From coding to neurobiology and from neurobiology to coding.. In between, running to laboratories and projects… I wish my dopamine level could cope with the academia challenges :))

im looking for more active studyblrs to follow pls reblog, reply, whatever if u are one !! esp if u are a social sciences/gradblr focused blog :)
im a sociology undergrad soon to be phd (also soc) student and my dash feels v sparse these days
Took me until about halfway through college before I realized “study” means “play with the material in a variety of ways until you understand it” and not just “read the assigned chapters and do the homework” and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.
With my books, with my exam notes, with my loads of Chrome tabs :') Currently I'm preparing for an English exam that is necessary for my master's applications. Pray for me pleaseee :)))
Additionally, I need to declare my love for the yellow light because it changes the whole aura of the room, especially the desk. For me, it feels like home and I feel safe somehow.

The buildings in my uni were giving the vibe of Soviet Russia buildings and when I was studying I felt quite awkward.

My old laptop...
And the photo was taken at the very end of a semester (zoomester, actually, the covid times). I can still sense the freedom for that specific time period. University was very harsh on me. But here we are :')
