random riordanverse teeth headcanons for funsies:

actually starting out with not a hc - Percy's teeth aren't straight! He mentions in Sea of Monsters it as one of his insecurities ("[...] or the fact that my two front teeth weren’t perfectly even [...]") I just think that's fun and cute for him

Nico, Hazel, and Percy can all regenerate their teeth. Nico and Hazel for Hades/Pluto kid reasons and Percy for shark reasons. Percy's just regrow normally but Nico and Hazel have to willfully use their powers to grow it back. They can grow other people's teeth back too if they want to though.

Nico has fangs. Technically not "real" fangs but his canine teeth are just unusually sharp to the point where they look like little fangs. Hazel and Bianca perhaps can also have fangs as a treat :3 Hades kids with fangs...

Jason has fake teeth! Like three or so. Unfortunately humans are not built for biting random stuff super hard all the time and he sacrificed a couple teeth because of it.

(If he feels like it he can ask Nico or Hazel to grow his teeth back for him. It probably doesn't last long. Maybe one day he can get fancy fake teeth.)

Lacy has braces. Piper perhaps also had braces when she was younger and probably hated them.

Walt getting fangs when Anubis is present could be very fun.

Alex with fangs is also fun <3

Will was born without wisdom teeth, cause that's a thing that can happen. He's just never gonna grow 'em and ergo never need them removed.

so nico di angelo canonically has nightmares of his loved ones killing or hurting him but he most certainly also has dreams of them dying too. i know he’s woken up in a cold sweat, blinking away vibrant crimson red behind his eyes, the only way able to return back to sleep is pressed against will’s chest to hear his heartbeat. or if will wasn’t sleeping bedside him he’s jogging in the dead of night to the apollo cabin or infirmary, shoulders shaking. desperately aching to iris message hazel, he had to see her face alive and her chest rising. he knows he would know if someone was dead or dying, but he doesn’t trust himself enough as it is. he’s lived biancas death a thousand times over, ran into her room and crawled under her covers just to convince himself he hasn’t lost anyone else

Will Solace will not want to work as a doctor. That boy is so traumatized from being a field medic at such a young age and losing all his siblings.

He had to become Head of Cabin Seven and Head medic at 12 or 13, so he would have to be the person the campers go to when they're bleeding out or have a bone sticking out of their arm. He has all the pressure on him to save lives when he is just a teenager, and he should be living his life instead of having everyone in a camp counting on him to save others. So why would he want to continue to do so in the real world when he could be something else that's not so trauma-inducing

Will has a talent for healing, so I don't think he would leave the medical field

But I don't believe that he would be a doctor, but there are other opportunities that he could take, and not have to see gruesome wounds and people dying all the time

He could be a veterinarian. It can be gruesome at times, but I feel like Will loves animals and would love to take care of them, but he also gets to use his healing skills.

Or he could be a wildlife conservationist. Protecting Wild animals and wildlife. still doing some things in the medical field, but not as much as he would be doing as a Doctor

I have a strong feeling he would be a pediatric therapist (after healing his trauma), helping kids who have hard lives or those with mental disorders, because he wouldn't want kids and teens to go through what he went through when he was growing up
