@looknorth I can ASSURE you that is not ‘well people think french is pretty’ I will speak butt ugly German and people will ask how to learn it. The reason people act differently to all these languages is one reason: Racism. 

Not ‘because Language A is spoken pretty and Language B is not’ Which is total bull by the way. Because one language is perceived as just as a language, something cool to learn. but when one of my classmates speaks arabic in public to her family, she gets strange and disgusted looks. no one asks to be taught arabic. no one says its cool that shes bilingual
