Midnight Hollow’s Indecisive Hairstyle for the lovely ladies~ Works from child-elders and also has improved mapping that actually makes sense. Comes in pooklet, remi and lilith’s remi textures, all hairs are binned and familied. Elders are in the custom for pooklet/io colours, and attached to black for remi and lilith textures.

Little quickie something - 3t2 conversion of the Midnight Hollow hair “Search and Rescue”. A long hat hair with goggles for all ages and both genders, makes a great accessory for steampunk I guess. Comes in all pooklet and io colours and remi textures and colours. Elders are in customs for pooklet and attached to black for remi.

Rose's accessory hair bows in Afterglow textures & colours. 081 is TU-EU, and 106 is YAU-EU. They come in the Afterglow naturals family, my alternative family and 9 unnaturals. Accessories can't be binned unfortunatley, but eders only get grey naturals, and unnaturals are for all ages.
Everything's fully compressorized and packed with meshes and volatile base textures.

Hello, today I replaced basegame female child hair cfhairpigtails with Lolipop Chainsaw Juliet, converted 3t2 by @profesionalpartyguest.
Polycount is 3.9k. Textures are Profesionalpartyguest's, but I tweaked the colours to be more similar to my usual Pooklet Dynamite, Depth Charge, Pyrotechnic and Volatile. This hair is for CF only. All hair colours have the pink scrunchies :)

hellooo, here’s a bunch of magazine recolors..! (disclaimer: i do not know all of these manga, i just thought the covers were nice)
i recolored 5 different meshes: - 8-3′s girl’s room stack of magazines (stack) - swatch - deepsin’s simtype tech magazines (duo) - swatch - shannanigan’s salon magazines (salon) - swatch - ats magazine rack (rack) - swatch - ats wall rack (wall) - swatch
i just wanna point out the magazine floor rack is a community lot only item. i didn’t realize this at first and it took me a while to find it… and the quality on the salon magazines really is as bad as it looks, sorry. that one just didn’t take too well. and yeah, i should have done more (and more varied) recolors, but i was getting pretty burnt out on it)

Day seventeen: A variety of object recolours!
First, some Sailor Moon painting recolours; This gorgeous still from the Sailor Moon R movie on Two Dogs and an Olive, three manga illustrations (scans via SailorMusic.net) on “How Eloquent” from Apartment Life plus a bonus white gold frame recolour, and then one of Naoko’s iconic melting-face panels edited/redrawn to remove text and slapped on Grilled Cheese.
Second, I was taking a closer look at the Tush Hugger chair from Uni one day (the not-a-beanbag-chair chair) and I realised the textures/patterns on it were really quite nice and I wished I had more opportunities to use them. So, I turned them into curtain recolours. By default these should work for the 1 and 2 tile drapes.
And lastly… some very silly handpainted retextures of the Mr. Bearlybutts chair from basegame. Four cutesy Care Bears/Lady Lovelylocks-inspired colourful teddies, two tigers, a shiba dog, and a red panda.
No meshes required. The paintings require Nightlife and Apartment Life.

Day twenty-six: Some Y2K nostalgia comin at you in the form of paintings!
You get:
One recolour of “Untitled” (the pop art 9 Bella Goth faces) styled after the iconic TS1 box art (who was your fav? My girl was always the one in green with the coffee)
Nine paintings featuring TS1 screencaps taken from @outofcontextsimsexchange and probably @weirdsimsinhistory. Original painting is the first swatch for comparison.
Windows XP wallpapers put on various meshes - some on Two Dogs and an Olive, some on A/B/C Stroke, and some on That Place Over There (the impressionist landscape from Nightlife). There’s more than previewed here!
A bunch of Windows XP/MSN icons put on the Reggae poster mesh (also more than previewed)
And some Sailor Moon wallpapers from animewallpapers.com also on Two Dogs and an Olive - also more than pictured here, I tried to go for the nostalgic faves we all remember
I apologise for the Windows bias, but that’s what I grew up with. I do have a little something for Mac nostalgia, though.
One recolour of “Handle and Spout” (the teapot) featuring the flying toasters from the iconic After Dark screensaver. If you hear flapping, it’s in your head.

Day twenty-three: Sailor V Game posters + animated game cabinet!
I had always wanted to try making a Sailor V game with custom game footage, but TS2′s video formats eluded me. But hope sprung anew ever since @shastakiss started sharing their 3T2 arcade machine conversions/remakes! These machines used animated textures rather than video files, which was perfect for the extremely basic Sailor V game footage I’d been planning on using anyway.
You get a new animated arcade machine cloned from shasta’s TS3 Late Night Freezer Bunny cabinet. Since the sign is not recolourable, you’ll have to pick one of the two base files - Katakana (Japanese) or Simlish. They have the same GUID so you can’t use both. Both machines have two recolours - a colourful one that matches the game’s American-style cabinets, and a plain white version that looks like the machines you’d see in the Sailor Moon anime.
The screens will play this little looping pixel art clip I redrew based on the same loop from the 90s Sailor Moon anime:
You also get two Sailor V game posters, one on Route 66 from Nightlife (§200) and one on the Three 3s poster from Apartment Life (§210).
The posters and the sides of the colourful cabinets get their textures from a version of the Sailor V poster I recreated myself for printing a couple of years ago, so it isn’t perfectly accurate to the anime. Her costume is more accurate to the Sailor V manga, though!

Cat Bento Boxes Deco for The Sims 2
These are 4to2 conversions from simbishy, medium poly (4k). They are decorative objects found in decorative section, miscellaneous of buy mode. I added a collection file too so they are easier to find. Cost 50 simoleon. Some of the item are slaved: Bento Box Cat 2 Open and Slightly open are repo to Bento Box Cat 1 Open and Slightly Open. The Slightly Open Bento 2 is also slaved to the Open Bento 2. They have 4 recolors.

Middle-Eastern Edible Pastries and Tea Set for The Sims 2
These are 4to2 conversions from AroundTheSims, low poly. Pastries tray are cloned from Exnem food so they can be bought from the kitchen appliances - miscellaneous section of Buy Mode and Sims will eat the pastries in single portions plates. Tea tray with teapot and glasses is cloned from Regency Tea Set and work in the same way. It's located in the kitchen small appliances. Children cannot use it.

Otaku Collection Set Functional for The Sims 2
This is a 4to2 set converted from flirtyghoul. I made the bookcase, deco manga and action figures but not the posters because there are really too much recolors. Bookcase and deco manga are low poly, action figures are medium to high (5k to 10k). The bookcase has 21 slot and is actually functional to read and "asked to be read" manga.
There are 8 random manga from which your sims can choose (children can choose only for the Doraemon one as I tought it is more "childish"), but if you don't want to wait for the favourite manga to show up you can edit the book in buy mode with the design tool and choose the cover you like (useful for machinima purposes). Sims can also put back the manga in the bookcase (and also the standard books). I made the manga object buyable in buy mode for deco purpose too ^^ Found in Hobby - Knowledge (bookcase and manga) and Hobby - Miscellaneous (Deco Manga and Action Figures) I also added a Collection File so it will be easy to find the objects in Buy Mode.
If you want to add your favourite manga you can recolor the "Otaku Billy Bookcase - Manga" package file with simpe (I added texture samples in the download folder to make it easier to figure out) or change the 8 textures already present in the file with something else. Here a Tutorial from Poppet-sims.
