[MHA] Bakugo Hair Practice

I wanna draw the MHA characters more since that’s what I mostly see on here lol

Having drawn Deku a few times before, I wanted to draw Bakugo and realized his hair was a lot more difficult than I first anticipated. I think I got it down though eventually! In his natural color and everything too.

The only thing is that I’m not sure is if this counts as semi-realism? I be making up new art styles with every post.

The good thing about studying my career is that I'm reading a physics book at the same time that one about the mayas and their history. The duality of college.

I kind of like to multitask since it makes everything a little bit easier for me

Finishing my homework feat resident evil 7 by vegeta777, a very well known YouTuber here in Spain.

Weaving back the thread is actually quite difficult, but I'm managing to finish it.

Tell me you are fucked with out telling it, I'm starting, I have to make a 10.000 word easy for tomorrow and I only got a little bit over the middle of the essay, I say middle because Google docs does not count the notes you make, so that makes it's roughly 5.000 words. And tomorrow I have to work so I'm probably going to end up like today, working my ass off because I thought I could do it in a week.

Welp, you need to learn in some way. The good thing is that my essay is heavily influenced by photos, so it's going to be easier to instead of doing 10.000 words do like 7.000 and call it a day.

What I'm doing is a technique to sew threads together when they are broken, since we can't really use knots or very invasive methods we use a special glue that then we have to apply heat so it stays together

Kind of not doing notes, I'm working on some crochet, but I've finally learned how to take chemistry notes,so I'm quite happy!!

Sooo, maybe I've been a little mia, in my defense I went from having no job to having two, and between that and the college deadlines I've been quite stressed.like the three days I don't tutor I stay at the library with some classmates studying, and the days that I do tutor and have my other job I eat fast AF and study either when I come back or before going. Being a college student and working is quite tiring, but my career and the money in my back account are worth it. I might even be able to move out of my parents house when graduation comes

When the study group consists of a fifth grader, a vocational training student and two college students. We are actually getting a lot of things done.

I love my career choices, I really do, but having more than 5 ten page essays in Arial 12 is going to end my mental health, the good thing is that like three are in groups, still with all the work load and everything is quite slow, and more with all the information I need to make a good presentation.

So I need to do a final assignment in any topic I want for my art history class, I decided to do it about the military propaganda in movies (needs to be related to art) like top gun and others, (disclaimer, I haven't watched any one of this films, yet, 'cause I don't enjoy cine about war but military propaganda is super funny, end of disclaimer), and holy shit, this is super wild, like the Americans have a lot of propaganda films? My country, Spain, comes from a military dictatorship but we couldn't talk about the hardships of war and things like that, it was a very taboo topic, now a day's not so much, except with elderly people, but like I had to go to films from Franco's time to find a film that didn't mock them, this doesn't mean we don't have, lately we've been having more, but I don't know, I just find it interesting.

In my country the climate is weird, we've got some cold fronts coming, so obviously with the drastic change of temperature I got a cold(in the mornings we need have a coat but during evenings you can perfectly go in tank tops), but I need to make a presentation for Thursday, so reading this is a must, when I finish I'm probably going to sleep till tomorrow evening

Things done today

- Started the wips of two of my final presentations (got all the bibliography and the started it)

- Studied for chemistry

- Started my art history presentation

The best thing about coming soon to class (i live quite far away and prefer to come 30 minutos earlier than later) is that I get to crochet and eat before the class starts.

This reminds me that last year I did a essay about the story of fanfiction but I connected it with the esthetic view. It was super philosophy but I had to give objective points of view, also I relationed various works of Shakespeare, Frankenstein by Mary Shelly, and the picture of Dorian gray. Very funny and got a 9 out of 10. And this year I had various works about genshin impact and DC comics.

Whoever tells you that college is not about being a nerd is lying to you.

Grad school is lying to you. You can indulge fixations on obscure topics on your own time. You can sit in a library color-coding notes on articles printed from JSTOR for free. You can argue with dead philosophers in essay format whenever you like. Academia is a state of mind.

Okay, so I just finished my studies, like today was the last assignment we had to give to the teacher, and I'm both, horribly anxious( I don't really know if I'll have to go to June or not) and so relaxed that is weird af, but I'm just going to enjoy the summer vacation, work a lot and travel across my country with my friends.

I'll leave some of the drawings I did for today's assignment.

I know that Harley is super horrible, but se is my favourite antihero mixed with my least favourite technique to use, the pastel.

So, I'm finishing studying for my final test, in which I need to know the different laws in history that protects the art of each country. Is interesting but intense, since I also need to know the different types of concepts and the history between those movements and why they did it.

This is for the same class that the Pantocrator, just this time in instead of using egg yolk we've been using casein, which is a derivative of the milk. The painting is called composition with red, blue and yellow, by Piet Mondrian.

The paper in the computer is the process of how to make the part frame where I'm painting, since we have to make them from cero, so that we know how they work.

This is a Pantocrator, is a painting that shows god, it has a lot more of symbolism but since I'm simplifying it a lot I'm not going to go very in deep. It's done with pigments and egg yolk, I don't really know the name of this technique in English but in Spanish is "pintura al temple".

Okay, so this week has been intense, in the worst sense, and it's only Tuesday. First of all on Sunday I had to stop working because I fucked up my wrist, I'm a butcher, and cutting/hitting the piece of meat wrong can lead to a sprained or broken wrist, lucky it is just sprained, and today I had to go to class because of some important assignments I had to show my teacher and I got a major panic attack, which ended in me in my towns hospital and some medication that made me drowsy, so I didn't go to class but I got some sleep I actually needed.

Probably the rest of the week is going to be better, but right now it has been like a loony toons episode.

I also recommend to put together a small first aid kit with bandages, band aids, ibuprofen and paracetamol... Things that might come in handy, and if you are like me and eat at school to have a tooth brush and toothpaste.

Okay, so today's exam was weird, cause the teacher didn't put any of the art we technically had to study for today, so we had to be guessing in an interesting way. The only good thing is that I know like half of the paintings and can be saying weird facts I know about the rest because the painting can give you a lot of information.

Okay, so right now I'm doing a detail of one of the statues of my class and then I'll paint it with coffee, the other drawing is a sketch of a bigger project, I have to replicate a painting, and I decided to do woman sitting, by Poldi Lodzinsky. Right now this drawing is in the Thyssen museum, in Madrid

For one of my classes I'm having to do a replica of an object, and I'm doing a bell, which had to menguante due to technical problems, but no problem because it's still cute.

Day 9/30

I don't really know what to write in this post, so I'm just saying that this is a drawing of the picture taken by Richard Avedon of Marilyn Monroe and that I have to do it in English weave(?, in Spanish is called, "trama paralela o trama inglesa".

Okay so I have to do a herbal of different types of plants, they could be real or fantastic, so I decided to do it of genshin impact bosses that look a lot like plants, a part of the whoopflowers I have also done the regesvide, but I love of this one's are looking so far. I'm regretting my life decisions but because I need to give it in two days and I'm halfway through it, I need to finish the final details and give it either colour or shades.

Okay, today I'm way better than last week to be honest so I'm posting two photos of my final assignment in volume, the first one is the "definitive" one and the second is before my teacher did any kind of intervention. I'm quite happy with the result.

I haven't been able to post too much because of being very behind in some of my homework, since college is very stressful and my anxiety has decided to act up, even though I have been catching up on it, so I'm not that far behind anymore buybi still need to do a lot, for me.

This is like my final work for photography and is both exciting and very hard, since we need to do the photo with the illumination perfectly.

This is one is for introduction to color, which is my favorite class. I'm this exercise we need to copy a drawing and colour it in the warm and cold colors, which is unexpectedly hard, because this drawing has both, when I finish this assignment I'll post it all together.

Sometimes productivity is drinking tea while in your work break while being with one of your coworkers and drawing them because they are in the perfect relaxed position. What I'm trying to say is that productivity is not just doing one hundred assignments but also doing one.

I have to make a reproduction of the head in the background for my introduction to volume class, and I just want to say that is harder than I expected it to be, because clay is weird to work with, along with the fact that I've never done this is my life
