"Love Me Dead- Ludo" Part Three

I forgot how fast this bitch runs, I thought while watching her go toward the treeline. I wonder if she remembers the deal.

Fuck, I hope not.

Last year I saw her on a camping trip with her friends, who were assholes anyway so I technically did her a favor by killing them, and decided she was going to be mine.

Well, her ass was going to be mine. I don't really care all that much about her. 

The sound of the snap of a camera, a thump with the crunch of leaves and twigs, and cursing pulled me out of my train of thought, and I looked over at the sources and scoffed.

“T–ell me again how yo–u two dumbasses became prox–oxies?” Glaring at the masked idiots, the one in orange stands up and wipes off the leaves on his pants.

“We were here before you, Twitchy.” He snarls and looks down at the one in yellow who was still on the ground and looking through his camera. 

“So what's her name? I mean, since you've dragged us here to help you play Hide and Seek, I think we should know what to call her.” He looks up at the two of us, his black mask slipping off his face just a bit.

I shake my head and start walking in the direction she started in. 

“Yo–u don’t need to k–know it, and I didn’t wan–nt you two here.” I groan, watching a bird and a fox wrestle in the distance.

 “The Op–op–erator’s just an untrusti–ing bitch,” Mumbling, I kick a rock in front of my boot and look back at the two. “Brian, how long has it been?”

“Two minutes and thirteen seconds.” He looks at his watch and wipes his yellow sleeves of the twigs he fell on and looks through his camera, no doubt looking back at the video he took of the girl he stalked yesterday. 

I roll my eyes and my neck jerks to the right, my knuckles unwillingly cracking inside of my pocket.

I reach my hand up to my left cheek and scratch at the scar, a bad habit that always ends in a bloody, bigger hole than the last. 

I think I’ll just try to find her now, it’s not like she’s counting the seconds.

My hand grasps the hatchet hanging on my waist and I start the walk to the other one a couple yards away, silently praying to any god that she still has that fighting spirit in her that I love breaking so much.

Loud, chirping birds were not the greatest thing to wake up to with a headache, neither was the wolf spider on my pant leg. The blinding sun wasn’t either, and the twigs stabbing into my back definitely weren’t. 

Groaning, I wince and put my hand over my eyes to block out the deadly rays. The breeze did feel nice, and the smell of the forest was nicer.

I was just about to go back to whatever sleep I woke up from when I realized something that was just a bit off-putting.

I live in the city.

Sitting up too quickly for my head’s liking, my breath hitches in my throat as I take in my surroundings. Trees, trees, a squirrel, trees, and oh look! More trees.

I’m practically hyperventilating when I try to stand up, and I hiss in pain as I look down at my feet. Taking in my appearance, more dread fills my body. No shoes and no socks. 

Whoever took me was kind of smart; a very bad thing.

I wipe the leaves off my jeans and shirt and start scanning everything I can that was in my eyesight, hoping that there was some kind of human life out here.

Not seeing any, I sigh and curse under my breath, knowing that I have to suffer through no foot protection to find a way out of here.

I cringe with every step I take, knowing the amount of blisters I’ll have. Something heavy falls on my right shoulder after a few steps and I freeze. 

I stop breathing as I notice through my peripheral vision that the heavy object is indeed something sharp and that there’s a gloved hand holding it.

It pulls back, slicing through my shoulder when a pop comes from the hand’s wrist. I scream and fall to my knees, hand reaching up to hold the wound as I cry. The person behind me snickers, and crouches down next to me. 

They’re a man, and the object he holds is a hatchet. One that really fucking hurts. 

“Let’s replay our l–last game from last ye–ar, m’kay?” He grins, his neck popping to the left. “You run, and I’ll find you again!” Giggling, he stands back up and puts the hatchet into the harness wrapped around his waist, and I notice the other one on the other side. 

“I can cl–close my eyes if that makes you feel an–y better.” His god-awful smirk makes me want to vomit, or maybe that was just the fear coming back from last year.

Whatever it was, I shuddered and quickly stood up, making a run for it.

“One, two, three-” His voice fades away as I go, and I’m too high on adrenaline to notice the cuts and splinters in my feet. The trees all look the same, the rocks, the logs, everything.

Nothing changes as I run.

Panicking and realizing that I’m still running in a straight line forward, I start taking lefts and rights to throw him off. Is he still counting? I doubt it. Last year he gave me at most five minutes to run, probably less now that I think about it.

I slow down due to my shortness of breath and look down to see a rather large splinter on top of my foot. Something feels off and I get the urge to kneel down and pick it out, so I do.

The second I bend down, a whoosh comes from above me, and I look up to see an axe halfway through the tree in front of me. I widen my eyes and look behind me, seeing him standing there at least 15 feet away.

His hand twitches, his neck popping to the left once again. Before I register the fact that that tree could have been me, I sprint away once again, completely forgetting about my lungs and the splinter in my foot. 

"Love Me Dead- Ludo" Part One

“You’re very tense.” 

The clock ticks, it’s echo bouncing off the beige walls of the plain, boring room. The couch I sit upon is a sad brown, fitting into the rest of the sad theme.

The window sill has plants on it though, very green and happy plants, a complete contrast to the rest of the snowy atmosphere outside.

“I’ve always been tense,” I say, looking away from the window and at the woman in front of me. She smiles a pitiful smile, sympathy she obviously can’t hide flashes through her green eyes. 

“Not always. In your file it says you used to be a very calm and relaxed-”

“It also says I used to have brown hair. How times change,” I smile tightly back at her, sighing as I realize my mistake. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to be so snippy. I’m just tired and I want to go home.”

She looks at her watch, also sighing as she shuts her notepad and sets it on the coffee table between us. She runs a hand through her hair, clearing her throat as she leans her arms on her knees. 

“I know this is tough, and I know what he did to you, and I know you want to get better, but this takes time. You can’t rush healing. I’m sending you home, and I won’t add this appointment to your bill,” She shushes my protests, raising her hand and making a ‘quit it’ motion, “You need to go home and sleep. You can’t rush this process.”

My keys clank against the trinket bowl as I shrug off my winter jacket, a soft bell following suit with soft, padded thuds. I grin, taking off my boots and shaking the snow out of my dirty blonde hair. My cat, Winston, meows loudly as I crouch down to pet him. 

“You hungry, little dude?” I look at the time on my phone, it reading 5:39 pm. He meows again, butting his head on my leg as I snort and stand up. “Of course you are.”

I walk to my kitchen, setting my phone on the counter as I open the drawer I dedicated to Winston the day I bought my apartment. I pull out wet food for him, opening it and setting it on the ground next to his water bowl.

I lean against the counter and watch him shove his white little face into the bowl to inhale his food.

Shaking my head and laughing a bit, I stop when I notice my phone vibrating. Picking it up and unlocking it, I let out a huh as I open my messages and see my sister texting me.

Donna: I js got a date with the hottest mf I have ever seen

Donna: like smoking hot

Me: someone is actually interested in you? thats a first

Donna: ok ouch

Donna: but yes 

Donna: oh and mom decided shes going to stay at your place for the weeknd

Donna: so get ready to clean

I immediately hit the call button as I read her messages.

“She’s doing what now?” I yell into the phone, wincing as I see Winston puff his tail up and look at me.

“Why would you not tell me this before today? Friday is in three days, and my place is a freaking pigsty. Three days is not enough time to clean, Madonna.” I tell her and start looking around my kitchen, noticing everything I know my mom will criticize the minute she walks into my apartment.

“Uh, probably because I just found out today, and don’t call me Madonna. She called me right before I landed the date with McDreamy,” She states and sighs, and I hear her throw herself on what I assume is her bed. 

“Besides, your place is never a pigsty. It’s always so clean, I could literally eat off your bathroom floor. Speaking of eat, you should also probably cook something, ‘cause we both know she ain’t eatin’ anywhere else.” The southern accent at the last part of her sentence was absolutely awful, but I understood it enough.

“Right, right, of course,” I sigh, hearing a thunk come from my bedroom as I watch Winston race towards the door.

Remembering the fact that I left my window open in my room, I assume a bird managed to fly its way into there, and that that was probably why Winston seemed so interested in it. “So, what’s McDreamy's name? I don’t think you’ve told me yet.” 

I change the subject as I start to walk towards my room to get the poor bird out of there before Winston tortures it. As I turn to go down the hallway, I stop when I notice the bedroom light is on. 

“Oh! His name is Badri, and he owns his own company. ‘Jules Jewels’, or whatever. Anyway, he lives in-” 

The blood rushing through my ears is loud enough to block her voice out, and the fast beat in my chest definitely does not help.

Thousands of True Crime documentary scenes play through my head where my current situation is the beginning scene of a vicious murder. 

I try to swallow down the lump in my throat, but it refuses to leave. I chew on my lip as I slowly walk backwards back into the kitchen, clearing my throat as I walk towards my knife block on my counter. “Sorry, could you repeat that again? You, um, cut out for a second.”

“Mhm! I said that Badri’s sister was getting married next fall, and that she invited us to come to the wedding.” I hum in response, taking out a chef’s knife and taking off the safety cover. 

“I’m sorry Donna, but I’m gonna have to call you back. Kensley’s texting me about when our next therapy session will be.” I lie to her, grasping the knife in my hand tightly. 

“Oh, that’s okay! I’ll call you later to tell you more, love you, bye!” She says right before I hang up on her, and I put my phone in the back pocket of my jeans.

I go over to my sink, turning on the faucet to hopefully drown out my footsteps and any creaking the floor might do as I walk down the hallway to my bedroom. 

I grasp the knife even tighter, furrowing my eyebrows as I hear Winston purr with a deep chuckle and a pop following after. I take a deep breath in, and open the door as quickly as I can.

I drop the knife at the person in front of me, and Winston darts out of the room, startled from the loud noise. 

“Go–good evening to yo–u too, sweets.”

"No. No, you manipulated me. You took advantage of me when I was at my weakest," It was my turn to look disgusted. I played with the safety catch, debating whether or not I should turn it off and shoot him.

I tried to look into his hazel eyes, but they were covered by those stupid fucking orange goggles. He looked better without them, or his mask. He said he wore them because he was self conciseness of his looks, but now that I know what he's done, I don't think I believe him anymore.

He lowered his arms and tried to step closer, freezing when he heard a click. "Y/n-"

Out of all of the boys, he's the second most knowledgeable about periods, he was close with his mom and had an older sister after all, his sister or mom likely briefed him on what a period is

He's also the nicest about it, tied with Liu.

He'd be a little squeamish about it, more so feeling bad that you're in pain instead of a "omg periods ew" kind of way.

He'd get you anything you need in an instant

Heating pad? he's running to warm up a water bottle for you

chocolates or snacks? he's taking Tim's truck and going to the store for you

a shoulder to cry on while you writhe in pain? you got it, he'll rub your back and cradle you to his chest

he'd be clueless on different pad/tampon brands and sizes but he does know what they are at least so if you needed them, just send him a picture of the box and he'd get them

He'd definitely raid EJ's medicine shelf for Advil/Tylenol for you

Toby doesn't feel pain so he wouldn't know what your feeling, but he does know what pain looks like on other people so he acknowledges that you're in a lot of pain

He'd definitely raid EJ's meds supply for Advil/Tylenol if you asked for them

will definitely take the week off just to be there for you, Slender be damned

He sees blood on the daily, so if you bleed on the sheets he doesn't react, he simply changes them for you

Toby runs hot due to his CIPA, so he's basically a large heating pad, he makes for an excellent cuddle buddy

Toby isn't the best cook, but his mom taught him the basics so he can cook simple things, mainly things that need boiled like ramen (he can make a bomb ass ramen ik damn well)

He is the main medic and handles all of the medical situations in the mansion, so he knows what periods are and how to handle them

He'd likely keep track of your period cycle, and know when your period is going to start before you even do

He'd have everything ready for you in your bedroom before you could even stumble to him whining about the cramps.

He has a stash of different size and brands of tampons/pads in his medical room, so he'd have those on hand ready to go

Now... he is a cannibalistic demon... and sex does help with cramps

He'd 100% be the one to eat you out on your period, he'd probably look forward to it too honestly (like the little freak he is)

It's a win win for both of you

On your end, you not only get the pleasure of both of his tongues going down on you like he hasn't eaten in years, while also easing your cramps

On his end, he gets to ease your pain in a way only he can do (boosts his ego honestly), he gets to go down on you, and there's blood soooo

Yea, win win on both ends

He doesn't care about the mess either, he'd put a towel under you, lick you clean when you're both done and call it a day

He's be the one to take your mood swings with the least offence, aware that periods send emotions out of whack on top of all the pain your in

Jack runs cold, he is a demon after all, so if you're an overheating mess when your on your period and prefer coldness over heat like I do, he's the perfect candidate

He won't initiate any comfort like Toby or Liu, just guide his hands where you want them and tell him what you want, he'll do it with an eye roll and might grumble a little

Another freak like Jack, he won't eat you out on your period but he will fuck you during it

He likes seeing the blood on his fingers and dick (nasty ahh)

You'd have to beg him to take it slow though, he's rough and likes it that way (Plz do though you'll get some whimpering from him from the slow pace)

He's not the nicest guy, and he's rough around the edges with a lot of issues, but you're still his partner at the end of the day so he does try, as grumbly as he might be about it

As your relationship with him progresses more, he'd learn more and be easier on you during your monthly week of hell

Liu, unlike unlike his younger brother, is a total sweetheart when you're on your period

While Liu didn't have any close female relations growing up, he'd pick up on things girls have said at school and he did learn about periods in health class, so when he started dating you he did a lot of research to prepare himself

Like EJ, he'll have everything ready for you and generally keep track of your monthly cycle

You wouldn't have to lift a finger, he's got everything handled

Hungry? He's already heading to the kitchen to cook you a nice meal

Since his dad was always working and his mom was always off somewhere, he had to take care of cooking dinner most nights, so he's a very good cook

If you're looking for some fast food though, he'll order and pick it up for you

He won't all the time though, he'll gently coerce you into letting him cook for you instead

He doesn't want you to get a stomach ache from greasy food on top of your cramps

Tea!! He's a big tea guy, so he'll bring you some soothing tea with things like ginger, cinnamon, chamomile, etc, in it.

When you're in a pissy mood, he'll either give you the space you need, opting to either sit on the bed beside you and read quietly or loom nearby incase you need him, or gently redirect your mood, cooing at you while petting your hair

(Which likely ends with you crying and feeling bad which he'll gently shush you and reassure you that he understands you don't mean it.)

If you struggle to sleep on your period, he'll curl up behind you, pressing you close to his chest while rubbing your stomach

If you still can't sleep, he'd quietly read to you to help you focus on something else till you fall asleep

Liu isn't overly hot like Toby, but he isn't a human freezer like Jack (demon freezer? idk you know what I mean)

He's a happy medium, warm enough to provide comfort but not boil you alive and not cold enough to make your teeth chatter

He's definitely an amazing cuddler though

he does have some muscle to him, but he isn't as toned as the other boys are from their use of melee weapons, so his body is on the softer side, just very lanky so he's a pretty comfortable pillow

Overall yet another 10/10 experience

He then tilted his head and smiled, gently cupping your jaw and turning your head

The kiss was short, nothing more than a soft peck, but It was enough for him to notice your heartbeat picking up in pace.

It had been a long day, y/n was laying in bed reading a book, quietly enjoying the rain tapping against the window as he sipped on his coffee/tea. It was calm, quiet, which is not a common thing in the slender mansion. That was until his boyfriend, Tobi, burst in the door, soaking wet and reeking of blood and dirt.

"H-hi honey" Tobi smiles sweetly, kicking off his muddy boots and slipping his wet sweater off his shaky frame.

"Hello love" y/n responded, taking another sip of his drink.

Tobi huffs, walking over to where his lover laid.

"Nu uh, no you don't" He puts his hand against Tobi's chest, stopping him from throwing himself on the bed, causing Tobi to pout.

"Go shower before you stink up my bed, I just changed the sheets." y/n smiles, rubbing his boyfriends chest lovingly.

"F-Fineeee" Tobi groans before crossing the bedroom and into the bathroom, not bothering to shut the door. He strips off his clothes, kicking them out of the bathroom, causing y/n to shake his head.

He watches Tobi, admiring his boy before noticing a cut on his back, which is bleeding rather heavily. He sighs before slipping his bookmark in between the book pages and setting it on the rickety nightstand beside his bed. He gets up, and walks across the cold floor, as Tobi did moments before.

"Baby, you're bleeding. He says, causing Tobi to jump a little.

"What? W-Where?" Tobi asks confused.

Y/n chuckles and grabs the first aid kit out of the cabinet, opening it up.

"On your shoulder baby, turn around." he says, Tobi turns his back to him, looking at him over his not wounded shoulder.

"How did that happen, pretty boy?" Y/n asks, the pet name causing Tobi's cheeks to burn up.

"Um... I-I don't k-know." He says, waiting patiently as his boyfriend cleans the wound.

Y/n cleans it gently, his warm hands causing Tobi to shiver, as they always did.

"There, I'll bandage it after you shower." He says as he throws away the soiled cloth.

"T-thank you, honey." Tobi smiles, reaching up and pulling him into a hug. Y/n hums and returns the hug, wrapping his arms around the smaller boys waist. They remain like that for a few minutes, simply enjoying each others company.

"W-will you help m-me..." Tobi asks shyly, no matter how long the two had been a couple, Tobi always felt nervous asking for more intimate things from his lover. His shyness never failed to make Y/n to smile. "Sure baby, I don't mind." he responds, sliding his grey sweatpants off his body.

After their shower, the boys were giggling, talking about anything and everything as Y/n went into their shared bedroom, taking a pair of boxers and one of his shirts from the dresser for Tobi.

They got dressed and Tobi flopped onto the bed as he wanted to earlier, Causing Y/n to chuckle. Y/n curled back up into the bed, sitting up against the pillows with his legs stretched out. He extended an arm out towards Tobi, urging him to come to him, he does. Tobi crawls up under the blankets and snuggles into his boyfriends chest, listening to his heartbeat.

Tobi sighs, his body finally relaxing after his joints had been begging too for the past few hours.

"Long day, my love?" Y/n asks, gently scratching Tobi's scalp, running his fingers through his boyfriend's damp brown hair. He mumbles in response, nodding his head.

Y/n hums, picking up the mug that sat on the nightstand beside his discarded book, he takes a sip and cringes at the cold liquid wetting his tongue.

"C-Cold?" Tobi asks, giggling at his boyfriends expression.

Wade/Nancy is an artist who's been surrounded by negative opinions. She currently works under the username Grisgrisdoll, but she's widely known as the name that haunts her past, Kastoway.

I've seen many, many accusations being thrown online against this artist, but I noticed that for many people spreading them this knowledge is secondhand. I found her Deviantart account some time after she changed her username to Kastoway in the beginning of 2014 due to my hyperfixation on creepypastas at the time. I never actually followed her, but I visited her account every now and then, so if I missed something important, it was because of that and I will be glad if you tell me. In this post, I'll list the incidents in chronological order *with evidence* and then give my own opinion at the end.

One thing to know about Wade is that she has had many different names and usernames throughout her life. In addition, she is comfortable with people using either "she", "he" or "they" to refer to her. I'll be alternating the pronouns and using both her names.

He was 13 when she created Ticci Toby [1]. He posted her first drawing of him on the 19th of November 2012 on DeviantArt [2] and Toby's origin story one year later on the 23rd of May 2013 [3]. Wade changed the personality of Toby to make him less upbeat, more tragic and more scary. One of the first instances where he showed discomfort with how people portrayed Toby that I remember was in a publication she posted on the last day of 2013 [4]. This situation ended up with a small redesign of Toby on 5th of February 2014 [5].

She took a short break from DeviantArt around July [6]. It was this year when her creepypasta blew up out of proportion. Previously, she had expressed her desire for Toby to only be shipped with another creepypasta character called Clockwork. However, many people didn't like Clockwork and didn't respect this wish, leading her to further getting tired of the creepypasta community. By october of the same year, her Deviantart bio said: "Most people know me as the creator of the creepypasta story "Ticci-Toby"-- which yes I am, but I prefer not to be constantly called out for it nor only recognized or appreciated for it. I do not contribute to the creepypasta fandom anymore so please don't ask me about it. Thank you" [7].

One issue that is frequently overlooked when discussing Wade's actions is her problem with impersonators, as she stated on a status in November [8].

On 14th of December 2014 he made a post trying to solve all the turmoil that had formed because of shipping [9]. He stated that he had asked people not to ship Toby with anyone but Clockwork because that was what he was comfortable with, but he realized that decision was pointless and didn't care at this point. The situation had gone out of control and there were people bashing creators who shipped Toby with others or with their own characters. He apologized to the hurt and asked people to stop the white knighting. In addition, he recognized "I wasn't prepared for my character to become popular on the internet. I really wasn't. I never thought it would happen and I'm still not good at dealing with it. In fact I suck at it, it's true". He was 15 at the moment.

In 2015, they got into Marvel, even having a tumblr blog where she drew Deadpool replying the asks of her followers. At the end of their bio, it could be read: "I will not reply to notes or comments regarding Ticci-Toby or anything Creepypasta related, sorry." [10]. This message was deleted months later, so their profile didn't mention Toby or creepypasta anymore. They kept the folder for her creepypasta drawings in their gallery tagged as "old".

In April 2016, he had to warn the general public that Toby wasn't real and that he was his creator [11]. People had been spreading misinformation, saying that Toby was real or was based on a real person. Wade feared that something like the tragedy of Wisconsin could happen again, it was a serious concern.

In May, Nancy made a post saying that people could still ask her about Toby [12], but later in June that year, she decided to step off the internet with the purpose of trying to improve her life, archiving the majority of her work [13]. Later in 2017, she updated her bio to let people know about her new instagram account where she mostly posts original art. It was at this point when I stopped checking her content completely, as this account, called bonejars at the beginning, was private for a while. She hasn't been very active on DeviantArt apart from the times she announced her podcast.

On the porch: Episode 2, 16 April 2020, started a wave of negativity against them. I didn't watch it at the time and it is now private so I can't say much about it, but they did some clarifications on her instagram stories later. Many users took screenshots of them and they can still be read [14]. In them, Nancy says that they came to terms many years ago with the ships, that they left the fandom because all of the drama made them miserable and that they'd wish Toby to no longer be associated with the creepypasta fandom. Despite this, they don't want people to stop doing what makes them happy, they said they're ok with headcanons and people reinterpreting the character, that they like the fanart as long as people don't profit from it. They said "I know what escapism is like and using fiction to cope with life. I would never wanna take that away from anybody". Later, they had to make further clarifications because people accused them of wanting to take Toby away from the fandom.

On 25 abril 2021, Nancy posted a new redesign of Toby on his Instagram account [15]. This version of him was significantly different from the last one. The character is older, wears different clothes and looks more realistic due to Nancy's art style development. With this design, he looks like a character from a slasher.

Many people weren't pleased with the redesign due to thinking the reason for it was to invalidate the previous one. Consequently, they brought to the surface controversies from the past. Nancy was accused of having supported two controversial figures in the creepypasta community: Laughing Jack's creator Steve Aikins (Snuffbomb) and Sally Williams' creator Shilo (la_mishi_mish).

Steve presumably harassed his ex-girlfriend and talked indecently with several young girls back in 2014 [16]. I haven't found evidence of Wade supporting him and I can't remember exactly what she said. If someone has screenshots of it, I would be grateful.

Shilo used to draw NSFW art of Sally [17]. This character is canonically 8, so she usually aged her up in this kind of content. However, she posted a compilation of sketches depicting Sally and Jeff the Killer having sex in 2015, stating it was ok for them to have intercouse because they were both 13. Shilo was 22 at the time. Several sources indicate that she stopped drawing mature content due to social pressure. Nancy and Shilo follow each other on instagram to this day.

There haven't been more references to Toby on Nancy's part since then.

So, what can we accuse Wade of? Of being an idiot and a hypocrite when he was a teenager, of having bad companies and managing fame poorly. I don't think we can blame them for anything else and feel that a big part of the hate they receive is undeserved.

I think she was a hypocrite because she got angry with an interpretation of Toby that she had at the beginning. What's more, Toby's story uses an interpretation of Slenderman that was invented by the fandom, proxies are not canon. It's like a fanfic of a series inspired by just a couple of photos.

Still following Shilo is yikes. However, we don't really know if they're still close and I'm personally gonna give her the benefit of the doubt. Defending Steve was a bad move, but, as some people have pointed out before, he was a teen when that happened, way younger than Steve and she could have been convinced to think he was innocent. Shilo is older too.

Being that young, she wasn't prepared for facing the bad sides of fame. Ignoring stuff, going radio silent and then saying things in the heat of the moment didn't help her a bit, but it was all that occurred to her at the time. She's tried to explain things in more detail in recent years just to go back to saying as little as possible because at this point, people get angry for whatever she says.

People say they're homophobic. Their instagram account refutes it.

People say he was mean and insulted the fandom. I remember reading a couple of statuses on DA that I thought were insensitive, but that was a long time ago. People grow and he's changed his mind a lot as you can read in his instagram stories. If you say these things referring to the post where he told people Toby wasn't real, I'm sorry, but I think he had all the right to be harsh. People said Slenderman was real, it ended up in a tragedy and now the same things were being said about Toby. Can you imagine how it's to feel you're responsible for someone's death? He was trying to protect people.

People say she went after artists that portrayed Toby in a different way than hers, yet every time she's said something that ended up hurting people, she took responsibility and apologized for it. I don't believe this person could go and directly hurt someone. Remember what I said before about her issues with impersonators and people white knighting? That could be what's happening. Even now she has problems with people pretending they know her, so be careful!

People say they have abandoned the character many times. It's true they've said they didn't want to talk about Toby on four different occasions, but I don't think they did it with that intention. Why did they redesign him then? The design we all know is inevitably tied to the creepypasta community and they want to move on from it, that's why they didn't want to talk about him. Now they made a version of the character that isn't tied to that world, so we have two Tobies, one for them and one for us. I think that's cool!

Many don't like that they can't use the old version to earn money, but I want them to understand that this is a really particular situation. Usually, people making commissions of characters that aren't theirs isn't a problem when the creator is getting money on their own (unless you're Disney, Disney has no chill). This isn't Wade's case, she has never been monetary compensated for creating or drawing Toby and she has the right of choosing not to allow the commercial use of her characters. "Give for free what you were given for free" is a rule that makes sense in this case.

I don't expect anyone to stop disliking Wade, you're free to feel whatever you want, but at least I hope that this post helps people to see that all of this is more dimensional than just "kastoway is evil". At the end of the day, she's just a dude that fucked up many times and I think her experiences can help us to not commit the same errors.

Unlike most of the proxies, you didn't reside in the slendermanner, preferring to have your own private cabin near the residence instead. The Operator didn't have a problem with it since security wasn't an issue, he was still in range to see what you were doing... which was kinda creepy but hey, it's apart of what you signed up for.

That didn't mean you didn't often find yourself in the manner most afternoons visiting your boyfriend Toby. Especially as the winter months rolled around (which was odd because you knew damn well he couldn't even feel the chill in the air).

Still. It was one of those late afternoons. You were in his room, on his bed more specifically, and he was all comfy cozy in your arms as you held him, carding your fingers through the curls that always seemed to sit so perfectly atop his head as he nuzzled himself into your chest.

Unfortunately this moment, like the many other times this has happened, had to come to an end. Slender assigned missions at nightfall no matter the conditions outside because it assured less likeliness of getting caught or seen by someone.

When you checked your phone and realized that yours was in a whopping 20 minutes you sighed to yourself and began to gently pry Tobias off of you

"Mm." He protested, squeezing you tighter which only elicited a soft chuckle to escape your lips.

"Tobes, I gotta get changed. I have a mission," You said, attempting to slip away from his strong grip he had on you.... You swore it was comparable to that of a boa constrictor sometimes. "I can't go out there in this."

"But.. baby, it's cold outside" Toby all but pleaded with you, silently hoping the sad face he was giving you would work.

It kind of caught you off guard, well, not the pouting, that wasn't an uncommon occurrence. But what he had said... was he seriously quoting that silly Christmas song??

"Very cute. But still. Slender would tear my head off if I missed another mission cuz of this." You reasoned with him, giving him a kiss on the forehead as he sighed heavily and let you go... albeit reluctantly.

Once you got up and got on your coat, you bid your farewells, exchanged multiple 'I love yous' and headed back to your cabin to get changed. Hopefully Toby would still be there once you finished up with your mission and came back with hot chocolate <3 (spoiler alert: he was)
