“What are you doing?” you asked suspiciously. Kol turns around quickly from where he was standing next to the bed. There were two suitcases wide open with badly folded clothes coming out of it. Looking around the room, you could see the closet door wide open and some pieces of clothing loitering around the bedroom floor. You looked back at Kol and could see the relief in his eyes.

He smiles nervously,” Oh, hello love. Didn’t hear you come in. I thought you would be out longer with Rebekah.” With your arms crossed, you slowly step closer to him and look at him skeptically. “Again, what are you doing?”, you ask him. He hesitates and avoids eye contact until he finally sighs. He sits on the edge of the bed and beckons you closer. You slowly step closer to him until he finally holds onto one of your hands and pulls you closer. Standing in between his thighs, he places his hands on your hips and looks up at you.

“Well, this probably looks very odd but I promise there’s a reason for it.” he says. You place your hands on his shoulders, “ It better be a damn good one because this room is a mess.” He chuckles and says, “ It is and I’ll make sure to clean it up before we go.” You look at him dumbfounded and ask, “ Before we go? Go where?” You are immensely confused, you don’t remember him or anyone else mention anything about going anywhere.

He smiles and squeezes your hips slightly, “ I thought it would be a good idea for the both of us to leave and travel the world. We haven’t spent any time together ever since I was undaggered back in Mystic Falls and we haven’t had any peace since,” he looks you in the eyes and smirks, “ I would also like to make up for all of those anniversary’s I missed while I was daggered. Maybe even have a second honeymoon since the first was a bit rushed.”

You throw your head back and laugh, “ If I remember correctly, you took your bloody time on our honeymoon,” you look down at him and softly caress his left cheek with your thumb and smile softly, “ You said you wanted to memorize every part of my body and cherish me like no one else could. Which you did, up until the month was over.” It happened so long ago that you’re surprised you haven’t already forgotten. But you knew you wouldn’t, you were able to marry the man you loved and are still with him years later.

Looking up at you, he smiles remembering those days when he had you all to himself without his family drama. “ Which is why I want to leave. I want to go some where far away from here and take a break from my family. So what do you say, will you leave with me?”, he looks up at you with hopeful eyes.

You smile leaning down and kiss him, “ I would love too.”

Y/N: Crap! I’m going to be late. *starts to get dressed in a hurry*

Damon: *confused* Late for what?

Y/N: *slightly smiles* To class. Since I am still human, I have to live a human life style which means going to college and getting a job.

Damon: *takes your shirt* You know you don’t have to do that. I can just compel everything for you. You don’t have to go.

Y/N: *laughs* I wish it were that easy. I like to work for what I want. Which that I really have to go now. So if you could just give me my shirt...

Damon: *smiles* Stay with me. I don’t want you to go. You can just go tomorrow. The school will still be there.

Y/N: *gets a new shirt* And then tomorrow the same thing will happen. You’ll want me to stay, I’ll say no, you’ll take my clothes, and then I’ll end up staying. I can’t miss school all the time Damon.

Damon: *pouts* But I love you.

Y/N: *leans in and kisses him quickly* I love you too. Which is why I’ll see you later, okay. Behave. *walks out the bedroom*

Damon: *scoffs* Behave. Has she met me.

Jeremy: *smirks* Are you sure you want to do this? I mean I could hurt you.

Y/N: *scoffs* If I wasn’t sure about this, I wouldn’t have asked, Little Gilbert.

Jeremy: *glares at you* You’ve been hanging out with Damon too much. Speaking of Damon, why didn’t you just ask him to teach you?

Y/N: *roll your eyes* He’s not a hunter, now is he? Plus, knowing Damon he’ll try and make it sexual.

Jeremy: *steps closer to you* What makes you think I won’t make it sexual?

Y/N: *steps closer to him* I don’t know. But I would much prefer it to be sexual with you than him. *smirks*

Jeremy: *smirks* Oh really? *steps closer until you are both chest to chest*

Y/N: *breathes out* Yeah. *grabs his arm and flips him over onto his back*

Jeremy: *grunts* You lied. You already know how to fight.

Y/N: *laughs* I didn’t say I didn’t know how to fight. I just said if you could teach me a bit more.

Matt: Bonnie, not now okay. *sighs*

Bonnie: Why not now? What is so bad about Y/N that you rejected her. Is it because she’s a vampire?

Matt: If it was, so what?

Bonnie: So what is that you really like her Matt. I haven’t seen you that happy with anyone else.

Matt: *scoffs* Her kind killed my sister and everyone else in this town.

Bonnie: *sighs* You know that she isn’t like the others. She’s so much more different and you know that. She makes you happy and you deserve to be happy, even if it is with a vampire. Give her a chance, I promise that you won’t regret it.
