Beautifully written with empathy for our beloved characters, this fic is a freakin’ hidden gem. It takes place over a summer earlier in the 7yr gap and contains the origin story of how Phoenix meets Athena. It has fantastic and smart dialogue written with humour and savvy. I fell in love a couple of times over the 4 chapters with the characters and the writer’s voice. Highly recommended.
