his death’s avenger; his father’s son
[ID: an illustration of riz from fantasy high, poised dramatically on an enormous red dragon’s head, as he stabs it through the skull with a black sword. the background is a bright yellow, and contrasts starkly with riz’s enormous shadow, cast behind him. riz is a tiny green but well-dressed goblin, wearing a button-up, vest, tie, pants and nice shoes. determined, riz glares fiercely at the dragon, which is rendered in high detail and growls at riz, mouth open. the second image is zoomed in on riz, perched above the dragon’s eye.]
this!! this was the first thing i thought of when penny said that nobody needs a rogue.
riz, trying to be the Best Investigator because even if they don’t need a rogue they sure as hell need that. riz, who cares about people so much he will tear his hands apart to get to them, but still sees his value in being useful above else
penny who strives for the best and achieves the most because nobody really needs a rogue and riz who works hard to make himself useful so his friends won't leave
"In hindsight letting myself get involved with a vampire had probably been a bad idea, but the little guy had such a way with words it was hard not to find that pretty mouth of his persuasive."
