Curate, connect, and discover
A lot of times, due to either a lack of knowledge, or just plain ignorance, many dogs might get diseases or even pregnant due to their owner not taking the responsibility of getting them vaccinated/neutered. They're abandoned and left on the streets to fend for themselves, unable to understand why their owners have left them.
This is stuff everybody should be aware about, but I'm making this PSA specifically for the woy fandom because we've had an ongoing problem with somebody in the fandom who very much appears to be fetish mining. This user is VERY active & outgoing in the fandom and they constantly send people fanart—and try to get people to draw them the same kind of fanart—that has the recurring theme of tentacles/bondage, yandere, & characters sweating/shaking in fear.
---
The user being discussed in this post is wanderfan2000. I am NOT naming her to get her shamed/harassed - if you send any hate and harassment her way, you're an absolute dirtball. I am only naming her because there are serious & credible allegations of inappropriate behavior (suspected fetish mining) on her part, so I want for people to be able to exercise caution around her!
For additional background: wanderfan2000 is known for constantly talking to people about her obsession with The Lonely Planet, and for being fixated with Wander being wrapped up in Planet Janet's vines or in any situation that makes him visibly anxious/terrified (e.g. she also has a thing for depictions of Wander being hunted by the Phantomines from The Heebie Jeebies.) She also goes to people who she knows are underage to ask them to discuss or draw these things for her...
A minor she's interacted with in this way sent me the following messages & screenshots and asked that I share them under the condition that I keep their account name censored for their protection. This person is underage and was still approached by wanderfan2000 to draw what we're afraid was a thinly-veiled request for fetish art. Here are the testimonies I've been asked to share:
(The context behind me getting this ask is that I made a post the other day talking about how scared I was that a certain "somebody" - I was nervous to name her at the time because part of me still wanted to give benefit of the doubt - was an active fetish miner in the fandom. After seeing my post, they came into my inbox to share their experience with wanderfan2000 and the disconcerting interactions they've had with her.)
I don't have any other screenshots because, quite frankly, I don't have the stomach to hunt down additional evidence, but I've also witnessed wanderfan2000 hitting up fans of all ages to engage in roleplays with her, which, even if she keeps her roleplays on here 100% G-rated, is a huge red flag in and of itself bc she likes to RP stuff about Wander and Janet/yanderes, which are the very things she's suspected of fetish mining for. Either way, it's evident that she doesn't establish boundaries for interacting with underage fans bc she discusses & requests the same things from them that she does with adults, which is not safe.
---
The only person who can know for a fact whether or not wanderfan2000 was fetish mining people for her own gratification is wanderfan2000 herself. (Once again, DO NOT HARASS WANDERFAN2000 OVER THIS.) Sometimes it's easy to figure out whether or not this is going on, and sometimes, due to the nature of it relying entirely on plausible deniability, it can be incredibly hard to tell if someone is fetish mining. I can't speak for her intentions, but I will say that wanderfan2000's art posts and patterns of behavior show major signs of her having a fetish. So on that note, if you feel that wanderfan2000 or anyone else is fetish mining people, DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM. DO NOT SEND THEM HATE MAIL OR OTHERWISE HARASS THEM. SIMPLY BLOCK/IGNORE THEM. Warn anyone you think they might be taking advantage of, if need be, and leave it at that. Don't be afraid to block or say no to somebody who's making you feel uncomfortable online - and I don't just mean in these types of contexts. Again, your safety should always come first, and if you ever get a bad feeling about someone or about a situation, you have no obligation to tough it out if your gut is telling you something's wrong! It's always okay to disengage. You ALWAYS have the right to say you're uncomfortable with something.

Wanderfan2000 made a post in response to the original PSA warning about her behavior, and we talked about what the problem was in the post replies. I didn't get any screenshots of her individual replies to me on there because she kept deleting and rewriting them each time I added a new point, but there is another post, here, where we talked some more in the notes; you can look there for more of her comments. I'm sharing this because I think it's important for people to know that she's acknowledged the allegations, shared her side, and promised to fix her behavior so she doesn't cause people harm. The decision to believe her side of the story and trust that she'll be mindful of others going forward is up to each of you, and the choice to accept her apology is solely up to the people she's hurt.

Apologies for how long this post has gotten, but hopefully this can help people inform themselves on how to stay safe from fetish mining and other forms of explotative behavior online. Maybe this can even bring awareness to people who might be engaging in similar behaviors so they can self-reflect and stop themselves from potentially victimizing anybody, too. Remember that being mindful of other people's comfort and consent is ALWAYS important.
Stay safe, everybody.
Hi, people of the internet.
As I was scrolling endlessly through my feed today, I realized things that have changed in this app and I thought I could make a point of it for the newcomers and see if my opinion was echoed here.
I've been using this app for several years, had various blogs starting when I was 13, on which I posted regularly, which marks 6 years now and lately I feel like people have gotten a lot more aggressive on here.
It's a secret to nobody that there's always some beefs between fandoms, but I always witnessed this more lightly here and way more heavily on TikTok or Instagram from examples. I thought that Tumblr was an app relatively safe for fandoms and what some would call "weird" fans and was a sort of continuation of what DeviantArt and fanfiction.net was for us before.
I was pretty surprised when I saw an account today made purposefully to insult a character and his fans, behaviours like this should be condemned. The hateful capitalist colonisation of apps made for certain demographics of people and especially fandoms is a disgusting thing. Should it be by AI "fancontent" or disheartening hateful posts, this should not be accepted. This is not accepted. People are not machines and they like whatever the fuck they chose to like as long as it doesn't touch the integrity of other people.
Easy: another creator likes something you find weird, but it doesn't affect you or doesn't concern you? Ignore it.
And it's the same kind of stupid shit happening with other social media fans asking for 'dislike' buttons on AO3. Fandom and fancontent is a gift which you can choose to ignore. Don't shame other people for it.
If you don't like 'weird people' with 'weird interests' and aesthetics, don't download apps full of 'weird people' with 'weird interests' and aesthetics.
Maybe I sound 100 years old right now, but I'm very disgusted to see that hateful behaviors are reaching yet another platform that I thought was a safe haven for fans, and especially for the younger ones of us trying to find a community in which they belong (referring to hate comments found under fury posts).
Anyways, Berry out.
They sure don’t.
(—I’ll do a happy version of this later, since it’s two sides of one coin. ;) )

Anon suggested that I screenshot the ask because they forgot to add a / behind the @ of the user.
I've briefly looked into the situation and I do not know the people involved personally. However, I came across their blog about 4 days ago after they made one batshit callout post about the user @/shotapiss. That steaming dog turd of a post was and still is enough for me to keep a very safe distance from Angel.
I can confirm that they do, in fact, not only throw around buzzwords like they'd get paid for it but also death wishes, misgendering of the people involved and horrendous amounts of ableism.
Report and block!
This is a warning post for @/kallulily regarding an incident she was in that happened in January of this year. This is being brought up right now because Kallulily is modding for the Kirby Gijinka Rainbow Zine (as Mod Paintra), a large event in the Kirby community. As this incident happened on Twitter/X it’s not well known here and many continue to support Kallulily without knowing her morals or actions.
Trigger warnings for grooming, abuse, and mentions of NSFW, rape, feral, and incest content in certain links
The incident concerns Kallulily’s friend @/splitser on tumblr and @/splitsterart on twitter (known as “Mod”) being called out for grooming someone starting when the victim was 15 and they were 19-20. A callout was made for this. There were two docs made, both shown in the X link below, with one being explicit, and one being a censored version. Warning for mentions or explicit screenshots of NSFW, rape, feral, incest content being exposed to minors, depending on the document https://x.com/RustyDoodleBot/status/1749553958920577093
Mod would later put out a response to this callout. Despite claiming they don’t condone their own behavior, they gave the excuse of the minor “insisted on seeing [Mod’s] NSFW material”, dismissing their own blame from their inappropriate actions towards minors.
In the document they portrayed the victim, named Hoco, as the one who made THEM uncomfortable, despite Mod being the adult in the relationship who accepted/continued/sometimes even initiated the advances. Mod ultimately held more power in their dynamic, they could have cut the relationship at any moment before it got sexual. https://x.com/splitsterart/status/1749929155251102148?t=UVpJv9IJPTNiEwVoH-Gv3w
At the same time, Kallulily put out a statement defending her friend. This statement once again blamed the victim, insinuating the victim only came forward with the grooming allegations as an act of revenge (yes, the victim who had been groomed by her friend). Taking it as far as stating that the victim was a greater threat to minors than the groomer ever was.
Kallulily would later delete this statement. These screenshots were saved by another user, and are taken from here: https://x.com/Kaizilero/status/1750261445080883671
Along with this, Kallulily & Mod claimed Hoco knew and enabled a minor to distribute NSFW commissions. This has been cleared up by both the minor and Hoco. It’s important to mention how much making a claim like this can hurt someone’s reputation. https://x.com/RustyDoodleBot/status/1749962678406177246
In no situation is it ever ok to blame or portray a grooming victim as evil for coming out about their abuse. Despite Kallulily claiming she holds her friend accountable, she still brings the victim's reputation down to elevate her friend’s actions. Note that Mod was inappropriate to multiple minors, at least 3, meaning Kallulily and Mod’s argument of this happening because of Hoco’s behavior is null. As Mod has been inactive on all of their accounts since their callout, they are not the focal point of this post. However, other affected minors were recently contacted and new screenshots with both confirmation via memory and hard proof with screenshots of past NSFW conversations and art were given, with permission to share. DM this account for those screenshots if the extra confirmation is necessary.
Kallulily claims her friend has changed, but change isn’t trying to shift the blame onto a minor for starting NSFW conversation. Change isn’t trying to bring down a victim to make yourself and your friends look less bad. The overreaching defenses only come across as a defense of grooming itself.
Regardless of if Hoco did something bad too, it doesn’t take away from Mod’s abuse of them. Both Kallulily and Mod never apologized for claiming Hoco was at fault for being groomed in some way, which is the reason why this post is being made for awareness.
Please do not harass Kallulily, Mod, the Kirby Gijinka Rainbow Zine, or anyone else involved. This post is only to spread awareness.
