Why is it that Roy Harper fan fiction doesn’t seem to exist without some relationship pairing involved? Or if he isn’t in a romantic relationship he’s a background character and the actual focus is another hero’s angst? Or if it is a romantic relationship it’s just smut??! (I get it, it’s Roy, but please)

I hate, hate golden trio bashing fics. They have such a ride-and-die friendship like bro they raided a bank together then fled on a dragon they stuck together through so much — while having fights like normal friends do, but the best thing about them? They get back together. No matter what. Thus, coming out of a literal war in one piece, together; if that doesn't tell you how much they love each other then I don't know what to tell you.

a few days ago I saw a video of this girl talking to a half Korean guy on omegle and he was criticizing Koreans for being racist and the girl replies with "no that's not the case Korea is a good country" miss ma'am have you visited that country? do you know what it feels like to live there? No? But you have watched some shows and you like bts so you have made this fairytale image of that country and you refuse to believe the reality.

South Koreans are racist. The beauty standards are harmful for the whole society and the fans need to grow up and understand that. Most of you don't even like the music you just love the visuals they are selling you! YOU ALL ARE WALKING A VERY THIN LINE BETWEEN APPRECIATING AND FETISHIZING and don't even give me that "they'll grow up and learn, let people enjoy whatever they like, they are teenagers" no I won't let it be. I got to know about bts when I was 13 (I am almost 20 now) through a friend, it was before bts was so popular and even then I knew how toxic the beauty standards were in South Korea, I knew the idols weren't the reality, so should all of you.

"It's just music it's harmless" no it's not just music and the music isn't even the problem it's the artificial natural beauty they are selling, my 11 yr old cousin came up to me and said "look didi Lisa is so pretty and it's all natural why don't I have skin like her?" and I had to tell her and explain with proof how much work most of these idols have got done. they are not even treated as artists or even humans, THEY ARE TREATED AS PRODUCTS with shelf life - not allowed to eat, not allowed to date or say anything that might make them look less than perfect

Most of the k-pop idols are starving themselves, so many of them pass out at the end of the shows and still I see videos on YouTube like "trying the k-pop idol diet" "k-pop idol workout" "how to get korean glass skin" Like!?!? How stupid are these people? Do they not know the impact it can have on impressionable kids?

What are you refering to specifically when you say women harm other women and they're fully aware of their actions as they do it. That they aren't unaware they just dont care (until it hits home for them)

I think that women who harm other women & uphold/engage in patriarchal structures at the detriment of other women tend to be infantilised by feminists & feminist aligned women. MaIe identified womens actions tend to be excused under the guise of "they don't know", "it's internal misogyny", or "they're just trying to survive", etc whenever they're criticised & held accountable for their actions. These women aren't stupid, they're aware of the misogynistic world we're in & the consequences of their actions. Many of these women only care a little when things backfire.

Freindly reminder that you can't hate men without being queerphobic. You can't think men are inherently more dangerous, violent or sexual, or any of the other things people say about men without being inherently queerphobic.

You can't think these things about men without branding mlm as outsiders who will always be unwholesome and dangerous without women to "civilize" them.

You can't think these things about men without thinking of wlw who are more masculine as being inherently lesser for being like men.

You can't think these things about men without making most transfems seem suspect for having masculine traits, or forcing trans women to prove themselves female enough to be valid.

You can't think these things about men without telling transmascs that they are inherently degrading themselves by transitioning, or forcing them to deny their transition to be supported.

You can't think these things about men without basically calling all enbies female, and then calling all masc enbies dangerous.

You can't think these things about men without easing aspec men and/or calling their identities into question.

You can't think these things about men without basically telling intersex people they don't exist, and making intersex women feel lesser for having male traits.

If you hate men you will hate every letter in the LGBTQIA for having traits in common with men. Feminism that views men as the enemy will inevitably be Feminism only for cishet women.

Sasuke deserved justice, closure, comfort and genuine happiness not whatever bullshit character conclusion he was given where all the injustice he faced was swept aside and forgotten. I can’t believe people think he’s genuinely changed for the better in boruto when really his character has been completely butchered 

i dont think this should need to be said but i feel like it's time for a periodic reminder that if your feminism/politics are exclusionary of sex workers and kinksters or other vaguely defined "weird people" you're a shithead and i have no interest in having you around. you cannot build a just society primarily built around the exclusion of specific groups, that just makes you a fascist. same thing goes for prison abolitonists who still want to reserve the right to kill certain "gross" or "wrong" people rather than actually investing in rehabilitative community justice.
