if they make jj kie a thing then obx will lose what makes it different from all and any other show(which is having all the characters hook up at one point or another) cant a girl and guy in a group friendship who are childhood friends just be best friends and besides she Kiara already multiple time shut down jj so should obx just force them together just because they all are good friends who care about it each other. I’ll say Kie is a lesbian and that’s why she shut jj down and all the boys and she probably kissed pope to see if she felt something and they can explore that in s2. please don’t ruin what makes this show so special which is the heartwarming amazing refreshing friendship of the pogues and the adventures by listening to fandom push pressure by adding un necessary love triangle or teen romance drama don’t want obx to lose their integrity pls and if they have to make a ship I’ll say jj pope that even my muslim dad thought were a couple bc they had way more chemistry then any of the boys and girls if that don’t speak volumes then I don’t know what?.
Also Maddie wants her character to be gay/lesbian so bad wouldn’t it be amazing for her to be able to represent herself in her show with her character. Let kie be the lesbian queen she is meant to be and if they make jira thing then we’ll have a Sarah John B thing all over again where the rich girl falls for the poor guy and they are all pogues now even tho the girls are kooks with money and no real life problems. All I’m saying is don’t give us yet another boring predictable rich girl falls for poor guy with daddy issues trope when we already got John B and Sarah for that. It’ll be boring copy paste.
There are many things that I can cry over when it comes to this scene, but for now I want to focus on this specific detail. It hurts so much that you can see how touched starved this boy is, as soon as he felt Pope’s arms wrapped around him, he leaned into his touch, and dropped the champagne bottle he was holding to touch pope’s bicep, and it’s so delicate like he doesn’t want to hurt anything he holds.
