I want to apologize for being so inactive for a while + not getting to asks as quickly as I should. Some (pretty bad) things happened, and I deleted all social media from my phone in a panic. I'll be trying to crank out a lot more content now (I'm on break from school)

Have some random (but not really) Octonauts headcanons because I can't think of any incorrect quotes at the moment

(Contains height/weight measurements, to give a better look at the character, as well as a few fun facts)

Part One: Captain Barnacles (Human/Hybrid version) _________________________

° Uses He/Him pronouns, Cis man (? Maybe ?)

° I have no clue what his sexuality could be, but it's not straight. 100% not straight

° Stands at 6'10, the tallest in the team

° Is capable of lifting 400+ lbs with ease, and can dead lift nearly 600 lbs (polar bears irl can lift/handle about 1000 lbs)

° Weighs around 250 - 270lbs, has a good amount of body fat and muscle (polar bears have about 10cm of blubber/fat, as well as about 15cm of thick fur to keep them warm) (Little bonus: Polar bears have black skin! Their fur is "white" [it's actually clear/hollow] to help with camouflage, and their skin is black as a way to help absorb the sun/avoid sun burn and such!)

° A living heater, the amount of body heat this man produces is insane, but very welcomed when it's cold

° Covered in scars, like on his wrist from when his hand/arm was stuck in the giant clam, falling rocks, Gup crashes, etc.

° Probably let his sister give him an ear piercing or two

° Has picked up and thrown like, half of the team. Just for fun, and probably because they asked. Kwazii is the most frequent

° You can see him casually walking around the Octopod while carrying 2 people in his arms/on his shoulders/on his back while holding a conversation with them

° Has managed to get into a fist fight with random people/creatures. He isn't a fan of fighting, but has won every fight

° Would listen to any type of music, it just depending on his mood, the most common being Nicki Minaj (he is canonically a hardcore barb), but he'll listen to anything that is recommended (mainly by Dashi or Tweak)

° Not too good at most video games, but surprisingly good at Mario Kart (with tilt controls). He also enjoys puzzle/party games (a good form of team building)

° Autistic with sensory issues. No I will not elaborate.

° Infodumps back and forth with Shellington and Professor Inkling, as well as some of the other Octonauts (if they ask). It's a common occurrence to walk into the library and hear Captain and Professor going at it about sea creature, the octopod, etc

° Has managed to break the steering wheel of the Octopod a few times due to turning it really hard. Tweak has managed to fix it every time, but Captain still gets upset at himself

Both are super smart and incredibly skilled at what they do, and they have a good amount of field experience. They would probably work well together ^^

Tracker is a pretty grounded while Paani is more out there (and kinda chaotic), so it would be like this almost:

Yes, Tracker is pretty reserved and shy, but if they are anything like me, once they meet that person they are out. One of the most chaotically polite people you'll meet. Then you have the enabler who also knows how to reel both of them back? Best Duo Ever.

Paani is super friendly too, so I feel like the connection would form pretty fast ^^

Paani would just jump tackle Tracker for fun. Out of now where, Tracker can just be standing there and then BOOM, Paani.

Tracker walks super quietly, which leads to them scaring Paani almost every mission they are on.

They would casually fight over directions while somehow going the right way regardless, one is yelling "We go South!", the other is yelling "No, East!", while walking North and they still make it somehow.

ACCIDENT PRONE!!! BOTH OF THEM!! What's that? There's a hole there? They would walk into that hole, one after the other, even if they saw the other fall first.

Tracker has no depth perception, Paani took it all.

Tracker just has a lot of bad luck, such as random things falling on or around them. The bad luck rubs off of Paani whenever they work together, which may or may not have led to Paani getting hit with their rod a few times-

They both have such dumb but smart ideas. The ideas are amazing and can seriously help people and creatures, but the way the phrase it is so out there-
