Your first thought when you landed in Asgard was that you could never live in a place like that. 

It wasn’t a matter of whether you wanted to or not. You definitely did. But something told you that you didn’t belong in Asgard. The place was everything you had seen in fantasy movies and imagined when you read fictional books. Even though you were there now, Asgard’s golden castle was shining almost blindingly in the sunlight, just a little ways away from you, and you still couldn’t digest the fact that it was real. It seemed almost too good to be true. And someone like you couldn’t live in a place as grand as this. You were barely visible on Earth. You would drown in Asgard.

Chapter Two: Observing

Michelle Jones was always observant of Peter Parker way before they became friends. She noticed when he ditched stereotypical girl colors and started wearing more androgynous or masculine clothing and the colors associated with that look.

MJ, as she preferred to be called, became Ned and Peter’s friend more through force than usual ways of becoming friends. She knew it wasn’t normal, because she knew that she wasn’t normal by society’s standards. And, she liked it that way. She embraced her weirdness.

She sat herself down abruptly at prepubescent Ned and Peter’s lunch table with a book in hand, and the arrangement stuck. None of them questioned it, and throughout the rest of middle school and the years of high school, they all remained sitting together. 

Being naturally observant, MJ immediately accepted Peter’s wishes to be known as Peter in the seventh grade and on. He was quite surprised at this, but she assured him by the end of their awkward conversations that she would call him Peter and use him/he pronouns from that point on.

Sure, he was your dad, but after what he’d done to you and your mom, your dislike for him had grown immensely. You could barely remember living with him; you were so young that only bits and pieces of your life then stuck with you. Most of your memories with him seemed to be happy, yet you couldn’t stand to even hear his name.

Although it was so long ago, you could still remember the day you and your mother left. She was crying, but being so young, you had no idea why. You were too young to understand why you’d moved, but a few years later your mom explained to you that she and Tony both decided it was best for both you and your mom to move away. She never went into detail why, saying it wasn’t her place to tell you, which led you to assume that Tony wanted to live out his playboy lifestyle with nothing holding him back, even if that meant abandoning his daughter in the process. The last time you spoke to your father was the day you moved out all those years ago.

You wake up and the sun light hits you right in the face right when you open your eyes. You turn around quickly and hold back a groan. You look over Billy and almost ‘awn’ out loud at the sight.

Your boyfriend, Billy, is sleeping peacefully on his back and your 2 year old daughter is sleeping on his chest, her chubby cheeks pressed on his skin and her parted lips make a way so a little drool falls into Billy.

You brush her curly hair out of her chubby cute face and Y/D/N hums into your touch.

It’s pretty late, but it’s Sunday so nobody is giving fuck about getting up early.

Y/D/N falls back into her deep sleep as you pull away and you look up at Billy. The peaceful look on his face just makes your smile come back.

You two found out that you were pregnant after you were almost graduating. Billy didn’t tell anyone and worked two jobs for a few months so the both of you could have enough money to survive alone. Your family was supportive and didn’t tell anyone either.

You two ended up getting an apartment not too far from Hawkins, since you didn’t have enough money to move to California, as Billy wanted.

Billy’s family think that you just left Hawkins together because you wanted to be independent.

It’s been 2 years since your baby girl was born, and you two now have full-time jobs and a better apartment. But … you two had another kid a half year ago, this time everything went way smoother, since you two didn’t need to stress over not having enough money for food and a place to stay.

A/n: Well shit I’ve been pumping out stories this weekend and I feel drained, tired but also happy. I’m just trying to deal with the gaping hole that season 3 left in my heart yo. 2 years of waiting gone in 2 days. This is going to be my last story for this weekend and imma just hope the batteries are recharged for next weekend haha. I thought the ending was a lil weird so please ignore that cause I didn’t want to have to make another entire segment about getting to the hospital and all that. Hope you like it!
