a style challenge with vanellope since I haven’t drawn anything sugar rush related
Taffyta muttonfudge everyone’s favourite lollipop licking racer( well at least she’s mine)

taffyta prides herself on being the best she can be and as a result REALLY cares about winning
she’s a bit of a sore winner but she’s not a sore loser she understands that you can’t always win no matter how hard you try
candlehead is definitely her best friend and I imagine the two of them chatting before and after races
she’s definitely a fan favourite racer and doesn’t hide this from anyone
a lot of the time she ends up talking about winning and losing and unintentionally puts the other racers down because she has herself on a pedestal
she’s clearly assertive and has unintentionally gained dominance over the other racers. She also doesn’t take bs from anyone
she’s shown to take initiative and is willing to get her hands dirty if she has to
she ALWAYS has a lollipop in her mouth and probably has an entire box filled with a million flavours
The two power ups I gave her are taffy trap as her main one and strawbomb as her secondary one
she’s totally a tsundere
she also obviously cares about her game people can call her mean and a bully but if look at things from her perspective from what she knows Vanellope is an evil virus who if allowed to be friends with them and allowed to race could kill them all or destroy her home and I think how she bullied Vanellope actually shows just how much she cares about her game and fellow racers
I can just imagine her complaining to king candy about how it was no fun having a rival she can’t actually compete with
Plian youpie(you- pie)
Plian loves her Chinese heritage and is proud of her culture, shes a bit shy but radiates bubbly energy. She often tells the other racers stories about Chinese legends and goddesses, shes often seen as childish and has been teased by people in game central for the way she looks but she always takes in stride and is never hesitant to inform someone about her culture

FUN FACTS Her favourite animal is a rabbit her favourite Chinese legend is the story of Chung gah(not sure i spelled that right) she loves baking
Huckleberry is a free-spirited, hard working, mischievous country boy, he’s known to play tricks and small things like those as pranks aren’t really his forte, his skills on the track are nothing to sneeze at as he’s always ready for a challenge. He’s also very laid back and easy going

Eclaira Pate-a-Choux
Eclaira pate a choux is extremely sassy and a bit moody, she excels at everything she does especially racing. she is similar to taffyta however she detests using sabotage and telling people to do things for her if she’s going to win she’s going to use her own skil and look good doing it. while she can come across as bratty(which she kind of is) she does care about her fellow racers(except gloyd he and his pranks can go die in a hole for all she cares

FUN FACTS She speaks fluent French she often says French words in her English sentences She hates being compared to others(as shes sees herself as better) her fans are anthropomorphic cream puffs and meringues

Sticky wipplesnit a recolour no more!!
I decided to redesign sticky shes a reserved bookworm who’s always overthinking, except on the racetrack and while she’d rather curl up at home with a good book she still loves the feeling of racing
Crumbelina Dicaramello the fanciest, poshest racer in the game. She’s a fierce fashionista who’s not afraid to get down and dirty if she has to.

Swizzle likes giving gloyd and rancis hugs cuz it shows that he’s just ever so slightly taller than them
Sticky and crumbelina are chatting as they are more mature than the other racers
And jubileena and candlehead are being adorable
When I first got them, these poor girls had no clothes. So, I pulled an ‘I Can Fix It’ and made some!

Okayyyy, soooo....
Here's some really, REALLY old art. The first one is Lina, one of my mains. The other three are drawings I made for a friend-
And I uhh... Honestly, new art might take a long time to come out. I possibly caught dengue fever, and my whole body hurts like hell- it sucks A$$. Friendly advice? Squishy and subtle intimacy, not the boisterous kind. The gentleness of whispering in the night, pressing on your laughter in a futile attempt to stay quiet. Sounds of shushing, lit eyes filled with all the sparkle in the universe. Feather-soft chuckles. Tender and tranquil intimacy. Arms wrapped around the waist, tickles and soft breaths like the summer breeze. Pepper-light kisses, of whatever kind of love along with a sweet ever-lasting gentleness. Secret signs, inside jokes, hidden conversation with a contagious effect. The intimacy of knowing that someone loves you just as you do, of having flowers bloom in your heart just by seeing them. The intimacy of being enveloped in such a stupendous amount of warmth, that your heart is left in nothing but a fuzzy pool of honeyed liquid, *absolutely melted*. So much so, that you feel like you're nothing but a clueless marshmallow, floating so peacefully on the top of the biggest, hottest, loveliest cup of hot-chocolate ever. The intimacy of someone speaking for you, sharing your preferences before you could even ask for it or correct someone. The saccharine feeling of the sun on your back on a mildly-cold morning, the scent of flowers tangling with the flowers in your own chest. Tingling, glowing, weaving, creating~ You know that it's the right kind of intimacy, that you're truly being loved, when your emotions get so candied, that they start dripping, radiating joy, enough to bring about a sugar-rush. You know that you've truly accepted others' care and gentleness, when the cuteness aggression truly gets to you. And, you're left speechless, in the best way possible.
