Okay, y'all. We need to have a serious talk right now.

So, some of you probably might know that I live in Poland, and today I wanted to share a little talk about what happened in a city named Bialystok.

Basically, a few days ago there was a pride parade in this city. It wouldn't be so extraordinary, if it wasn't the fact that a lot of people were brutally attacked. No, seriously.

There was a bunch of shitty nationalists (we usually call them "narodowcy"), who were throwing firecrackers, glass bottles, stones and even bricks at marching people. They were also shouting homophobic slurs and things like "God, honour, Fatherland", "Our Father, who art in heaven" or "Get the fuck out of my country, faggots". My best friend, who attended the march, confessed to me that she and her girlfriend were hit by some firecrackes and it took them really long to finally bandage all wounds and burns.

I'm so disgusted by this country. I am already horribly afraid to take my rainbow bag somewhere or attach a little pride flag to my backpack, imagine what these people must have felt.

I also want to add that there were like 5,000 attackers, which is five times more than the marchers. Not to mention that right next to these homophobes there were baby carriages and toddlers.

Please, stay strong, my loves, no matter where you live in or who you are. We need to have hope for a better future. I am so afraid, I want to escape this place as quickly as possible.
