An incomplete list of things that one "T" has done during his time attending Night Raven College

Accidentally drew the attention of one Rook Hunt, who has decided that because he is mysterious and hard to keep track of, he’s the perfect target to hunt

Accidentally angered Riddle by breaking the same rule 12 times in 14 days. Apologized every time, claims he forgot

Befriended Jade Leech, much to the horror of Azul

Set Crowley’s office on fire. Claims innocence

Gotten into a contest with Lilia to see who can jumpscare the other first. Neither party has been successful

Got both himself and Lilia a lifetime ban from the NRC kitchens

Photobombed Cater by trying to say hi, resulting in blurry ass backgrounds (7 times)

Pickpocketed Ruggie and then just returned the stuff out of sheer boredom (11 times. Ruggie is out for blood)

Gone through and pickpocketed half the student body when he got bored enough and then ran a big table to return everyone’s stuff, because he can’t remember who he stole it from

Started a collection of shoelaces stolen from everyone who insults his friends in his presence

Broken onto the RSA campus for no particular reason, mostly just hangs out with Chenya while there (14 times)

Somehow convinced Yuu that he should be Ramshackle Dorm's Vice Prefect

Taught Grim to say fuck

TWST OC/Sort-of-Yuu-adjacent Relationship Chart! He Moreso Exists Alongside Yuu Than Actually Being Yuu,
TWST OC/Sort-of-Yuu-adjacent Relationship Chart! He Moreso Exists Alongside Yuu Than Actually Being Yuu,

TWST OC/Sort-of-Yuu-adjacent relationship chart! He moreso exists alongside Yuu than actually being Yuu, but they fill roughly the same ecological niche so I lump him in that category.

"T" is a weird little guy and I love him very much. He is so full of Secrets but also fun and whimsy.

His full profile is here, if anyone is curious enough about him to take a look. The picrew I used for him is this one!

Ramshackle's Vice Prefect (TWST OC/Sort-of-Yuu)

"T"

"If my soul belongs nowhere, then I can be everywhere! That's what they call being a 'jack of all trades,' right?"

T, a mischief-maker who appeared in Twisted Wonderland around the same time as Yuu. Despite appearing under the same circumstances, the Dark Mirror never even acknowledged him. He's known for two things: Wearing sunglasses at all times, regardless of time of day, weather, or location, and calling everyone by nicknames.

Grade: Freshman

Birthday: ????

Age: 19

Height: Short

Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous

Homeland: Otherworld

Club: None; tends to bounce between activities

Best Subject: Potionology

Hobbies: Birdwatching

Pet Peeves: Nothing

Favorite Food: Chocolate ice cream

Least Favorite Food: Sand

Talent: Being unsettling

Signature Spell: "Road to Somewhere"

This isn't a real signature spell; rather, it's just an inside joke. T has an uncanny ability to appear any place he pleases, and disappear the moment people's eyes are averted. While most people just assume he is naturally sneaky, Ace was the first one to joke that this could secretly be his signature spell. T himself was the one to nickname it.

Aaaaand that's T, my sort-of-Yuu who is technically my own OC outside of TWST, but he decided he wanted in on the action and now we're.... here. I'll probably drop a relationship chart for him soon

While planning out the Twining Fates fic, I realized I actually need to pick a point in the timeline, so that's left me with an interesting dilemma

Ortho's featured, so for reasons relating to that it needs to be post book 6, so I've got two options

Between book 6 and book 7

Post book 7

Pros of between 6/7

I know all the story up to that point in DETAIL

Cons of between 6/7

Nothing major, just might miss out on interesting bits I could write

Pros of being post 7

Very handily gets Malleus' magic Out Of The Way

Accidentally made Aster parallel Malleus and I think it'd make for some very nice moments

Signature-spell-related shenaniganery that I can't talk about at this time

Cons of being post 7

........I play on EN and I'm trying not to spoil myself more than I already have

If it is post-7 I might just avoid the details and handwave anything I get wrong

The Living Library (TWST fanmade location)

The Living Library, a massive collection of books, scrolls, magazines, and even music or movie disks located in Nightbloom City. Built in a massive circular structure around Twining Fates, its collection is continuously growing due to the librarians that work in it and donations from Nightbloom residents– though no matter how many texts it collects, it never seems to run out of space. It's rumored that it's tradition for new librarians and library assistants, student or otherwise, to obtain a copy of their favorite book and offer it to the Living Library, though no current or former librarian will confirm or deny it.

The library's outer structure may be a ring, but the inner structure changes routinely. There's a reason it's called the Living Library, and that reason is that it's, well, alive. The library has its own awareness and consciousness, and it often re-arranges its own structure. The whole thing is rather maze-like, and very little remains consistent. The only things that stay completely fixed are the location of its two main entrances, and the separation of the library into two distinct rings. The outer ring is completely accessible to the public– though due to the aforementioned maze-like tendencies, children aren't allowed inside unattended, as it's far too easy to get lost. The inner ring, however, is only accessible to students and staff of Twined Fates Academy.

Typically, this is because the inner ring houses older and more valuable texts– but it's also filled with more statue guardians, and it's even easier to get lost among the shelves. For this reason, first-year students aren't allowed in the inner ring without a librarian or library assistant.

While most things in the library change constantly, there are some consistencies.

-The children's section is always located in the outer ring. Where in the ring changes, but it's always in the outer ring

-More fragile, rarer texts remain mostly contained to the inner ring

-There are two sections for textbooks, one in the outer ring and one in the inner ring, and they're connected by a doorway

-The librarian's desk is usually near the main entrance

-The library groups things by genre, though where each section is moves around

The library has various statues scattered throughout its shelves, which it's capable of seeing through. The statue guardians are animated, and while they lie at rest most of the time, they come to life to defend against intruders or other threats. This doesn't happen often, luckily, and the more likely scenario to see one wandering around is because someone is lost.

Nearly everyone in Nightbloom City has a library card to check out books with, and students of Twining Fates have additional Keys that allow them access to the inner ring. A Librarian, Student Librarian, or Library Assistant have special keys that allow for access to certain locked rooms within the library itself.

Brief rundown of the Double-Yuu thing bc it's not that complicated and I don't feel like giving it its own post: There's two Yuus. That's basically the major thing. Ramshackle duo becomes Ramshackle trio.

You've got Yuu, whose description I leave mostly as a blank slate, though they've got their own character. They take on whatever the MC does in the actual game, trying to get home and handling overblots.

And then there's T, who is technically a Yuu as he follows the same pattern of "stranger from another world ends up at NRC" but in his words "I'm not Yuu, we just fill the same ecological niche" which he then refuses to elaborate on. Talents include being strange and unsettling but very friendly and getting into places that He Should Not Be.

Also while writing I realized I accidentally made Aster parallel Malleus. I didn't mean to do that. Now I actually have to DO something about it.

If I'm not gonna work on my assignments I might as well commit to working on the creative thing. Tumblr I'm relying on you to hold me to keep working until I have a full fic and not give up halfway through.

Basic concept: Fake TWST event ft. new made-up school cause I wanna do SOMETHING with it.

Event plot line goes as follows: Despite the first Promising Young Mage Social ending in disaster, the schools agree to attempt holding it one more time. This time, the hosting school will be Twining Fates Academy, due to the school having a reputation for its extremely safe, controlled campus. Crowley ends up raffling another 10 students, but that number goes up to 14 due to the inclusion of Ramshackle dorm + Twining Fates specifically noting that groups of visitors should come in even numbers.

Note that this would take place in what I am referring to as my "Double-Yuu" AU... hence why the inclusion of Ramshackle brings the count to 14.

Explaining more later

The Student Librarians (TWST OCs)

The Student Librarians, Aster Cordula and Adie Harper. Both of them are in their third year at Twining Fates, and they are widely known to be as inseparable as the school's icons.

Aster Cordula

"Come on– it's a good night to wish upon a star, don't you think?"

One of the two Student Librarians. Despite his usually amicable and friendly nature, many people still approach him with caution due to his innate power. Very close with Adie, and is seldom seen apart from him.

Grade: Junior

Age: 18

Dominant Hand: Right

Homeland: Isle of Sages

Club: Librarian

Best Subject: Astronomy

Hobbies: Writing

Pet Peeves: People who don't follow instructions

Least Favorite Food: Coffee

Allows the user to create and enter small domains within the pages of stories he has written, bringing other people of his choosing with him.

Adie Harper

"I can't help but wonder just how many birds make up a flock... do you know?"

One of the two Student Librarians. Despite his quiet, almost anxious nature, Adie is extremely keen. Ever since he took up the mantle, most rule-breakers are found out within hours. He's extremely close to Aster, and is rarely seen apart from him.

Grade: Junior

Birthday: January 29

Age: 18

Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous

Homeland: Briar Valley

Club: Librarian

Best Subject: Flight

Hobbies: Exploring hidden areas

Pet Peeves: Being seen without his mask

Unknown effect. Adie keeps the details of his signature spell under wraps.

(No images, unfortunately. I have the drawing skills of a toddler, and can't find a good picrew)

Day of Fateweaving

The Day of Fateweaving is a holiday in Nightbloom City meant to celebrate everlasting bonds between people. It is said that on this day, people used to cast spells with a partner that magically bound their destinies together, so that no matter what they would stay by each other’s sides. This spell was first said to have been cast by the Enigmatic Storytellers, a promise that they would always be together.

To symbolize these bonds, people weave friendship bracelets out of fiber, plants, fabric, and whatever other materials they can gather. Traditional ones are very simple, consisting of a woven brair in two colors; one that represents you, and one that represents the intended recipient of the bracelet— sometimes with a charm of some sort attached. However, plenty of people make them completely differently. Every relationship is unique, and as such, so are the bracelets.

Originally, they were meant to be exchanged with your best friend. However, the tradition has since been expanded, and people exchange bracelets with close friends, family members, and lovers. The only requirement is that you cherish this person deeply.

Usually, people will make the bracelets on Fateweaver’s Eve, and then exchange them on the Day of Fateweaving. It’s customary to wear any bracelet you receive for the entire day, and locals often wear shorter sleeves in order to display any bracelets they get.

This holiday is celebrated officially by Twined Fates Academy due to its association with their idols. On Fateweaver's Eve, workshops are set up so that people can gather materials for their bracelets and learn to make them if they don't know already.

It is around this time that the Promising Young Mages' Social takes place.

Officially wrote out the school information. Will probably keep everything for this under the tag "Twining Fates" for the sake of organization.

Twining Fates Academy

Twining Fates Academy, a premier magic college, is represented by the Enigmatic Storytellers and their spirits of creativity and devotion. There were two of them– a girl who was always surrounded by stars and a boy with feathery dark wings– but they share a singular title due to their inseparability. Similarly, it's agreed that while they had two ideals in creativity and devotion, for two people, they shared both spirits equally.

In legend, the pair was never separate. Where one was, the other was never considered far away. In fact, some even believe that they each held a half of the other’s soul. As such, the school ascribes to the “law of duos,” claiming that most things should be done as a pair. Rooms are shared between two people, there’s two dorms, and the student heads are always a pair— alongside all major student roles.

While Twining Fates doesn’t have a magic artifact like Noble Bell or NRC, what they do have is the Living Library. The Living Library is an enchanted place that is capable of moving and re-arranging itself, and has its own statue guardians to protect it. The titles of Librarian (and Student Librarian) are some of the most respected titles at the school.

The school is surrounded by the Living Library in a ring— while the campus is closed to the public for most of the year, the outer section of the Library is open, but for safety, those under 13 you need someone over 16 as accompaniment to enter. The inner ring of the Living Library, however, is only for students and TFA staff. Similarly to the rule for children, first-year students aren't allowed inside the inner ring of the Living Library without a Librarian or Library Assistant to accompany them.

In accordance with the Law of Duos, the school boasts two dorms: Stella and Pluma, though there’s no real difference between them except for color palette. Officially, anyways. Stella tends to be favored by the more extroverted adventurous types, while introverts and quieter types flock to Pluma. Students are able to choose which dorm they would prefer to reside in, though they may be pushed in one direction or other based off of remaining rooms. Again, by the Law of Duos, each room fits two people. For the first year, students are assigned a random roommate inside their chosen dorm. From second year onwards, students can choose their own roommate, or be assigned one at random again.

While Night Raven has its housewardens, and Noble Bell has the Student Council, Twining Fates has the Student Librarians and the Library Assistants. There are always two Student Librarians, in accordance with... well, you can guess. There's additionally two student Library Assistants from each year. The Student Librarians act as the student body leaders, and the primary guides through the Living Library. Library Assistants have less authority, but they are the seconds to the Student Librarians. Student Librarians have full access to the Living Library, Library Assistants can access most of it.

The two current Student Librarians are Aster Cordula and Adie Harper. Traditionally, they will wear the uniform colors of each dorm; pink and white for one, blue and black for the other.

Considering the school's focus around both duos and librarians, it should come as no surprise that another name for the Headmage is the Head Librarian, and that there's always two of them. At the moment, they are only known as Headmage Blue and Headmage Violet.
