My reviews of Karen McManus books part 2
The Cousins
Ok so I really really (REALLY) loved this book. It's just so unpredictable and there were so many plot twists it was hard to keep up ( in a good way )
All three of the main characters were interesting and different and well written and I felt like I could relate to all of them in different ways.
I did kind of guess that the story siblings killed someone, because I couldn't really think what else they could've done that would've been that bad, but the ending still felt like a suprise. I didn't guess that Mildred was actually Theresa, or that the bartender was Archer, and I thought those were really great unexpected plot twists. I thought the fact that jonah wasn't a cousin was a bit obvious but I think it was supposed to be because it was revealed fairly early on.
I also like the addition of Allison's point of view because it helped me understand her and her siblings better.
Overall this was a really great book and I wish I could read it for the first time again :)
