Like, you mentioned Dust has to hug things or reader to be able to fall asleep, now I’m curious about the others,,, But for some reason I can most definitely see Saint be an insanely light sleeper(don’t blame him for all that bs he and Lunar went through). Like, someone’s walking round the house? He is immediately awake. Reader goes to get a glass of water or sm? He wakes up cause of the change of weight in the bed.

Hello, hi! I'm trying to slowly crawl back into writing again, and since I remembered that it was Swap Sans' birthday yesterday, it inspired me to work on this! I hope you like it!!

Dust: As stated previously, he needs to hold onto something in order to peacefully sleep. When he fully can trust his surroundings, he's quite the heavy sleeper and loves to cling onto whatever he has a hold of. He likes to be warm, and he may purr a little

Vanilla: He can sleep wherever and however, since he is capable of doing so for comedic reasons. If he had a partner, his sleep schedule is so skewed it would be probable that he would fall asleep first any chance he could get. He likes to sort of- curl up, in some sense? He, like Dust, clings onto something but in a less desperate and clingy way. He likes to drape himself around something, if that makes sense? He prefers to cuddle in his sleep, and he drools a little when really comfortable. He likes to be the little spoon, but he is capable of switching it up at times since he just wants to be comfortable no matter what. He purrs loudly, as much as he may act like he never has

Cyperus: He sleeps very soundly and he rarely moves in his sleep. He snores a little, and only seems to purr when you both fall asleep at the same time. He would be great to sleep on as the big spoon, mainly because he's mastered the skill of doing so when he got bigger. (Vanilla and him used to cuddle a lot, it was always super nice bonding :-)) ) He's very punctual about sleeping at an appropriate time and about waking up early. If you're the type to sleep in, he's able to disentangle you from him with ease without waking you up, despite being as loud of a skeleton as he is. He likes to stroke your hair before he leaves, like a little pet as he makes sure you're cozy

Powder: He is similar to Cyperus in a lot of ways, but he is a bit of a lighter sleeper than him. He likes to cuddle no matter if he is the big or little spoon, but he likes the feeling of either. He stirs a bit in his sleep, but that usually just ends up with him finding a way to have you sleeping on his chest. He likes to have a slightly cold body temp when sleeping, so you don't have to worry about him stealing the blanket. He may sometimes wear specific clothes too when you cuddle together so that he doesn't wake up feeling sweaty. He rarely does this, but he may sometimes drool if he's had a long day and you're the perfect thing to sleep on, and he'll purr in appreciation while thanking you

Stretch: He LOVES cuddling, but he's much more shy about it than most. He likes the feeling of being relied on, so when you end up cuddling him he feels really special and happy. He makes sure not to move too much despite his more fidgety nature, usually having a fidget toy on hand if you fall asleep first. He likes being able to place his head on you sometimes though, and he gets really flustered when he does. He struggles going to sleep in general, but you're like a giant plushie for him. He smells really nice, so he naturally is aware that you'll probably feel more drowsy when around him. He doesn't mind if you fall asleep while he rambles, he can look at you when your features are relaxed without fear of looking weird. He purrs when he can cuddle, as much as he's embarrassed about it

Red: He does, in fact, move around a lot. He gets really hot, naturally, but his body temperature isn't used to being naturally cold unless he's asleep. So, while in the process of trying to stay warm and comfortable, he moves around a LOT. He steals the blanket often, snores, and he struggles staying asleep. When you come around, he gets really embarrassed and avoids trying to move around a lot. When he found out, though, that your chest is really soft AND warm? He clung onto you easily. He latches onto you, and he always finds a way to bury his face against you, even when drooling. (Ew/t) He purrs lowly and quietly, but he always denies doing so (he's embarrassed)

Pitch: He's the most similar to Cyperus when it comes to both of their sleeping habits. However, he wakes up in the middle of the night due to nightmares. He may wake up with a start, jolting awake when you least expect it. He doesn't sit up and panic like others may interpret, but you definitely feel when he wakes up. He holds really still, and you can feel how his bones may tremble, if not just a bit. He tries so hard not to wake you up, but if you do, he apologizes in a very formal, soft tone that is very different from his usual voice. He's not very cuddly, but under the blankets, away from prying eyes, his hands find yours for solace. He may just need you to let him stare at you for a bit, may need you to rub your thumb along his skeletal hands. Only then can he go back to sleep, his purring barely audible

Saint: You are very correct when it comes to how he sleeps. He struggles a lot with sleeping in general, and he's a light sleeper due to his paranoia. He senses when you're out of bed, or if something is wrong, due to his ability to read into the finer details. He likes to at least make sure you're close to him when sharing the bed. It had to take a lot to begin with to even be in the same bed, so your relationship would be very strong by then. This is when he's the most clingy, especially since he knows that you trust him enough to even sleep beside him. He's hyper vigilant, and it would be rare to be the one to see him asleep. He drools a little (picked up the pattern yet? Hehehe) and he looks the most relaxed at that state. He likes to stroke your hair when you are asleep, and he likes to stare at you. When he does get to sleep and he can trust his environment, he snores a little. He may struggle staying asleep, but when he's deeply able to sleep, he really loves to curl up with you in his arms. He likes being the either spoon, but he feels the most protective when he's the big spoon and he purrs while pressing his cheek against you

Lunar: Hyper vigilant, holding a lot of hyper tension. Lunar and Saint would take turns sleeping when they were in the underground, never both at the same time. When he's awake, he makes sure you're tucked in. He's very good at soothing, especially since he'd soothe Saint a lot when he struggled to sleep. He likes to rub your back, and he'll speak gently random things until you fall asleep. If he can manage to sleep though at the same time you do (he'd have to absolutely trust his environment completely), he barely stirs. He will sense if you're absent, but otherwise he just seems completely comfortable and relaxed. He places you close to his chest, and he'll have the most quiet of purrs. He would have thought he lost the ability to if it weren't for you

You know how in soulmate AUs sometimes there will be a symbol or first words as a soulmark? could we get soulmark symbols or their first words said to their soulmate maybe? As a treat? It will (probably) soothe you from the twitter trauma

I've always loved the idea of soul marks, especially since I find it cute! I have a general idea of how soulmates would work if we're talking about the main 14 skeletons! Personally, I'm not creative enough to think about what the first words would be for the group of skeletons, BUT I can write what some would be like with the realization of meeting their s/o

I imagine that the soul mark would be something placed on the inner wrist or side of the neck for the skeletons! It can be placed anywhere depending on the monster, but these guys have similar anatomy to us so it'd make sense.

Something that looks as faint as a small, ingrained soul is the proper marking that all monsters possess. It barely looks something akin to a tattoo, barely visible and dull to the average onlooker. Monsters naturally can see it, but Humans don't even realize that they have this so called mark.

However, what would make it unique is that these markings have the ability to start glowing when in close proximity to their destined soulmate, glowing brighter and hotter. What tends to happen is that when both parties are aware of this said marking, they will often feel the tugging sensations that go with their souls being in closer proximity. For Monsters, it's easier as they continue to spend time together and get to see their souls glowing brighter.

I find it funny to think the skeletons would pick it up so much easier, especially since they're in tune with their souls as much as they are. I imagine that when meeting YN, each would have unique emotions towards this realization or at least responses!

Vanilla: He's the best at hiding how he would feel once he encounters YN. He could run into them at Grillbys, at the store, in a park, anywhere really. He'll treat them like any other friend or companion, trying to get you to laugh as he's keeping his hands in his pockets or subtly rubbing the hand he shook your hand with as he feels that tingling, hot sensation on his wrist. He's trying so hard not to stare at his wrist, to see if he's actually watching what he believes is occurring right before his eyes. When he's done meeting you and having to go back home, he just doesn't say anything as he keeps what happens to himself. It's not until he realizes that you're the soulmate of someone else as well that he even says anything to begin with

Cyperus: He didn't mean to bump into you but he can't help the way he rubs his neck when he awkwardly tries to not panic right in front of you. He would stutter and feel less confident in what he says, feeling this desperate need to just wrap you in his arms and shout that you're the one. Of course, he just comes off as a dork, which he wished he didn't since in his opinion he needed to look cool. He practically runs home and debates telling anyone, but he can't hold his secret when Vanilla asks him what's up before he's shaking his brother and screaming. He feels like he may never speak to you again after he practically forgot to ask you your name, or if you're from around the area. But of course, as luck would have it, you live nearby, and he promptly and bravely-! Hides. He's just planning what to do next time he sees you and speaks to you is all!! It's not running away! It's planned out action!!

Powder: He has the skill of Vanilla but the internal panic of Cyperus. The poor fool wouldn't even have to look at his wrist to know that you're the one, the sensation of hot, tingling excitement in his soul and on his wrist tells him everything. He does everything he can to make you laugh when meeting you, trying to come off as confident despite the way his face is as blue as his scarf. He would at least try to keep it to himself and he can believe that who he saw was his soulmate. However, it'd slip one day and he's already trying to lie his way out of what he said. He hopes to meet you again, unlike Cyperus since he actively goes out of his way to find you again instead. He's a bit better at acting like he's in control of his feelings, despite the way he may stutter or hesitate to touch you after he meets you again

Stretch: Oh buddy. As a skeleton already stuttering, he can barely form sentences at first. He switches his words, stumbles a bit, and even stares longer than he means to when he meets you. His soul is practically singing, his hand his rubbing his neck with each laugh he gives. It's obvious to you that he's awkward, but you find it endearing and just chalk up the blush as him feeling embarrassed rather than attracted to you. When he's home he doesn't even stop to greet anyone, trying to sneak off to his room before he's caught and already stuttering out what happened in a panic. Unlike his brother, he would be mulling over why he had to look so dorky in front of you! Surely you wouldn't want to see him again after that! But he's screwed the next time he sees you, already knowing that he's going to be interacting with you for longer than he expected

Red: Oh. oh. It's you. He just happened to be in the area when he felt it. The way his wrist feels hot and how the mark is glowing before he shoved his hands in his pockets. He can't look you in the eye, his tough guy persona already failing when he asks you if you're alright since you seemed to accidentally have dropped something. He's mumbling a bit, his jokes making him feel more dumb when he fucks it up before he gets to the punchline. That alone gets you to laugh though, your nervousness around him already peeling away with each layer of his scary appearance giving way. He doesn't linger like the others, just willing to let your conversation with him end. He's better at asking you if you're new to the town with how easily he can tell, something he takes note of before giving you some advice and leaving. He's internally freaking out, slightly frustrated because this is something he doesn't know how to deal with. He's not telling anyone, not even to brag that he found someone as pretty and kind as you. The only way someone would find out is when he's venting to Grillby and is given advice to talk to you again when he gets the chance. Just maybe he won't fuck it up?

Pitch: Ah, of course the handsome and talented skeleton would meet you conveniently when he can help you out. Hes so distracted with trying to come off as confident, talented, and impressive to you that he doesn't realize he kind of looks pretentious or at least arrogant. He's been trying to be better at that, so when he sees the way you react to his grandiose speech he knows immediately to apologize the best he can. He clears his throat and mutters that he didn't mean to seem so self absorbed, and that he just wanted you to know since he wanted to prove to you that he had the situation under control after helping you get away from another monster that was bothering you. As he does so, he finds a strange itching on his neck, only to feel the heat beneath his gloves as his expression gives one of a sudden stunned horror. Was this why he felt so scrutinized under your stare? Why he takes your expression as a failure on his part? He excuses himself and just tries to get away from the situation after his apology before instructing you to get home safely before he's already fleeing, not allowing you to even say goodbye. He's tugging his scarf and grumbling by the time he's home, stomping his foot, and so easily overwhelmed the moment Red asks him what's wrong. He's almost exactly like Cypress as he grabs his brother and shakes him, falling to his knees as he dramatically places his gloved hands over his face and mulling over his failure until he plans next to meet you again. Though...he does avoid you the best he can since he thinks he just failed before he could even put in the effort to make it up to you.

I did ponder to keep typing down my headcanons for other skeletons but I decided to stop before this post became too long. I may make some more character headcanons but thats for another time. I got asks to answer >:)

Powder:

- He wasn't sure what it was when he first met you, but he was quick to detect that you were someone he wanted to befriend.

- His guard is lowered in your presence, and he's content with this information. After all, you're just so...good to be around

- He is a bit more protective of you than he realizes, especially when he sees you talking with someone that he doesn't like

- Every small, minuscule touch you give is something that sends jolts through him, and it excites him. He tends to even find ways just to feel contact with you

- He doesn't notice how shy and nervous he gets around you, but when it's pointed out he'll act like it's nonsense. He's just so giddy around you and shy, his confidence wavers in your presence

- Please, if you're stressed about something, he'll handle it for you. He wants to take care of you, pamper you even with words of affirmation. No one as wonderful as you should feel incompetent or bad about something when you simply need someone to support you

- He's oblivious to how he feels for most of the time up until he realizes that he likes you, but he won't take initiative since he doesn't want to scare you or ruin anything. He won't even mention soulmates to you, let alone comment on things that could imply that he's thinking about you romantically

Carmine:

- He's very in tune with his emotions and when he felt that first wave of attraction, he thought that something was wrong with him. His soul just tugged right against his ribcage and he knew something was off

- He's more guarded around you because he doesn't like losing control of his emotions, and he tends to keep his distance at first since that's his biggest defense. However, when you are around? His stress feels lighter and his body feels fuzzy

- He's the quickest to be defensive for you about something, protective to the degree he is with Rus. His soul tells him that it can trust what you say, and he's willing to listen to his soul on the matter. Even if he throws quick quips at someone, he'll intimidate them in order to make someone not bother you anymore

- He's already standoffish about touch, but the first time your hand placed itself on his shoulder in consolation and concern, that feeling was there again and he feels nervous about how addicting the sensation is. He won't ever pull away, but he won't initiate it and he gets more unsure when it's not just the two of you

- He wants to know more about you, try to figure out why he feels so good around you. He's so oblivious even if he's one of the quickest to detect that you clearly have a sway on him and his emotions. He won't bring up soulmates to you, but it's something he analyzes so hard about

Razz:

- Like Powder, he's going to find ways to stop you from getting overworked. He'll scold you if you push yourself too hard and he'll finish tasks for you even if you insist that you can do it yourself. He's capable and subconsciously he feels that he should show you that fact as a way to let you rely on him more

- He felt disoriented when meeting you, as if you were a balm to the chaos of his soul and mind. He always falters in your presence and you have the ability to suddenly get him to listen

- He made it obvious he wanted to be around you, going so far as to outright shove the other Sanses in order to get closer

- A touch from you is a breath within his nonexistent lungs. Not quite a jolt, but something that feels cold and warm all at once. He's addicted to it, and he's much more open about touching you when he can and when you allow it. He's almost needy

- He's been made fun of for being on his best behavior when you're around, but he was quick to realize why he feels this way around you. He's not as obsessive about why he feels a certain way in comparison to Carmine, even if he denies it for awhile, and so he's able to guess that you're...his. This is why he wants to be good for you

- He will be outright nasty to anyone that bothers you, confronting them and demanding that they apologize. You don't deserve that treatment, and he's going to make them see that

- He's definitely the jealous type, but he gets embarrassed about it since he already struggles with how he feels so much for you. He won't ever confess his feelings unless you coax it out of him, and even then he's frustrated with himself. Still, he'll apologize if he sees that he's upsetting you. He's not the best at it, but he'll try. For you.

Please please please do you have any other headcanons or scenarios or absolutely anything with Powder? I love your interpretation of him so much!!! The words slip past his teeth before he could think, but it seems to be so natural of him to ask. Your focus is quickly plucked away by his voice, so soothing and calm. It's a shame that he asked, especially right now. Oh stars above, you wished you didn't want to cry.

"yeah! Y-yeah I'm....I'm fine, why do you ask?"

You sound as stupid as you feel, and you can tell Powder noticed the way you stuttered immediately. You've never been good at hiding your feelings from him, but you still tried, even if he was looking at you with a scrunched up brow. "ARE YOU SURE?"

"Of course! Seriously, I'm fine, hah-! I was just zoning out."

You try again, this time your lips curving into a false smile as you let out a laugh that felt too forceful. He doesn't answer you, his gaze flickering over to the side. He doesn't have to say anything to know that he recognizes that tone of voice you're using. It's the same one he's used dozens of times before, and the same one he'll use again in the future.

And yet, you see that his furrowed brow eases somewhat, a flicker of softness amidst your turmoil. You're feeling left out, aren't you? His frown slips into a tender smile, and you feel an arm wrap around you as you're pulled against his side. You can't help but shudder against his touch, as subtle as a sensation it was.

"OKAY," He says, the word slow and off-putting on his tongue. He didn't want to let it go, but he was going to for your sake. "DO YOU MIND IF I SIT WITH YOU THEN?" The question is innocent enough, and none of the others paid enough attention to either of you to see the way his phalanges gently rub your arm.

He hears the subtle, shaky breath that escapes you, feels the subtly of your body melting against his side. "N-No, I don't mind. Not at all," you mutter, and your head eases against his chest as his touch trails to rub your shoulder.

In times like these, you couldn't help but appreciate when he noticed that something was wrong, even if you weren't ready to admit it. He didn't pry, not too much, and you appreciated that. He looked at you as his phalanges traced patterns on your shoulder, down your back as he could find all the points of tension in your joints.

"GOOD," He mumbled, "I WAS STARTING TO GROW BORED WHEN I NOTICED YOU WEREN'T PARTICIPATING WITH US." That statement sounded so sincere, and you didn't want to admit how that made a tugging sensation develop in your chest. You looked up at him, and your voice came out strained as you felt a flicker of softness. "Yeah?" "OF COURSE,"

He coaxes you to stand up as he turns to the others, and you don't pay too much attention to what he says as he seems to be making an excuse. You see some of the others glance in your direction with concern, mainly Carmine, who gave you a pointed look, but you just nod your head and he let's it go.

By the time the two of you are walking off outside of the house, you feel slightly dazed since you weren't in the best of moods. He took your hand in his own, and you followed him as he approached the parked vehicles outside. This caused your face to contort, confused. "What are we doing?"

He turns to look at you for a moment, before he turns his skull back to where his motorcycle is parked. The sleek, blue exterior was inviting, but you still were reluctant. "I'M GOING TO TAKE YOU OUT ON A DRIVE, IS ALL!" He promptly stated, as if it were obvious. "YOU NEED TO GET SOME AIR, YOU HAVEN'T REALLY LEFT THE HOUSE IN AWHILE, AND I CAN TELL YOU NEED TO."

You give him an incredulous look, but he looks serious. "I'm fine, really I am..." "TRUST ME, JUST LET ME TAKE YOU INTO TOWN FOR A BIT. I PROMISE THAT THE MOMENT YOU WANT TO GO HOME, WE CAN, OKAY?" He's already grabbing his helmet, but he's placing it over your head as he speaks. His eyelights lock with yours, and you see how they dilate as he tilts his head at you.

He's speaking a bit more softly for you, and you know that he's not stupid. He wants to distract you for a bit. You want to tell him again that really, you're fine. Sure, you felt left out today. And sure, you've been sort of out of it since you've struggled leaving the house the past few days. But then again...

"You promise?"

"PROMISE."

He nods his head vigorously, letting you adjust the helmet as his smile grows twice as big. You can't help but want him to take initiative, and you appreciate that he's doing just that. You both knew that you needed it, and that the fresh air was going to make you feel better.

You let out a huff of a laugh despite yourself, but he's already helping you get on the motorcycle as he's in front, your hands trailing down his back to properly wrap around him, your face pressed against the curve of his spine where you can feel his ecto body already formed for you. He felt slightly squishy, but firm and...safe. He doesn't mention how he can feel your stress almost shedding off your shoulders, his shoulders rolling forward as he keeps his eyes up front.

"YOU WON'T REGRET THIS,"

Receiving:

- Acts of Service: 27%. He does a lot for others, so it feels nice to have someone relieve him of stress from time to time and do things to help. Offering a way to help by even just gently taking his hands, telling him to sit down, and letting you take care of something feels relieving. He's always so exhausted, at some point he just really needs that help

- Words of Affirmation: 23%. He wants to be told he's appreciated, he already suffers from imposter syndrome. Having someone tell him that he's enough would mean a lot, or just confirming that you love him is nice. He doesn't show that he experiences much anxiety or insecurity, but he feels more vulnerable and loved when you promise that you really do love him: even when hes not servicing others

- Physical Touch: 20%. He loves any form of physical affection, but to have someone be ready to leap into his arms really makes his soul flutter just thinking about it. It doesn't even have to be much. Gentle caresses of the arm, a rub on the back, a kiss on the cheek... Stars above, wouldn't that feel nice

- Quality Time: 20%. Show that you enjoy being around him! He didn't have many people spend their time hanging out with him back underground, and he wants to get away from his duties even if it's just for a little bit. He loves just doing things with you, and he will believe that you do too if you can show that you go out of your way to actually hang out with him

- Receiving Gifts: 10%. Gifts to him show that someone thought about him enough, and that in of itself makes him feel good. He can tell when someone puts thought into his gift, especially when he senses their intent within it. He keeps it safe, and is extremely grateful since not many monsters or humans have gone out of their way for him.

Giving:

- Acts of Service: 33%. Let him help you! Sure, he does a lot, but he feels useful that way. He wants to provide, to care for someone. When it's not out of necessity, just being able to handle your laundry or being able to drive you somewhere, all of it feels just good to do because he loves you

- Words of Affirmation: 20%. The moment he hears someone belittle themselves or do something good, he always makes sure to affirm them with praise. He doesn't want anyone else to feel like shit, and he wants people to know he's there for them. He will praise your skills, comment on how you're honest and that it's a good thing. He'll tell you how much he loves things about you, more on you as a person over your physical looks. To him, the soul matters more

- Physical Touch: 20%. He's not afraid to pick someone up, to carry them around and treat them like royalty. He'll kiss your cheek and nuzzle against you, grinning the whole time. He'll snatch an opportunity to touch whenever he can. He's not as bad as the other skeletons inside the house, but he is comfortable enough to hold your hand when you need reassurance or willing to offer a hug when you need it

- Quality Time: 17% Sometimes he gets too busy doing things around the house or at work, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't want to spend time with you. He just needs to work on balancing that, since he's always used to being busy. He'll try to at least take you out to do something. If you communicate that you miss spending time with him, you bet your ass he's going to feel giddy that someone even misses him. He'll always find a way to make time for you, even if he looks like a dork sometimes

- Receiving Gifts: 10%. He wants to pamper you with gifts that reminded him of you, to show that he thought about you while away from home. He wants you to have something from him while he's away, a reminder that he loves you even if he's not with you at that moment.

When you two first start hanging out, the two of you meet when you accidentally trip and almost fall face first into the ground rushing somewhere. He would have grabbed you by the waist, while the other grabbed you by the hand to spin you around. Consider it a low dip of him spinning you around before he smoothly lifts you up. He would ask if you were okay, ask if you needed help. He would've found it almost cute when you blushed, but he wouldn't comment on it and instead offer any assistance he could. When he finds out that you're rushing somewhere, he'd offer to take you on his motorcycle and swiftly drop you off. He'd wave to you, smiling and saying goodbye. He'd think about you on the way home, but he wouldn't mention you other than that he had to help some pretty person today... When you meet again, he's surprised but welcoming. He's overall very helpful, always picking things up after you if you're accidentally clumsy. He's kind, playful, and overall he doesn't really realize that he eventually starts to fall for you. He doesn't really realize what is happening, but he does know that he finds you just really pleasant overall to be around.

As time continues, he starts to realize that he prefers to go places if you can join him. He realizes that he thinks about you when you're not around, and that if you were there...well, then he wouldn't feel so off. He just feels like he's still having fun, but your presence would just make it much better. He goes out of his way to try and fit you into his plans, eagerly coaxing you to join when he knows you need it. He's acutely aware of moments you feel left out or uncomfortable, and he actively starts to talk to you as a result of it. He's not going to be the first one to fall in love with you, but he definitely is the fastest Sans to befriend you other than Vanilla. He values your friendship, and he sometimes wonders if he's doing a good job.

He would need time to realize the moment he's in love. In fact, he'd be rambling to someone else and as he's doing so, he starts to falter as he starts thinking about you in more intimate ways. Like how he enjoys seeing you smile, and how he wishes he could just cup your face and-.... He'd suddenly find that his eyelights shrunk at the realization, his body stiff. Really, this wasn't supposed to happen.

He'd be uncomfortable with the realization. He doesn't want to ruin anything, especially since he doesn't think you'd see him that way to begin with. You're wonderful, and he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable if he ever confessed to you. After all, what if he ruined it?? Oh stars above why can't he act normal around you now? He'd get embarrassed a lot more...

When he confesses, it can be a rather cute one to be honest. The two of you would be roller skating, spinning around and having a good time. Stretch would be at the tables, along with the others who decided to join the activity. Everyone is having a fun time, and he feels flushed as he is the one to help you when you are just starting to get the hang of it. Suddenly, he would have gotten too distracted with you, slipping as he's about to land roughly on the ground. Out of a moment of quick thinking, you'd grab his hand and slip an arm around his waist. You'd spin around, your body feeling light as you try to make sure both of you stabilize with the power of momentum. You would feel lightheaded with the spin, but eventually the two of you would stabilize as your spin slows and you help him raise his body back up. Somehow, neither of you fall. He'd look at you a little breathless, a soft sound escaping him as he smiles. "A-ah- looks like you caught me this time, huh?" He'd be blue in the face, blushing wildly as the two of you are breathless and slightly giggling to one another. But humorously, you both slip and land the moment you feel your bodies start to relax. It's a bit embarrassing, but you both are okay. Afterwards, everyone would be getting ready to go home after everyone is wiped out from the activity. You two would be sitting in the backseat, and quietly you two would exchange small glances. Everyone parks at the house, getting out quickly and heading inside. You two take a bit longer, and get to talking.

You're both laughing and talking about how nice today was and without too much thought he accidentally slips a confession. "I didn't realize I would literally fall in love with you like that." And you'd be confused as he says it. You'd ask him to repeat what he said, but he's suddenly more flushed as he realizes his mistake. He'd start rambling, trying to play it off as he starts saying how that was a joke. Of course, that was a joke. That's not saying he wouldn't ever fall in love with you because you clearly are absolutely the embodiment of an ideal partner but he's your friends and friends don't fall in love with their friends do they? You're quite loveable and yeah sure he thinks about how amazing you are and how he wishes to sometimes have you to himself but that's normal! Right? He's not in love with you, he's just joking because if anyone could get him to fall in love it'd be someone like you! Or rather-...no one else but you... But-

He wouldn't expect to feel your hands cupping his cheeks, tilting his head as you lean forward and kiss him into silence. A tingling jolt would shoot through the both of you, your lips feeling a slight hum of magic due to the kiss. You'd pull away slowly, his eyelights shrinking into what you notice are small hearts. You'd try to calm him down, not letting go of his cheeks as you mutter how you love him too. You'd call him a dork, and feel as his body releases tension to the point he almost droops. He'd smile real big, his eyelights dilating as he softly mutters that yeah...he is a dork. Thank you....

The two of you would go back inside the house hand in hand, and clearly some skeletons can tell what happened. Someone teases you, someone teases him, but it's all lighthearted. You can't stop blushing, and you find that your lips feel a tingling sensation still due to the magic as you gently press your fingers to your lips. That was...wonderful.

As a lover, he's not used to being able to relax, but he appreciates being able to just be near you. He lets his guard down around you, but he tends to stress out when he's unsure of how to relax in a situation. Just remember that he needs a bit more reassurance, and you'll be okay. Hes never dated before, he doesn't want to mess anything up. Thank you for being there for him.

He'll set plans to take you on dates, active ones at least. He'd take you on more physically active dates, making sure it's a fun activity for the both of you. He's playful and he is willing to pamper you, obviously he thinks you deserve it. On dates, it can almost feel much lighter, as you both already had an established friendship beforehand. It just feels twice as good now

He can be protective as well, professional about it since he was part of the Royal Guard. He will rarely need to get physical, especially since he's more skilled in de-escalating the problem. He can slip in the situation with almost a sincere "oblivious" nature, getting the person bothering you disoriented. He will wrap an arm around your waist, pulling you close as he makes them uncomfortable by all the questions he starts to ask.

Afterwards, once they're gone, he'll ask if you're alright but he won't get all flustered trying to check up on you. He's rather calm in this manner, and he makes sure you can relax afterwards. If that means he takes you somewhere as a distraction, then so be it. He will only mention it again after you feel better, when your mind is more clear. He tries his best for you, he's okay with the fact that you may also need him when vulnerable. After all, he's your mate, and he wants to do right by you

Closing Notes: I was struggling how to write this one, since I wanted a good balance of being a dork but still being well- him. I mayyyy have actually given him a confession that was way different than the Fell Brothers, but I think it's suitable in this context. Later on, I want to be able to explore dynamics when I finally indulge in that "omg I'm dating all of them??" Trope. (Okay don't judge me bro I love me some self indulgent stuff and this is MY account.) I also want to explore later on about the first time your souls are shared with each skeleton!
