Here’s Tech being sassy
After counting the board there are 55 tally marks:successful missions. Add 11 more and that is a total of 66 tallies...
When the Batch return to their sunken barracks on Kamino for whatever reason there are still only 55 tallies. We clearly witnessed Wrecker marking the last 11 in the first episode BUT WHATEVER.
That last mission together is where everything fell apart. The Jedi Order, the GAR, and The Bad Batch. Order 66 ended the Jedi Order, as it ended Clone Force 99.
LOVE THIS!
Sometimes a family is a clone girl and her 5 dads: a knife-wielding tracker who looks like he can kill you (but probably won’t), a military droid cosplayer, a tech-savvy computer whiz, a bodybuilder who’s never skipped leg day, and a sharpshooter who is most likely to sell you to Satan for one corn chip.
Omg this is beautiful but also so sad, the ending of season one was heart wrenching!
good to have you back, brother
The Bad Batch: Soft Universe
Chapter 6 - Medic.
A large amount of time and rest had passed throughout the ship along with a large conversation that was hosted by the brothers about Omega's apparent force abilities. They had all simultaneously agreed to try and test this out whilst Tech tinkered with AZI in the back during the early hours of the morning.
"Any luck?" Crosshair spoke, staring at Tech who had laid himself against the floor who was currently fiddling with several wires that fell from the droid Omega adored so much.
"Some." He mumbled in response, "I'll be able to access hidden records with a little more time but to fully awaken him I'm going to need weeks." Wrecker soon turned toward the conversation, a little worried about what they may find in her hidden records. He knew they had no choice and Omega was fine with it but still - he wasn't looking forward to finding out how they experimented on her.
"Will you be getting that info today?" He asked, Crosshair turning to him with a sigh. Truth be told, they were all worried. Tech grinned as an excited 'aha!' left his lips, standing in the process.
"Yes." He confirmed as a blue hologram filled with various loads of writing and numbers appeared before them. "Hunter, Echo - You're going to want to see this." The other two brothers approached, all simultaneously crowding over the droid. Tech browsed through muttering the words under his breath.
"What's it talking about?" Wrecker exclaimed, a little Impatient but almost too afraid to ask. Tech typed a little something before turning to face his brothers.
"She is force - sensitive and they know it worked." Tech took a breath in, "They lied to her and said it didn't work because the force became too powerful with her - they were afraid and kept testing on her. The misery she kept going through kept her from connecting with the force as she had to have a relaxed state of mind and they never allowed that to happen. However, now she's with us the force has finally been re-connecting with her and what happened yesterday was it finally making itself known to her." His rant finally ended as her brothers shared various shocked and even confused ones.
"She's a jedi?" Echo questioned, rubbing his head. Nothing was ever Simple for this small family but they wouldn't have it any other way.
"No." Tech scrolled through the text a little more, "The force didn't come to her naturally, she brought it to herself - well Kamino did. This results in her just being a force user, not a jedi." They all just remained in Silence whilst Echo re-lived all of the moments he spent along jedi.
"Won't she need appropriate training?" His question made Hunter sigh a little.
"None of us are exactly qualified to train her with the force." He drew a sharp breath inward as he ran his finger tips through his strands of longer hair. "Blasters are no Problem, but the force?" He just shook his head as Wrecker piped up.
"Does she even need training?" Tech growled in anger as the screen ALI was displaying suddenly sparked and cut out rather drastically, flinching a little at the light.
"Damn droids." Grabbing his data pad he hummed as he typed a little more, rapidly tapping at the screen with a sigh, grateful that he backed up the medical records onto his datapad prior to it working. "Omega will need to be provided with some sort of training to control it, otherwise she may fall toward what they refer to as the 'dark side of the force.' This means she may end up with the Empire if fuelled by anger."
"The Empire?" Hunter snarled at Tech, "How could you even suggest that she would betray us like that?"
"You thought I did." Crosshair interjected with a glare, his arms crossed whilst chewing against his toothpick.
"That's because you did." Hunter Snapped back, pushing against his chest. Echo soon pulled Hunter away from him, Signalling for Wrecker to Stand between them.
"There currently Isn't anything to worry about, from my research she's very clearly Strong with the light side of the 'Force', which is our side." Echo noticed the sigh of relief with a mumbled apology for Crosshair who just nodded in response.
"Hunter?" Omega's voice appeared behind them which featured a light gown. "Is everything okay?" The constant hum of the Havoc Marauder could be heard as the hushed shouts and bundles of Spoken Information had been hushed. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah kid!" He smiled toward her, "We're just talking about your enhanced skill."
"You are?" All of that Sleepiness left her voice as she rushed over to her brothers who couldn't help but Smile at their little force wielder. "What about it?"
"We're beginning to discuss your training regiment." Tech Spoke, adjusting his goggles a little. "Your new abilities need to continue to be Controlled as you're their wielder." She stood in thought for a moment before gazing back up toward him.
"Who's gonna train me?" The members of the batch exchanged Various gazes toward one another, unsure who it would be. "And how am I supposed to train? A blaster wouldn't work would it?" Crosshair just smirked at her enthusiasm for weapons, she definitely got that from him.
"Echo would train you as he's been with more force-sensitive People then we have and you'd train with your mind, not just your blaster." She pouted a little before Crosshair rolled his eyes, blasters would always be better to him.
"With my mind?" She was confused but very optimistic regardless. All of this felt new to her as any previous training within Nala Se's lab remained repressed in her mind, locked away and definitely not being released any time soon. " How am I supposed to do that?" Echo just chuckled at her, ruffling her hair through her moment of confusion and wonder.
"Don't worry, kid." Echo remembered what the basics were through overhearing and learning about their abilities from others. He knew that She'd be able to expand her skillset alone without any further training after he helped her nail the basics. "You'll do great and I'll teach you as much as I can alright?" Echo's words alone brought a smile to her face before the ship's control panel began to beep, Tech rushing over to approve the signal with Cid shortly appearing on a hologram.
"Cid?" Wrecker asked as they all made their way around the message. "Fancy meeting you here!" Everybody heard her sigh before seriousness coated her voice.
"Listen up, I know you can't come back to Ord Mantell for a while because of the kid and that's alright- but I have a mission for you all if you're willing to accept." Everybody's eyes soon turned toward Hunter, they knew he was the one who picked if we were to accept a mission or not.
"What've you got?" He replied curiosity leaking out of his voice, moving closer toward the hologram with his arms still folded against him.
"I need you guys to go to Geonosis to grab a droid and take it into your care for a while until you can return it to me at Ord Mantell." Ci'd smiled before waving a box of credits toward them all. "And this will all be yours - don't worry I'll keep it Safe."
"A droid?" Tech hummed, "What's it doing at Geonosis?" she sighed, snarling her voice a little, shaking her head.
"Shut your mouth goggles, I thought I told you not to ask any questions? Just go and get the droid and then you'll get your credits. I'll send you all the information." With that, the hologram disappeared and they were left in rather confused silence.
"Why did she send us on a mission to just collect a droid?" Echo asked, pretty annoyed.
"I'm not sure, but it seemed worth the credits offered." Hunter replied, running his fingers through his hair. "We're desperate so at least it's simple enough." A beep echoed throughout the attack shuttle, Techs datapad lit up at the information received.
"Okay I have the coordinates, shall we get this over with?" He mumbled, tapping away and examining the map. "This will truly be thrilling." His voice dripped with sarcasm as he requested everybody to take their assigned seats with Hunter next to him.
"Alright, let's go then." He hummed, rapidly typing in the hyperspace coordinates before the stars became blurred - one of Omega's favourite things to see. The universe was fascinating to her and it always would be. Being trapped on Kamino in a small lab, she never had the luxury of exploring the universe around her until now with her brothers - any mission to her was a welcome one.
"So what's the plan?" Omega asked, gazing toward Hunter who always controlled that aspect.
"We're going to go into the cave system quickly and quietly. Tech I want you to focus on the map and keep us guided. Wrecker, you need to keep our path clear. Echo and Crosshair I want you to stick with me in case we get any unwelcome visitors." His plan was light and cleared the simple mission they were believed to be going on, knowingly arriving soon.
"But what's my job?" She asked, worried she'd have to stay back on the ship again.
"You?" Hunter smiled, "You're our Medic."

I absolutely LOVE this so very much!!! I love Crosshair and Omega Fanfictions because there’s something about these two beloved characters to me! I love their dynamic and how much Omega loves him without caring about herself.
She’s so selfless and Crosshair needs her and that kind of undying love and kindness towards him especially from his little loving sister!
A/N: Okay, so this is an exert from my CrosshairxOC fanfiction I'm working on. The story itself is set after the events of the season finale, so I make happen whatever I want to happen. So here: I give you part of this chapter. Quick background: Crosshair was taken back by the Empire, but they found no use for him and were going to end him. The Batch turned around and came back for him, rescuing him from the Empire and ACTUALLY removing the chip. That's where this chapter picks up. I went for a dramatic feel. Hope I accomplished that. ^^'
Also, if you want to be tagged whenever I post the rest of the story, just let me know!

It hurt.
Everything hurt.
His head was pounding, his muscles burned. His legs ached as if he had been running mile after mile. His lungs begged for air, but every breath was excruciatingly painful. Every fiber of his being was screaming out in agony. And yet, for the first time in Lord knows how long, there was one ache missing. One tiny-but-sharp pain missing from the side of his head.
Instinctively, ignoring the pulsing burn that traveled up his arm, his hand found its way to his head. He braced himself as his fingers brushed that familiar spot, waiting for the tormented thought to rush through his mind. Good soldiers follow orders.
A bandage?
No skull-splitting headache ensued. Instead, he found himself pressing his palm to a small, soft bandage plastered onto his skull. The only voice in his mind was his own. There was no one else, telling him to obey orders, to follow the Empire, to hurt his brothers.
A groan escaped his lips. He forced his eyes to open, but immediately regretted it when a bright light flooded his vision. He hissed in a breath.
“Crosshair?”
He tried again, slower. He was greeted by the face of a young, golden-haired child. Her brown eyes were filled with worry. Concern. Were those tears? Why did she look so scared?
“Crosshair! Can you hear me?”
“Omega?” Yes, that was her name. Omega.
Her eyes lit up. A smile spread across her face. “Crosshair! You’re okay!”
A chorus of voices that he couldn’t make out surrounded him. Pats to his aching shoulders, a set of hands helping him to a sitting position, all touches he could feel but not fully comprehend. He was disoriented, displaced. Until that child climbed up in front of him and threw her arms around his neck. Suddenly, his floating mind grounded itself in this girl’s hug. Everything came into focus and he could finally make out four faces he knew, oh, so well.
“How do you feel, Cross?” Hunter. He placed his hand on Crosshair’s shoulder.
Crosshair grunted in response. He felt again. That was enough. Even if it was pain he was feeling, it was still better than nothing.
“How’s your head?” Omega’s small voice was pleading. Gingerly, she reached up to touch the bandage, but he grabbed her wrist before she could. Her small body tensed and her eyes grew wide as his action. She stared at him until he loosened his grip. He let go of her hand entirely and his gaze blankly fell to the metal surface he was sitting on.
“You came back for me…” His voice trailed off. Even to himself, he sounded weak and pathetic.
“We did, Cross. We weren’t going to leave you, not again.” Hunter squeezed his shoulder. “I’m sorry we didn’t come back sooner. We should’ve—”
“No, no you shouldn’t’ve.” The sniper kept his eyes locked on absolutely nothing. He knew that one look at his brother’s face and he would crack to pieces. “The Empire… They would’ve…” He squeezed his eyes shut. Images of his rifle sights set on Hunter crowded his mind. “I would’ve… killed…”
“Crosshair, look at me,” Omega spoke with all the force of a commanding officer. She cupped his rough face in her soft, delicate hands and gently tugged him until he looked into her eyes. “It wasn’t you. You didn’t do any of that. It was the chip.”
“But… But I…”
“It wasn’t you, Crosshair.” Omega smiled at him, those eyes lighting up like a thousand stars. “We missed you.” Before he could protest, she hugged his flaming torso and buried herself in his chest. She gave him a light squeeze, being mindful of his many bruises.
He stared down at her in wide-eyed shock. She felt so warm, so alive. She was willing to hug him, to… to love him, even after everything he had done. What did he do to deserve that kind of undying loyalty? Absolutely nothing. He had tried to hurt his brothers, to force them to join the Empire. And yet, here was this little girl, clinging to him, as if she never wanted him to leave again.
“We did miss you, Cross,” Hunter spoke, his smoky voice low and sorrowful. “We’re sorry.” He joined Omega, wrapping his arms around Crosshair’s shoulders and Omega’s back. “I’m sorry.”
One by one, Echo, Wrecker and Tech fell in and pulled their long-lost brother into a warm embrace. Crosshair could do nothing but sit there, fighting every emotion that came welling up inside him. He was a soldier. He couldn’t give into this… He couldn’t allow emotion to…
He broke. The tears he tried to ward off came flowing out, and he hugged Omega tightly to himself. He cried into her shoulder, his own shaking with each sob, and his brothers held him closer. “We love you, Crosshair,” Omega whispered as she stroked his head.
Finally, he was back where he belonged, with his squad. He was with his family. And nothing, absolutely NOTHING was ever going to tear him from them again.
I wish this actually happened! The finale really shook me!
Hey! This is my first fanfic so I hope you all enjoy it! I was inspired by an illustration I saw of Crosshair sobbing and holding Lula for comfort (which I cannot find for the life of me, if I do eventually I’ll link it). I meant to get his done before ep. 11 Devil’s Deal (and especially before this week’s) because we still didn’t know what Cross looked like at that point, but I’m slow and here we are. There is some fanart I did at the end, I’ve only recently gotten back into drawing after a long time, so it might be a little rough sorry!
Summary: The Batch get Crosshair back, but what he has, and almost done haunts him. Comfort is given in the simplest of ways: by being presen for the healing.

It was as close as it got to silent within the Havoc Marauder. The ship always faintly hummed as it cruised through space; the engines and various systems constantly working away in the background via a complicated web of technology and wiring, maintained by the Batch’s resident genius. Rumors were, if someone listened close enough as a ship passed through hyperspace, they could faintly hear the sound of the decillions of particles out there passing around the ship. Something like sand blasting the outside of the hull, but with a bell-like, ringing, song. It was that sort of silence that found all six of the inhabitants within the Marauder.
Tech, the aforementioned genius, was nursing a new goose egg on his forehead with a cold compress while attempting to repair a hairline fracture in one of his goggles lenses. Echo sat across from him helping to guide the nearly blind man in his endeavour. Besides a myriad of small cuts and new bruises, Echo’s left leg lay detached and balanced on his lap, waiting for attention from Tech for a recently smoking blaster hole through the calf. Laying in his bunk, Wrecker was also nursing a new blaster wound: the bolt having ripped through his armour and taken a chunk out of his right bicep. He lay quietly, making sure to stay off his wound so the bacta could do its work and trying to process the events of the day. Remembering the adrenaline and the genuine moment of fear he’d had, but smiling nonetheless. Foreword in the front of the ship, Hunter sat quietly, his face kriffing hurting, his nose having to have been reset after being knocked out of joint. He’d definitely taken a beating, he’d be feeling everything that currently hurt fivefold tomorrow, but the wounds could have been worse. Everything could have been much worse. What could have been was an ache that never faded and a silence that was never filled.

I love this so very very much!!!! I need more Crosshair and Omega Fanfictions (not with random characters/insert) but they are so hard to find! This is so enduring!!!
The Bad Batch: Soft Universe
Chapter One - Just like you.
Sudden waves of calm sent drastic waves throughout the Havoc Marauder, the newly dubbed Attack Shuttle that five advanced clones called home along with a smaller clone, a child with pure generation I DNA who also called the ship her home. The calm waves were well welcomed among those within the ship, they had only just completed a mission that had been given to them by Cid, a rather dangerous mission at that. Yes, they were used to blaster fire, it was in their blood to adjust to it. They were literally made to contribute their own blue fire to intertwine and drown out the blazing red bullets that threatened many on an unfortunate daily basis. Despite how they were made, every clone needed a break after a while, especially the young clone - or so they had thought anyway.
"That was Amazing!" Omega Squealed, rushing over to the others who had thrown themselves into their assigned seats in the cockpit absolutely drained after their Solid twelve hour mission. "Don't you guys think So too?" She took a Sharp breath in, channelling her energy through her legs as she rushed to each individual member of the batch. "You were all so Cool! And did you see me with my bow? I'm getting so much better at it, aren't I crosshair?" Her large eyes darted toward crosshair who was currently slumped against his chair, a new toothpick against his teeth.
"I Suppose so." He mumbled, looking away from her energy filled eyes and focusing on the calmer view of the billions of Stars that littered the Space before them. Omega's previous smile Somehow got even bigger at Crosshair 's mumbled praise.
"You did great, kid!" Wrecker beamed, going toward Omega and patting her back with a lot less force compared to the other members, but due to her Small size she still stumbled a little which caused a laugh to leave her lips. "And it's the end of the mission so you know what that means!" She practically became the beaming twin Suns of Tatooine at this point.
"Mantell Mix!" She Shrieked, bouncing in her Place as Wrecker laughed at her enthusiasm. Suddenly Hunter chimed in, turning around in his chair and rubbing his head, the Previous mission leaving him with a Simple patch of bacta on his arm and an absolute killer headache due to the planet's atmosphere messing with his senses.
"Is Mantell Mix really the best idea with Omega?" His voice chimed in, "She's already excited enough I don't think Sugar will help." Omega and Wrecker Stared sadly toward their Squads leader, Pouting a little at his disapproval.
"But it's tradition!" Wrecker intersected, a bouncing omega next to him clinging to his side to encourage him to change his mind, they just had to have their Mantell Mix It was the only option. "And it makes the kid happy." Hunter let out a Sigh, rubbing his head a little more and giving them both a rather Persistent gaze.
"Are you sure it's just the kid that makes it happy?" He asked, referencing Wrecker who's eyes always lit up at the sight of the sweet tasting treat, he just crossed his arms in response though.
"The Mantell mix should be fine, She seems to be experiencing an adrenaline rush due to the intensity of the Mission." Tech Paused for a moment, fiddling with the datapad that laid within his grip. "Symptoms may include a rapid heart rate, Sweating, heightened senses and of course the most obvious ones of rapid breathing, decreased ability to feel pain and what's intriguing is there's actually an increase of Strength and performance - hence her bow Skills seemed to improve rather drastically during that mission." Tech paused again to type a little into his datapad browsing through the various load of knowledge before making eye contact with a fidgety Omega, still bouncing on her feet. "Oh and of course, the most prominent symptom in Omega is feeling jittery or nervous and can't Sit Still. It helps the excess energy I presume." Wrecker had of course stopped listening half way through, but was a little Worried about their Omega. It was a very chaotic and tough mission, they had a few close calls which probably made things worse if She didn't have enough adrenaline already rushing through her tiny body, the other clones could handle it though due to their training and they were a lot bigger compared to her, hence the numbed effect on them.
"Yeah yeah." Wrecker rushed, "Can she have the Mantell Mix or not?"
"In Short- Yes." Tech replied, shutting off his computer and turning back in his seat to set the Marauders Coordinates. A large cheer shattered the Previously Soothing Silence followed by a Soft wince from Hunter, his headache presumably worse.
"When are we landing!" She rushed Over to the control panels, desperate to do Something to get them there quicker.
"Woah there kid," Echo gently lifted her up, Moving her away from the control panel and gently placing her next to Hunter, "We'll be there soon. Why don't you rest up for now?" Once Echo's gentle grip left her, She moved into Hunter's arms in what appeared to be a protest.
"But I'm not tired!" All of the nightmare training they had to endure never prepared them to care for a child, so whenever she protested It was always a shock. Soldiers were made to follow orders but what they kept forgetting was that she isn't a soldier, she's just a child.
"You will be once the adrenaline leaves your system." Tech warned, "I Suggest you leave to rest now ready for another day of adventuring." She signed and nodded, her excitement already beginning to leave being replaced with a rapid heart rate and a lot of sudden anxiety which caused her to shuffle further into Hunter's arms.
"Yeah, okay." Omega agreed, gently holding onto Hunter's arm as he gave her a small smile, it was late anyway. They'd arrive by morning which meant that they could go Straight to Cids to retrieve their Credits and quite possibly their next mission. Hunter soon stood, softly holding her smaller hand and guiding her to her room aboard their ship. Pulling back the grey curtains, a small room was awakened with stars being shown among the large window. It was a tight fit, but it was worth losing the space so Omega could have her own room. She slowly climbed up the ladder, her eyes always fixating on the orange glow of the fairy lights hanging around the room. She always looked at the soothing tone before searching beneath her blankets to find her clone doll and Lula. Once both toys were securely in her arms, she smiled softly at Hunter, shuffling herself into the blankets and the bigger sleeping bag that lay in the centre of the room so when she laid down against the pillow, she could roam her eyes among the stars.
"Are you comfortable?" His voice whispered, chuckling gently at her small body bombarded with blankets.
"Yeah!" She smiled in return, a sleepy haze replacing her previously energetic gaze. Hunter noticed her heart race was starting to drop quite quickly and her breathing had begun to slow itself down, the adrenaline rush Tech had previously mentioned was definitely starting to wear off. "But can you stay for a little while?"
"How come?" He questioned, sitting on the edge of her room with his familiar grin. "You're supposed to be sleeping." She sighed a little, clinging to her clone doll and staring at him with those curious eyes he could just never say no to.
"But I want to hear more stories about you and the others!" A pout formed on her lips, a pang of guilt filling Hunter for even wanting to leave. "But if you don't want to tell me then that's okay! I'll ask Tech." An instant gasp left his lips as he remembered the last eight times he had woken during the night to find Tech sitting with Omega and rambling about the variety of planets there are, missions, the past and pretty much anything she could think of. She's a curious girl and that always interrupted her sleep Cycle - her racing mind never stopped and Tech was the only one who could keep up and enjoyed doing so.
"Fine, okay." He chuckled, secretly loving to tell her stories about her brothers. "Did I ever tell you about our missions during the clone Wars?" She shook her head, gazing at him with wide eyes. "We were assigned to help assist Anakin Skywalker and Rex to find Echo."
"Anakin Skywalker?" She asked, tilting her head at this newly learnt name.
"He was a Jedi and a great commander, but obviously we were better and cooler." He paused to clear his throat, "Anyway…" Hunter continued to jumble on about how they fought and how each enhanced skills helped them on that mission that surprisingly went amazingly well.
"Hunter?" A sleepy voice asked toward the end of his story, a little surprised that she interrupted a story - this must be important. "What's my enhanced skill?" She questioned, squeezing Lula close to her chest. In all honesty, he had absolutely no idea What her skill was, only that she had pure first generation DNA from Jango Fett which was pretty fascinating, but a skill like theirs? He was stumped.
"Well you're getting great with your bow now Omega!" He grinned, remembering how much the accuracy of the shots she took had improved rather significantly. Hunter was definately proud, just like the rest of the Bad Batch were.
"No." She whined, sitting up a little. "What's my enhanced skill like everyone else has?" Omega paused for a moment, a worried yet sleepy gaze coating her eyes. "Don't I have one?"
"I'm not sure, kid." His eyes lit up as he smiled, "Why don't we find out soon?" She nodded with a big grin plastered along her face. "Now get some sleep ready for that, Okay?" In return he got a smaller smile and a nod as she snuggled herself back dawn with her two toys, almost instantly falling asleep before a gentle sentence left the bundle of soft blankets.
"Goodnight Hunter." A soft voice whispered before finally falling into a deeper sleep, unknowing to Hunter's next words.
"Goodnight, Ad'ika." Hunter softly drew the curtain to the room filled with a soft orange glow, blocking it out before walking toward the others and sitting back into his chair with a sigh. Staring forward, he allowed the passing planets to fill his mind as to what memories he had made at the ones he and the rest of the batch had visited. Many of course not among the greatest circumstances but memories nonetheless. Wrecker soon stood and Stretched with an abrupt yawn.
"I'm getting Pretty tired, who's on first watch anyway?" The brothers gazed around at each other, eyes eventually falling toward Tech for an answer as he had always been the one to memorise their sleep cycles and plan out a well organised chedule on who would take watch and when.
"According to my calculations, Echo will be the first to keep watch followed by me, Wrecker, Crosshair followed by Hunter. Is that satisfactory to you all still?" A mumble of sleepy nods were shared in response as Wrecker smiled and moved toward their shared bunks.
"I'll be off then!" He spoke, unable to suppress his yawn as he wandered away to prepare for bed.
"Are you all heading off now then? I think it's best to sleep now for the day we'll probably have tomorrow." Echo spoke, replacing himself with Tech in the pilot's seat, ensuring he was comfortable. The others had agreed and shared their various goodnights and moved away to their bunks, settling down and Just like Omega had, they all drifted off to sleep- replenishing their energy for the morning.
Hours had passed to the stage in the sleep cycle where Crosshair was keeping watch, his feet thrown by the controls which he knew Tech wasn't awake to see so it didn't really matter. He was pretty relaxed chewing against his toothpick, adjusting to himself functioning awake. Crosshair had always struggled to keep the physical effects of steep at bay once he had awoken but don't think for a second that it dampened his skill. What had startled him though were the soft footsteps behind him followed by a very gentle voice that followed.
"Crosshair?" Omega whispered, "Are you awake?" Removing his feet from the control panel, much to sleeping Tech's glee, he turned in the chair to see a rather tense looking Omega Clinging to both her doll and Lula. Great,he'd rather deal with blaster fire then with a kid's problems. Maybe that was a lie, but regardless he wasnt really experienced with kids and he didn't want to mess her up like he felt he was.
"Yeah, kid." He spoke, voice thinned out and a little tierd. "What do you want?"
"I don't think I feel great." Her voice mumbled, "My heart feels fast and my mind won't let me sleep." He sighed a little knowing he'd have to take care of the worried child before him, he seemed cold-hearted to everyone around him but he knew his brothers know that that isn't the case. He supposed this was his chance to let his little sister know that too.
"Anything on your mind?" He asked, trying to rid his voice of the sour tune that he had grown accustomed to using. She seemed rather lonely shuffling on her feet, gripping her toys closer to her chest.
"I think I'm nervous about tomorrow…" Crosshair gave a soft gesture to let her know that it was okay to carry on, he was there. "Hunter promised me that he'd help me try to find my enhanced Skill! I really want one so I can be more like you guys. That way I can be more helpful too!" Omega drew a sharp breath inward, "But what if I don't have one? What if i'm even less helpful because of it. What if I'm not like my big brothers?" Her smaller Kamonian thick accent began to shake as a bundle more 'what ifs' left her mouth.
"Hey," Crosshair interrupted, a shot of genuine physical pain shooting through his heart at the tears which began to loom over her usually bright and hopeful eyes. "No more What if's. You're always going to be apart of this team with or without an enhanced skill. We may not find it Straight away if you do have one, but even if you don't have one it's nothing to get worked up about." His attempt to soothe her didn't work the way he had wanted it to, but she did seem calmer than before. "You'll do fine, kid." Something amongst his heart encouraged him to open his arms despite everything in his mind telling him to just make her go back to bed. Before he could gain control of his half-awake mind, his arms had opened and those words left his mouth. "Go back to bed, Ad'ika." Omega had thrown herself into his arms, hugging him tightly with the doll and Lula present. He thought that he should feel embarrased or angry - but if anything he just felt a wave of pride wash over him. She wanted to be like them? Even after everything that had happened? For Sure She had a very compassionate and empathetic heart, but he didn't think that it was as Strong as this.
"I want to stay with you." Her muffled voice mumbled as she gently climbed to sit on his lap clearly in a sleepy and stressed out daze. Crosshair didn't respond to her heart-filling request as he watched Hunter gently approach by them both. Both brothers Shared a understanding nod, eventhough Crosshairs was a little hesitant. He didn't mind holding his little sister for longer, but she needed her sleep. She was overtierd and anxious enough. Hunter lifted Omega Softly from Crosshairs arms as the sniper dusted himself off returning to taking watch until she was back in bed. Luckily, Omega had already fallen asleep against Crosshair, so Hunter putting her back to bed was no problem at all. Once he returned, he stood behind his brother.
"Thanks, you can head back to bed now." Hunter hummed, taking the freed Seat as Crosshair left with a soft mumble and scrowl as per usual. Once he was out of sight, he leant back with a gentle sigh knowing how upset she'd be without an enhanced Skill of her own. Though at this point, he was pretty certain it was stratedgy. Things would become clearer by morning though, he knew Tech may be able to find out before she woke. "All in due time." he mumbled softly, waiting for the planet they were waiting to land on to appear, desperate to get their credits. This wouldn't take too long, they'd find out soon doing anything to make his Ad'ika happy.
You know what? I think I don't have my favorite Bad Batcher. I love all of them equally.
I love Hunter.
I love Crosshair.
And I'm really worried about him. What if the Empire decides to kill him?
I love Wrecker.
And what about Crosshair's chip? Is it removed or not? Because if not, we must prepare for pain and suffering. His suffering. And I don't want him to suffer. If yes, well... then he really needs to rethink his choices.
I love Tech.
But if his chip has been removed... Why does he have headaches? IS HE SICK? WHAT IF HE'S DYING? I NEED ANSWERS! NOW!
I love Echo.
I just really don't want to him die as a villain. Well... I don't want him to die at all. And if he dies I will act like every normal human being - I will cry all week and never come back to this fandom again. The same will happen if he doesn't get a good redemption arc.
And of course, I love Omega.
I really love them equally and I don't think constantly about one of them. Nope. Not at all.

Description: There is no limit to the indescribable comfort he feels when Omega rests her head on his shoulder and her hair tickles his neck. This must be all that he has ever fought for.

Image description: This is the face of an angered smol bean. If you see this face, turn around, run, and do not look back. If you are not fast, hide and pray it does not find you. This smol bean will fight you.
Its main forms of attack consist in angry looks, various food items, as well as plates and trays said food items may be contained in. It will also take advantage of its smolness to leap at you and bring you down with its bare hands.
In some occasions, and if you are lucky enough to still be alive during your encounter with the enraged smol bean, a much larger bean will emerge, aiding the smol bean by appearing threatening.
While the larger bean utilizes many similar attacks to the smol bean, the larger bean is not to be underestimated. It is ruthless; it will enjoy throwing you across the room.
If you have made the grave mistake of engaging both the smol bean and the larger bean in combat, there is a 99.04% chance another group of beans will apear to support their kin.
I beg of you, if you see you begin to anger a smol bean, stand down from your fight, lest chaos will reign.
Beware the Bad Beans.
YES!!! AND the put the CHILD into one by herself! Only makes sense for her to try and save AZ (thank you Crosshair...love anything with Crosshair and Omega for some reason)!!!
Dave really put the two problem children in a "get along" pod lol
I've finally finished the art from the Winx x TBB series. The idea of this kind of crossover arose precisely because of Tech's sacrifice at the end of the second season. He sacrificed himself for someone from his world, and if they were in the world of Winx and if he were a fairy, he would definitely have received his highest form. The Wrecker in the form of Flora can be seen here.
The second version of the pie is Brown eyes. I put some of the filling on the jam and added it to the pie. it turned out to be a little better than the last attempt, since now nothing falls out so easily.
Apparently, a break of several years in the preparation of pies is affecting, because it turned out like this. Next time I'll try to make the filling in a different way. As for the taste, it's generally not bad, as far as I'm concerned.
By the way, the cooled filling does not fall out as in the photo, so I think the experiment was a success by 70-80 percent.
The two-year anniversary of his death will be at least three to four days away. Tech, I dedicate this to you. A pie codenamed "Brown Eyes".
Dough:
Mix 400-450 grams of flour with 7 grams of yeast and one teaspoon of salt;
Melt 95 grams of butter over low heat;
Heat the milk (250 milliliters) in the microwave for a minute or one and a half;
Add one chicken egg together with butter to one container with milk and stir;
Add to the dry ingredients;
Mix until smooth and leave for an hour under a cloth.;
Melt a few small pieces (56 grams) oil on low heat;
Sprinkle the work surface with flour;
Cut the dough into two pieces in a ratio of about 60:40;
We roll out the first piece with a rolling pin;
We lubricate the baking sheet with oil and put the dough on it;
Add the apples and sprinkle them with cinnamon and vanilla sugar.;
Add one sliced orange, three sliced bananas and forty grams of raisins;
Roll out the second piece of dough and put it on top;
We lubricate the top with oil and send it to the oven for forty minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
I associate all these ingredients with Tech in one way or another. Cinnamon, because he's a cinnamon bun. Apples, because apple pie is generally good with cinnamon and many add it to charlotte. Raisins are generally rich in B vitamins, lowers blood pressure, strengthens the heart, improves sleep, supports healthy sleep, gives a boost of energy, and I think Tech loved these kinds of dried fruits. Bananas and oranges are tropical fruits, and I think it's understandable why I decided to add them to a pie named after Brown Eyes.
If there were more tropical fruits with cinnamon and apples, the name would be TechPhee.
In memory of our boy, I think we can experiment. Since it's a little late at the moment, I'll share my impressions of this culinary experiment tomorrow.
Rest in peace, Brown Eyes!
