobs aren't to protect Hyrule and whatever else you protect. Now your jobs are to be dead."

The Hero of Spirits growled angryily. "You were the one who sent the letter weren't you! Not the hero of Winds! You little.." His face scrunched in anger.

It nodded. "I see you answered it quite well. New Hyrule will look great once I'm done with it. Now all of you hold still..."

It lunged.

She really didn't want to do it. But it gave her no choice.

She wrapped her hands around her hurt heroes, she protected them. Wrapping them in a barrier strong enough to stop even the god of chaos if needed.

They were dying. The poor heroes. Her poor heroes. Dying. She had to do something. She had sent a sgnail to the Hero Send. She hoped it was enough.

Her hurt heroes were protected, but she could not help the others. She's already broken a rule.

But if worse came to worse, she would break it again.

"You are as special as them, you are no fakes. If they fall, then you will need to help this world before chaos comes for all." she whispered.

Yes, she would break rules to help her heroes.

The Hero Send

A prompt in the linked universe discord by 'A Hero of Way Too Many Wilds.'

My Fic MasterList

"Hello, thank you for calling Hero Send, what's your emergency?" A cool, pleasant, female voice asked through the call.

"THERE'S A GIANT PIG MONSTER CHASING ME AND-" A sharpened blade sliced where he was just earlier. The beast becoming human faster and faster. "ACK- HELP!!"

"Understood. Are you within our covered network of Hyrule?" The soothing voice asked smoothly. As if they had all the time in the world.

"YES! YES! I'M IN HYRULE FIELD! PLEASE SEND HELP!!! OH GODDESS, HE'S GOT A HORSE!!" He yelped as the once-pig beast now got on a skeletal mount and galloped towards him.

"Horseback, Hyrule field..." The woman's voice droned as sounds of very loud typing was resigered through the call. "All other heroes are currently asisting other customers. The closest is the Hero of Wilds. Would that suffice?" The woman inquired

"YES!" He shouted quickly.

"He's been informed and coming out there immediately."

"THANK YOU!!" He could only pratically cry tears of joy as the sounds battle as the Hero of Wilds came and made quick work of the beast.

"Hey Lullaby, how's the work been? Any new customers?" Malon asked, sticking her head into the room where Lullaby and several other Zeldas sat at several computers.

"Yes. A new call from Hytopia. I had sent Legend the on the case, since he has had work there before.

Malon nodded. "What about you Sun? Anything new with the different operations?"

Sun shook her head. "So far, nothing too bad has happened. What about you? How's been the new recruits?"

Malon smiled. "Doing quite well in fact. I was just talking with Tetra earlier about them. Sidon is particually excited. Miphia also told us many wonderful things about him."

Flora chuckled over to Malon's left.

Suddenly, the phone rang.

"Dusk you take it." Lullaby sighed, resting her head on her hands.

"Okay then."

"Hello, thank you for calling Hero Send, what's your emergency?" A female's voice asked.

"Hi, yes. Well there is this giant dinosaur with a turtle shell that breathes fire and is causing mass destruction." He spoke in his high pitched voice. "I was just tryin' to have a nice camping trip."

"Are you in our covered network of Hyrule?" The voice asked, more strained than before. Of course, he didn't notice.

"No, unfortunately not. But I will get the prenium package if I must. I am in the Mushroom Kingdom."

"I'm afraid that is a beyond our network systems. If you are looking for help in the Mushroom Kingdom, I hear the Mario and Luigi plumbing and saving service is special for that kingdom. I'm am very sorry for the inconvenience. I wish you luck and I truly hope you do not die."

A click sounded and Fable sighed, groaning in misery.

"Another call from the Mushroom Kingdom?" Dot asked, looking up from her computer, pity glinting in her eyes.

"That's the fourth time this week. I swear if I hear again about this giant, fire-breathing dino with a turtle shell I'm going to lose it." Fable groaned.

Dot gently patted her shoulder in apology.

(Captain Toad was upset. Mario and Luigi's plumbing and saving has the worst service. Plus! They aren't even free half the time. Also the Hero Send is so much more reliable. He growled in defeat, shaking his head sadly as Bowser roared in the background.)

Tetra sighed as she walked the hallways of the Hero's Send building. I don't understand why I can't take calls! She grumpily sat down on a bench and ate her sandwich.

"Hey its okay!" Aurora smiled as she sat next to Tetra, scooping bits of pasta into her mouth.

"I don't understand why I can't take calls!" Tetra exclaimed, waving her hands in the air.

"Maybe because the last couple of calls resulted in argueing matches? Also you broke our last phone, after getting a call from the mushroom kingdom again, by throwing it at a wall." Aurora blinked, wiping her mouth.

"Oh yeah.."

"Besides, you work much better as a captain and the boss of people. You're just a natural leader."

Hyrule sighed, after just healing an injured elder after a big attack, he wiped his forehead. Removing the sweat. Suddenly, he got a ding and stared at his comumicator.

Needed at Hebra mountain, please don't get lost!

Hyrule frowned, staring at the message.

"Is it just me, or has there been more attacks recently?" He asked Four, who had just helped him save a village.

Four nodded. "Yeah, and these monsters are not at all natural. Having this black blood and everything. I have an odd feeling that something's not right..."

"Yeah... Hey, which direction is Hebra Mountain? I forgot my map again."

"AGAIN?!"

"Hello and thank you for choosing Hero Send. Unfortunately our team is busy and unable to take your call. Your call is important to us. Please hold."

"THERE'S A GIANT OCTOROCK THAT'S DESTROYING MY BARN! NO I WILL NOT HOLD!"

Time groaned, his back aching.

"What old man. You having back troubles?" Warriors asked teasingly, swiping his sword through moblins that swarmed them.

"Well yes, I am old. But also I had to come the the Guerdo right after a call from Hyrule town."

"Ooh, that's rough."

"Oh its Mr Hero and Mr Pirate Hero!" Ravio exclaimed excitedly, clapping his hands together.

"Yes, hi Ravio. You called for help..?"

"Oh yes! Over there!"

"Ravio, where- uhm. Ravio... Do you know what kind of monster that is?"

"Oh my goddess! Legend!"

Ravio secretly cackled as the two heroes stared at the worst monster of all. A cucco. (Also Ravio never really needed help, he always loves when Mr Hero comes around though.)

Twilight's ears pinned back as the strange man approached. He growled as the young girl clutched his neck fearfully.

"Hey now, I ain't goin' to do nothin' with her." He said, his accently clearly fake.

Twilight narrowed his eyes and ran, with the child protectively on his back.

"Look! Doggie!" The child cried, rushing towards the wolf with odd patterns on him.

"Yes, doggie." Wild cackled quietly, watching Twilight glare at him totally worth it.

"Doggie!" the children cried, their tear soaked faces grinning with joy.

"Now this is Wolfie. Here let me show you something he really likes..." Wild explained.

(Twilight supposes it wasn't the worst. But he sure is going to make sure that the Zelda's hear his mind. He never signed up to be a wolfy companion. Then again, he supposes its not that bad. Seeing the children laugh again after a fire.)

"Welcome to the Hero Send. If you need any help, please see our recipetent. Otherwise, you may check out some of our finest items over in the 'Heroes Hoard', named after the one and only Hero of Legends." Mipha smiled as A goron walked past, lumbering over to the Heroes Hoard.

"Hey, where can I get the special lawn mowing service?"

"You can talk to Urbosa about that if you want. However, we are not responsible for pottery destruction." Mipha said with a complete straight face.

"Thank you!"

Oh for the love of the Goddess...

She stared at the ad of Hero Send. Her eyes flickered throughout the text.

"Are you in danger of death? Maybe you lost something important to you? Call 4166-hyaa to get the service of a Hero! They will be there instantly and you won't have to worry about a thing! Prenium packages and the off days include very unique and special heroes to help out with YOUR needs."

She smiled knowing they were in good hands

The Hero Send. Its scoffed, its red eyes rolling at the name. They think by summoning those pesky heroes, that I will just what? Stop and lay down dead? Hylians so reliant on their devices nowdays. It would be a shame if everyone were to suddenly lose power.. It smiled wickedly, sharp, crooked, jagged teeth gleaming in the moonlight. It fiddled around with a wire before snapping it into two, forcefully cutting out the power quickly.

When the heroes do come, I will send them to an early grave.

In which a rupee is worth staring at for 17 hours.

Basically it's a Twilight Princess speedrun low%, but its Lu and Twilight just stares at a rupee for 17 hours as he slowly gets absorbed by the wall. Enjoy!

Main Navigation Center My Fic MasterList

Legend groaned as a branch smacked right into his face for the seven-hundredth time that day. Shoving it out of his face he ducked to avoid the next incoming leafy missile.

"Twilight, where are we going that is so off road?" Legend asked as Warriors grumbled behind him. "And also, we've lost the rest of the group." Legend squinted into the trees, his hair tickling his neck as he looked for the others.

"Well, I mean they have Zelda. Plus! I wanted to see something. You see, there is this wall that I've had a particular trouble with... And you always seem to have rupees. I will need a rupee when we get there." Twilight explained, motioning to a big gate with a heavy lock on front. It was three times the size of Time (Legend groaned internally), and clearly sturdy by looking at it.

"See, I was challenged a while back to find a way into here..." Twilight started, crossing his arms and staring at the gate. "Back then, I didn't have anything with me... but now I will get past this gate." Twilight paused, turning towards Legend and Warriors. The later of which was grumbling and pulling leaves out of his hair.

"Continue.." Legend said with the most deadpan expression and voice.

"Without opening the gate." Twilight grinned, revealing sharp canines from his wolf form. "Hey one of you, pass me a rupee. Doesn't matter what kind. This is going to take a while... probably." Twilight smiled as he stood at the gate facing Legend and Warriors.

Warriors threw a blue rupee and stood back, watching as Twilight grabbed it and stared at it.

It went so long that the sun was starting to set and Legend and Warriors had made a campfire, bickering as the time passed.

"Hey Twilight?"

"Yeah?"

"You've been staring at that rupee for seven hours now. I think it knows your the stare master. Or if this is a staring contest your losing. Badly." Legend groaned, watching the unintresting display of Twilight just staring at a rupee.

"Yeah, I did warn you it would take a while."

Fourteen hours in and Twilight was still staring at a rupee. But Legend noticed something... odd.

"I'm sorry, but Twilight? Are you.... merging into the wall??" Warriors beat Legend to the chase, his eyes staring at where Twilight was clearly partly in the wall.

"Yeah, you know that one thing you can do where you phase into walls Legend? This is kind of like that, it just takes a lot of time.." Twilight laughed quietly.

"Oh for the love of hylia. You mean like one of those physic defying things?" Legend laughed. A short, barky sound. It reminded Warriors of a Rabbit.

Warriors sighed, finishing up an apple he was eating. "Well, we should probably sleep in shifts. Since we don't know where the rest of the group is and there could be monsters around."

Legend nodded. "Good place for an ambush. I'll take first and when, and if, Twilight stops staring at a rupee, I'll wake you up."

Warriors nodded and settled down. Laying out his mat, he settled on a comfortable position as Legend observed the surrounding area.

"So Twilight. Have you ever done this before?" Legend asked.

Twilight nodded. "Once. There was this gate I had to get past to fight a boss. However, I couldn't get the key, so I had to sit there staring at a rupee for 20 hours. My friend was so dumbfounded and I would say, it was worth it seeing her face." Twilight laughed quietly, his expression turning sad at the mention of his friend.

Legend groaned. "It took you 20 hours? Oh god. I have a feeling we'll be here for a very long time."

Seventeen hours of nothing, and Legend was done. He had woken Warriors up and sat down on his mat again as Warriors rubbed his eyes.

Warriors glanced at Twilight muttered "He's still at it?"

Legend nodded. "I've been timing him. Its been 17 hours."

"Geez." Warriors groaned. "At least it seems he's halfway into the gate or something."

Suddenly, Twilight jerked. Both Warriors and Legend jumped as Twilight suddenly moved, vanishing behind the gate.

They both stared at the gate, and it suddenly opened. Revealing Twilight with slightly bloodshot eyes.

"I did it! AHA I beat the challenge! I'm... I'm going to sleep." Twilight mumbled, collapsing next to Legend.

"Must of been a very interesting rupee huh?" Legend snickered.

"Right now, all I can see is blue rupees. Everything is just blue rupees now." Twilight groaned, he rolled over on his back in the grass. "I forgot how boring it is and how painful is it after. I feel so sore, I don't think I will stand for the next ten thousand years."

Warriors snorted. "Would you like some help setting up your mat?"

"Yes please."

Meet Olly the stalhorse

"Guys, this is Olly"

"Wild, that is a stalhorse. Get away from that thing!"

"But he's a friend, say hello to him. And hurry up, it's half past 3"

Time facepalmed, his one good eye staring at where Hyrule was gently patting Olly gently, a confused expression on his face.

Legend to was groaning in a face palm. "Aren't those things monsters or something? The stable person said that it could eat the other horses when you tried to keep the last one."

"What do you mean? Why do we need to hurry?" Four asked simultaneously, looking into Olly's glowing eyes. "Also Wild had gotten more of these? When? And why have I never seen them before now??" Four's eyes widened and glimmered violet in the moonlight.

Wind was petting Olly, clearly not caring about danger. Sky and Twilight, however, stayed back.

"Well, you see..." Wild started before Olly collapsed in on himself.

Wind and Four instinctively jerked away, Time noticed Four's hand instantly go to his sword handle. Warriors watched quietly, not reacting much but a small stiffen of his muscles. Legend watched disinterestedly but his hand flashed to his bag for a quick second. Sky and Twilight stared not moving. Only Hyrule and Wild was unfazed. Time himself was a little unnerved as Olly started to break apart.

"That happens.." Wild said as he watched his friend crumple into purple dust to float away in the wind.

"Aww, but Olly!" Hyrule said slightly sad as he watched the nicest (In Hyrule's opinion) monster fade away into the wind.

"Olly shall be missed on this day..."

Wind, no Link, as he had to keep reminding himself, stared at a very familiar portal shifting in front of him. He scrubbed at his eyes, wondering if he just traveled into the past or not. Glancing over, he noticed Tetra was also staring at the gaping portal.

"Do you think these lead to a different time?" Tetra wondered, staring at the portal for a long time before she gasped and doubled over.

"You okay?" link asked, before he too doubled over in more shock then anything.

It was like something was calling him, no, more pulling him, towards the portal. He couldn't help but stumble a little blinking bleary.

"Are you saying you had to feel this last time?" Tetra asked, walking towards the portal in a daze, but stopping last minute, barely touching it.

"This is weird, its not like last time." Link frowned, he too strolled towards the portal, stopping just short of entering.

"Together?" Tetra asked, tilting her head towards Link as she hefted her sword, no doubt thinking about the black-blooded monster the last time there were portals.

Link nodded. "Lets go!"

_____________________________________________________________

Coming out of the portal, was a total warzone. Literally. Explosions boomed around Link and Tetra as monsters and hylians ran around waving swords, sticks, and bows at each other aggressively. As Link and Tetra walked through, a monster, a bokoblin specifically, ran straight into Tetra's drawn cutlass, spearing it through the middle. Hylians and Monsters paused and turned to stare at Link and Tetra as they took in their surroundings.

"Well, I can say I didn't expect this." Link stated, staring at the sea of monsters. "Well, at least we prepared for a fight!" he said, drawing Four's old shield his shield and his sword and stabbing the nearest monsters. Tetra soon followed with stabbing monsters.

Behind them, the portal collapsed with a quiet ruushh.

Tetra and Link steadily fought toward the hylians, stabbing, twirling, and slashing at all the monsters that came near. An aeralfos swooped from above and Link raised his shield, bracing for impact. But it never came. He blinked and stared at a very familiar scarf and a much more familiar shape appeared on the back of the aeralfos.

Warrior! Holy Hylia! Wait, was this what Warriors was talking about back during our quest? Link smiled at the sight of his friend.

"We must retreat! They have us 5 to 4!" Warriors (or past Warriors? Link had no clue) A faint call of "retreat!" and "Go back!" followed.

Past Warriors landed next to Link and Tetra, beckoning them over. "New people, come over! We got you covered!" Tetra and Link nodded, falling behind Warriors as he waded through the swarm of monsters as he stabbed any monster who dare come near.

They moved for what felt like hours. (Well, I mean Warrior's Hyrule is pretty big, not Wild big but pretty big. Link's brain supplied, and he sighed in return.) Until they had arrived at Warrior's Hyrule town, however it looked a little more run down then usual.

“Link!” A voice called out and Wind turned, staring at a small version of Time without any scars or anything. Aww, he's so young! Wind cooed silently, relishing the moment he finally wasn't the youngest. Artemis, or as Link supposed, Zelda of this time, was strolling towards them. Her armor glittered in the rising sun, and her eyes narrowed into stilts once she saw the newcomers. Both mini-Time and Zelda stopped in front of Warriors and Zelda crossed her arms.

"Who have you brought now Link? More people from portals or traitors?" She asked, staring at Tetra and Link as a predator picking apart its prey.

"No! They are from a portal! Impa saw them come from a portal. Right Impa?" past-Warriors turned towards a sheikah women with a big scar over her left eye, with red eyes. Link instantly recognized Warrior's Impa, however, she was not wielding her giant sword.

Impa merely nodded.

"Well then. What is your names?" Zelda asked, her armor grinding against itself.

"I'm Tetra and that's Link." Tetra said, crossing her arms.

"Oh no, another Link?" A voice asked and Wind started, turning around to see a little floating demon-thing with a helmet of stone. Only one of her eyes were seen and she was mainly black and some grey.

"Uhm. Who..?" Link blinked at the demon. She scoffed.

"I'm Princess Midna, geez. I don't get payed enough. Your almost as bad as my Link." She snorted before sticking her tongue at past-Warriors. "Well, now I am leaving. Good luck with the renaming stuff. I heard that Ravio got some new stuff and I'm hoping to annoy him. He's fun to annoy."

"I think that's mainly Legend's job." Link muttered under his breath as Midna vanished into the crowd of people heading for a big purple tent. Tetra snorted beside me.

"Well, Tetra was it? Follow me and I can show you around while the Link's work on nicknames." Zelda motioned, leading Tetra away. Tetra waved at Link as she was swallowed by the crowd.

"Well, another link. Hi, I'm Link and this is Link." Mini-Time introduced himself and pointed to past-Warriors.

Link nodded. "Yeah I already knew that. Before you ask how, I'm not telling you. So much more fun this way."

mini-Time blinked, staring at Link for a moment. "So all of our names are Link, so we'll need nicknames!"

Past Warriors blinked, then shrugged stiffly. "I've just been calling the squirt Young link. Maybe we could call you Toon link?"

Link frowned, his eyes narrowing in on a patch of ground in front of him. "I mean sure, but like actual nicknames. So if you need to be called someone can't just yell 'Link' and have all three of us come."

Mini-Time shrugged. "I guess you can call Mask? My last adventure had to do with Masks."

Link smiled. "Then you can call me Phantom, since Tetra and I just had defeated Bellum."

Past Warriors stared at them. "Well I'll just go by Link since this is my time period."

"Its settled then. We have Link, Phantom and Mask!"

**

BONUS:

Ravio sighed, staring at the mess Midna made when a clatter was heard. Turning around, he saw Sir Scarf Hero Sir and Mini Link walk in with a familiar third person. Narrowing his eyes, he blinked at the third look-alike Link.

"Ravio, meet Phantom. Phantom meet Ravio." Sir Scarf Hero Sir introduced, pointing to the newcomer.

"Well thank you Sir Scarf Hero Sir!" Ravio cried, motioning Phantom over.

Phantom snorted. "So thats where the nickname came from Warriors?!"

Ravio's eyes nearly bugged out of his head and he felt himself choke. When Phantom was finished laughing, he looked at Ravio curiously with a tilted brow. Sir Scarf Hero Sir and Mini Link was looking at Phantom bewilderingly.

"Wait, who is Warriors..?" Sir Scarf Hero Sir asked, and Phantom and Ravio shook their heads.

"No one in particular!" they shouted in unison. Then stared at each other.

No one moved for a few minutes, before Phantom and Ravio started pointing at each other.

"YOU REMEMBER!" Ravio nearly shouted at the same time Phantom yelled out "OH MY GOD! YOUR THAT RAVIO!"

To say Link and Mask were confused would be an understatement. Mask left after they started to talk about odd things like legend, hyrule, sky, time and a bunch of other stuff. Link just stood there, stuck between questioning how they know each other and why they were acting like long lost friends.
