hhehehe i remember trying to quit zoloft cold-turkey and i wouldn't stop vomiting for a month straight, never again π
wouldn't recommend not listening to your psychiatrist but whatever the purpose of trying to quit zoloft was, it kinda worked, in a different way. i was on a pretty high dose of several meds, quitting everything means they have to start with smaller dosage again, so cheaper meds and multiple months backward in recovery π

waaaa, i am underqualified for this since i am winging it most of the time and only stay in my comfort zone by drawing simple poses
however i will list something that i think may come in handy under the read more so that the post wouldn't be too long π
- using references, geometric shapes and all that stuff
- knowing the relative proportions of the body (like how eyes are one eye apart and how the elbow is as long as the ribcage)
- usually the biceps are relatively bigger than the deltoids, i just learned this recently and i think it makes my drawn arms look nicer
and here is something i realize i have been doing unconsciously.
when painting, there is soft edges and hard edges right? with similar principle, when drawing, there are straight lines and curved line. though i mostly just draw softer bodies using more curved lines, knowing where to put straight lines may make the overall silhouette more appealing?
and bottom right is how i simplify the body.
i hope this is helpful, at least a little bit. :3 if you'd like, i could also share my speed paint and process though it's usually not very impressive.

Oh it's actually because it's just how I represent myself in my art! I use he/him (or woof/woofs) pronouns but am completely comfortable in my body that happens to be assigned female at birth! So I just use my art as an excuse to draw more dudes with my body haha :3 Though in the comic designs I am working on I also have characters with more typical male bodies since I don't want every dude to be like me lmao. I hope this answered your question and I'm so glad you enjoy the art!!!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

Hello! My current art style probably took like 4ish years to get to? I've been drawing around 11 years I'd say! Around like 7+ish years ago I actually really mainly did horror art! It was always traditional and heavy on linework and only black and white! However about 4-5 years ago I decided to lean more into anime styles and try digital art! I used to HATE coloring but gradually found myself liking it more and more! Now today I ADORE coloring! I'd say around sometime in 2022 is when I finally started my path down to my current style!

It depends on what the piece is! I also am terrible at keeping track of time as I tend to work on art when watching other stuff! However I always just say it takes 6 or so hours for pieces on average thanks to me being slow with lineart and all my rendering!

Hudson had a tux cat growing up that he absolutely adored as a kid! The cat's name was Sargent. The cat was named after Hudson's grandfather who was a Sargent in the Canadian air force in WW1.
He was never a fan of dogs as he would always get knocked down by them (due to his small size). This later on made him uneasy about dogs in his adult life.
Even distrusts Boris a little because of that.
