A thought inspired by this post on Toshiro getting something out of his chestplate her bra
There's this one video where Katya Zamolodchikova (drag queen) is talking about how after a function she went to shower and instead of taking off her wig she just clipped it, realised afterwards that taking it off would've been easier, but didn't because she felt ✨like a girl✨
And I'm just thinking. wow, Toshiro's final egg cracker being Falin but really there were fractures put there by aaaaall of the girls in her life lol.
(gonna use he/him below since I think it transmits the concept I'm going for better)
Imagine Toshiro, age 15, sees Hien take something out of her chest bandages for the first time. Goes, woah, that's smart actually. Copies her.
Then pauses.
Marvels briefly at the "✨like a girl✨" feeling,
But they're in the middle of work so the moment passes and they go back to work.
Takes another 11 years and probably a couple other -isms adopted from Maizuru, Beni, and maybe even Namari before the realization hits.
I wonder How Shuro would feel about Falin's and Laios' Parents, especially their father.
Shuro and Falin have an underrated dynamic if you know he genuinely cared about her as a person and I don't mean this in a shipping sense. I wonder how to explore their relationship
Both Shuro and Laios do not want to be like their respective fathers too I believe, his relationship with the Touden siblings is like a mirror into himself and what he wants to be.
Shuro is a Conflict avoidant and Laios cannot Read Social Cues, That is where their issues began from personal experience.
The Fight between them was honestly just gonna be the end result but it finally broke down the wall between them and they can be friends for like real this time
Something 'Intersting' to bring back home
Since Shuro Likes bugs, and I like to headcanon him as a trans egg, I like to imagine him transitioning like metamorphoses. Shedding his skin, whatever crawls out is his new form.
I also think him coming back to his father as a woman might get him his inheritance, albiet he doesn't expect it to work like that lol. But its just my own idea of how it the story would go and I'm not apposed to different directions
Whether he transitions with mundane stuff like clothes and makeup, or Body Altering Magic is up to you. What matters is how he gets to that form, ask what would make him do it instead of if he would.
I made a laishuro/laishiro playlist cause the brainrot is very severe and I must spread it to the masses. (plus I might make more playlists just for dungeon meshi in general)
Love how after Shuro and Laios get in a fistfight in episode 17, the healers take care of the injuries and even deaths of literally everyone else, but leave those two a beat-up mess. Their injuries are the fault of their own stupidity, so now they just have to suffer.

i dont know if anyone else sees it that way, but i love manga shuro's constant uncomfortable frown. just absolutely embarrassed to be anywhere, especially with his nanny and support group tagging along
