no literally, it only took me 24 hours to get through part 5 of book 7 and in those chapters i cried too many times over silver and Sebek

I've managed and finished part 5 of Book 7 guys!

my heart still not recovered, but I've grown to appreciate Silver and Sebek even more so...

every time i see this art i am in awe and it just keeps getting better

A throwback and build up to the present day, to which I have finished painting the part five poster. This has been four years in the making…mainly due to the fact that I needed the inspiration to hit. Although I don’t draw as much Jojo as I used to, I still love the series dearly. And research for these posters has been a lot of childhood nostalgia from old gothic novels to Drew Struzan styles movie posters.

And so for part 6 it will likely take me a long time lol…who knows. But it’ll be a lot of fun to paint!

Do you think grim is smarter than he leads on? Like he's smart but refuses to show it or something like that

Definitely not?? For someone as egotistical and eager to prove himself as Grim is (he calls himself “great” and dreams of being a powerful mage), why wouldn’t he flex his smarts if he actually had them?

He doesn’t always want to do the work asked of him, but I get the sense that he genuinely overestimates his own abilities, (which is typically what lands him in trouble). This is a markedly different vibe than Leona’s laziness—where he can actually back up his attitude with intelligence and confidence. For example, if Grim truly was academically gifted but didn’t want to expend energy to study, he’d have found a workaround on his own to solve the problem (as Leona himself often does) or would be able to easily pass the test without studying at all. He wouldn’t get jebaited into asking Azul for help.

Grim is not a feline mastermind that could ace exams and manipulate everyone if he just applied himself. He’s not a schemer like how many other TWST boys are presented. He’s just a little meowmeow that wants to eat well, and that’s honestly fair 😭 Grim’s strengths lie in his loyalty to his friends!!
