—you must have lost all hope for your life/well-being if you were to try this. Previous punishments resulted in broken bones or Ferid forcing himself on you so that you would “make up” to him for doing what you’re aren’t told. So, instead of waiting around for a savior—you decide to kill him or injure him at least.

—you didn’t get far, as soon as you stroked him with your dominant hand—he moved back, quickly. You knew he was a vampire but you swore that you caught him off guard this time, you were wrong. “Ah, you’re causing trouble again. I thought we solved this last time, but apparently not.”

—Ferid fractured your hand. “This will teach you to not attack your lover, ever again.”

⤷ Shinya

—Shinya was teaching you how to shoot, to defend yourself when he wasn’t around. The only thing you wanted to defend yourself from was him. You managed to persuade him to get you out of the house, and into an open field. This plan took a while to forge but you had it nailed down in your mind.

—As soon as Shinya taught you how to shoot, you immediately turned around to shoot Shinya with his shotgun. Shinya reacts quickly disarming you with the gun and head-butting you with the stock. You stumble back from the impact and the pain. Blood starts to drip down from your nose and you assumed he broke it. You feel a sharp pain in your shoulder as Shinya infects you with some type of drug.

—you wake up in the room that you always end up in, after trying so hard to get away from it. “You’ll be coming out when I can completely trust you.” Shinya walks out of the room and locks the cemented door behind him, leaving you trapped once again.

—Very attentive and aware of his surroundings, so it’s hard to pin him down. Mikaela swears that every time he takes his eyes off of you, you’re up to something to ruin your relationship with him. Don’t you understand that these vampires can hurt you? He will protect you, but you’re not allowing him to do that.

—Mikaela prepared dinner for you and sat down at the table across from you. A small table. As usual, you don’t utter any words and play with the chains on your wrists. The cuffs make imprints on your wrists—telling a story of how long they’ve been on. Mikaela only had to take extreme measures because of your last attempt. You pick up your fork and poke the edge of the wooden table with it. “Aren’t you going to eat?” Mikaela words ring in your ears and you turn your head towards him.

— Food isn’t on your mind, killing him is. You don’t think as you stab his hand that’s resting on the table, and you aren’t taken aback when he doesn’t react to it. You don’t freeze—you run. You run to the nearest exit knowing how to get free without a key. You don’t make it in time though as you’re pulled by your leg and you hit your head on the ground—making you unconscious.

—you wake up, tied to the bed, and see Mikaela, In front of the bed, sitting in a chair while twisting a knife in his hands. “Finally awake?” He looks up and those blonde locks cover his lifeless blue eyes once again. “I just wanted to give you a heads up, you’ll feel extreme amounts of pain from what I’m about to do to you.”

Jade Leech :

He of course hates it. The feeling of the tightness in one's chest, the need for peace to be resolved. The utter feelings of jealousy are not a foreign one of his. Seeing your beautiful eyes wander away from him- and onto a brand new specimen.

Jade views this as competition, he aches for this new student to be gone. It gets even worse if he were to see you two talking. Though this whole ideal is frustrating... he can't help but chuckle. So this is the familiar jealousy that is seen in all of those teen dramas? Hilarious.

Jade seriously can't forgive himself for being this weak, but for you, he'll keep wearing a smile while you and the new student talk.

It was exactly when period 2 was going to end. You and the new kid were talking to each other since you both had a project for ELA that you both had to make up. As you both were getting ready to leave the classroom, you were then stopped as you noticed Jade walking inside the classroom.

He had a nice smile as he walked to you and the new kid. Jade then stood looking directly at the student with jealous eyes. "Hello, I'm Jade Leech. I have come to inform you that you'll no longer be working with Y/N-san." The students' face morph into confusion and annoyance.

"What do you exactly mean-... Jade-Senpai?" The students' questions with a dramatic sigh at the end. Jade's eyes then narrow as he looks down at the student, partly figuring out what to say as his excuse for this students’ persistence. Jade exhales dramatically as he continues to show this new student that he's not a spineless person.

"Trein-Sensei has made a mistake with the partner arrangements... Yes, I know he said them himself but we all make mistakes. It's proven. See? These are the list of names that he was reading off when he announced the partners." Jade says in a fake disappointed tone as he holds up a piece of paper in front of you and the new student.

Jade chuckles inside as he looks at the students' shocked and embarrassed face. And then watches as the student grabs his stuff and goes to look for his partner instead. You look at Jade confused, but not surprised. He chuckles evilly to himself as he smiles, "Now then- shall we go to your dorm to start our project, Y/N-Chan?"

Idia Shroud :

This introvert feels nothing but ick. He stares at the new student with disgust and jealousy. It's too embarrassing to go through this! Idia can't help but want to go up to his newly found rival and tell him to find his own waifu.

But of course, Idia is an introvert and curses himself for this. Especially for times like this. While you and the new student are talking, he's too busy making a plan for your attention to get off of the new student. Oh, how he just wishes that you weren't the main character.

He's lost in his own thoughts of jealousy and envy. Trying to make it not so obvious that he's staring daggers at the unknowing student. Comparing this whole scenario to one in an anime. Idia then gets an idea and grins evilly.

But then later as you and the new student are hanging out at lunch, in the corner of your eye you see Idia nervously walking towards the both of you. The student notices you staring at something and frowns. Idia then stands next to you and fidgets with his fingers.

"Y/N-Shi... D-Do you want to play this new game with me?..." Idia voices quietly, but enough for you to hear. You chuckle to yourself as you then nod. Meanwhile the new student pouts, "Y/N-Senpai...~ Aren't we supposed to study for Crewel-Sensei's new test together?"

The new student voices as they then pout while looking at you. Idia is taken aback and annoyed, did you not tell this new student that you two were dating? He's on the brink of his hair turning orange here. Idia groans and mutters to himself, "Seriously?..."

It seems like they both want your attention.

You then sigh and look at the new student, tired. "Sorry about this '(Student)'-kun, but we'll have to push our study sesh' later, okay? I barely get to hang out with my boyfriend anymore. You understand it right?"

Both Idia and the new students' eyes were surprised at your sudden bold move of calling Idia your boyfriend. Idia slightly smiles to himself as he looks at you lovingly in his burning yellow eyes. Finally feeling like he won the battle of being jealous.

The new student sighs disappointingly as he then backs off, looking at the table in defeat. Idia then puts his sleeves over his mouth as he looks at you, "You didn't have to go all out you know... you hurt the guys' ego." He mutters to you, ending with a chuckle at the end.

You shrug as you whisper to him, "It was going to happen either way," You say bluntly as Idia can't help but try to contain his smile after your display of bluntness. "Now what game was it that you wanted us to play together?" You then announce.

Vil Schoenheit :

Jealousy... What an ugly emotion. Vil knows the feeling and the description of jealousy all too well. It's one of his most common emotions in fact. He had feuds all of his life. Whether that'll be with a co-worker, fellow students, film directors, or even a certain someone.

Vil though is extremely blunt with his own jealousy. His mind is basically planning to make everyone in the whole room know that he is jealous. Though he can't exactly blame you for being interested in a new person, that's how he met you after all.

But it's just this new student that strikes a nerve with him. The way that you two look at each other... the way that the student looks at you... it's annoying. Vil feels too embarrassed to talk about this to anyone, except to anyone but Rook.

Vil rants on and on about this newfound drama about you and this new student during his one-on-one time with Rook in every Alchemy class. Telling Rook that this new student is stealing you away from him explaining everything dramatically.

"Roi du Poison... I never saw you so stressed before that time at the VDC. You need to calm down before you get wrinkles." Rook then explains to Vil, but it is to no avail because Vil is on his last straw. It has been only 3 days and Vil was already putting that new student on his watch-list.

"I have no idea what to do Rook, Y/N hasn't even complimented me on my new choice of makeup today. That new student is taking all of their attention away from me." Vil glares at Rook as he tightens his hand around the bottle of chemicals that he is holding.

"How is it fair that Y/N finds that new student more interesting than me? They're plain. Their hair, fashion, and don't even get me started on the monstrosity that they call their own makeup." Vil complains with his eyes full of rage, not even realizing how hard he is holding onto the bottle of chemicals.

Rook's eyes widen at the sudden interruption of Vil's thoughts, as his face shifts into worry. "Vil, please. I think you might be overthinking this." Vil then glares at Rook as he takes the bottle of chemicals away from his gloved hands. But it's just then that Vil suddenly gets an idea.

"That's it... I'll have to get Y/N to ignore that new student! Putting a simple spell on that new student- haha~ This is the best idea I've had in a while~~" Vil laughs to himself as Rook looks at him, confused and not surprised.

"Roi du Poison, I know you think this is a good idea to talk about this- but our classwork may be more important right now. We wouldn't want it exploding would we?" Rook sighs as he then smiles at Vil and puts his hands on his hips.

"Now if you could please, Roi du Poison- hand over the vial on the shelf so this potion doesn't explode everywhere. Ruining your hair and makeup." And with a swift motion- Vil then rushes gracefully and grabs the vile.

Malleus Draconia :

The one and only most possessive dragon that there is at NRC. He would have never known about this new student, but since he is a Dormleader Lilia has told him about it during lounge hours. It intrigued him, a new student? In the middle of a school year? He never knew that late registrations were a thing at NRC.

He smiled to himself as he asked for details from Lilia, wondering if this new student was going to be in his dorm. To which Lilia responded by saying that they weren't, and instead they were going to be in Ramshackles'.

His eyes widened in surprise as he wondered if you already met this student. Malleus then went back to drinking his tea as he walked to his dorm room. Moments later when Malleus was minding his own business reading a book in his chair by a window, Sebek suddenly burst through the door.

Malleus glances at Sebek from his book, slightly annoyed, and speaks up. "What is it, Sebek?" He says calmly, furrowing his brows at Sebek's scared face. Sebek tries to catch his breath as he puts his hands on his knees. "Young Master! I have some bad news!" Sebek shouted as loud as thunder, causing crows to leave their trees.

Malleus raises one of his eyebrows as he then shuts his book, placing it on his lap. "What is it, Sebek? I trust that it is something urgent this time. Otherwise, you'll have to report this to Lilia." As Malleus's eyes drift back to opening his book, Sebek then suddenly yells very loudly.

"Young Master! I have come to inform you that your... partner- Y/N has found interest in someone else! This is urgent!" Malleus' eyes are suddenly shot open by this bold statement, but before he can say anything he is interrupted by his own thoughts about whether Sebek was truly telling the truth.

"If you pardon me, Sebek," Malleus said as he closed his eyes, getting up from his chair and walking out of his room, and downstairs to the entrance of Diasomnia.

It was then exactly 9 p.m. You and the new student were studying in the lounge area when you both suddenly heard a knock. You then get up from your seat on the couch as you walk to the door. The new student watched the door open cautiously from his seat.

Once you open the door you see a disappointed Malleus, he frowns at you as he looks over to the open door to the lounge. His eyes widen as he glares at the new student then changes his stare back to you. "Child of man... If I may ask, are you cheating on me?" Malleus' normal face slowly turns back into a frown as he looks at you.

"Huh? No, of course not." You say bluntly as you look up at Malleus and smile. Even though Malleus wasn't buying it so much, he could tell you weren't doing anything like cheating based on your voice. Malleus then sighs and retreats his gloomy and slightly angered attitude.

"That's good to hear... I was afraid for once that Sebek was saying something true." Malleus then slightly smiles and laughs to himself. The new student looks over at the two of you confused, "Y/N?? Are you good?" You look back at the new student as you then turn to Malleus.

"Think that's my cue. I'll send you a letter later, okay?" You rush as you then wave and try to close the door. But instead, Malleus then holds the door open. "Malleus?" You question with your head tilted as you get interrupted suddenly by a fast grab at your hand. Before you could even say anything you felt Malleus press his lips against yours.

He insists, cutting you off. The small beat of silence is enough to deafen both of you, but you continue with a deep breath,

"..Veritas. Please. I can't ever consider this so please stop asking me–"

"I am begging, [Name]. Do you think any person of social standing would be on their knees right now?"

He looks at you with fervor in his eyes, brows tense from anxiety and poorly hidden desperation,

"[Name], just think."

Another beat of silence. He takes it as his initiative to continue,

"Think about what I am willing to offer. Imagine every detail of the life I am offering to you, [Name]. I am pleading to you."

The grip of his sturdy hands tightens over your knees, digging into the hollow where your bones end,

"Doct– Veritas, I.. can't. You know I can't accept such a condition.."

Your hands nervously but gently try to push his off, crescent marks forming from the digging of his nails into the thin skin of your knees, but he doesn't budge. His palms form warm sweat on the skin from the prolonged contact, not daring to move an inch. His chin ghosts the inside of your thighs, as he leans over more, looking up at you.

"[Name], we can go over this many, many times. You should have already come to know of my desperation. I will make compromises, so make up your mind. Time is a thin, linear membrane that continuously flows and awaits for none."

His eyebrows furrow even more, the nervous desperation being slowly replaced by irritation, and anger. Your back has started to ache from how tensed up you've been, your neck hurts from being held at an awkward angle, looking at Veritas. Just how long have you both been talking?

"I.. I don't know, Veritas.."

You've mentioned his first name this time, without any mishaps. Progress. Slow, but progress – he notes.

"I have made a multitude of compromises to our situation and agreement. Are you really not satisfied? What do you exactly desire?"

His tone is warning. He knows what you may say, and what you have been for the past several times. You know despite having him on his knees, he's the one deciding and placing every piece of the puzzle anyway. He won't extend any mercy to you.

"I.."

You bite your lip.

Freedom. You want to be out of his grip. Once and for all.

He knows.

He doesnt care.

"..Nothing. I just.. need some more time. Please."

Your voice comes out a bit softer than before. His grip relaxes on your knees, the skin finally decompressing a bit, given the extra space. The air sneaks in from small gaps, cooling down the skin coated with a thin layer of sweat.

"I trust.. you will make the right decision."

Riddle was more than a little distraught when he found out that Floyd was also interested in you. He didn’t find out from happenstance, oh no, he found out from Floyd himself, which somehow put him more on edge.

You and Riddle were partnered up by Professor Trein to research an important historical figure who was not one of the Seven. What’s more was that none of you could use the internet, since Trein wanted you all to experience the feeling of what it was like in his day. As you two flipped through history books and swapped ideas, Riddle tried and failed to hide the creeping redness on his ears, he heard the dreaded call of “Goldfishie? Is that you?”

Floyd came strolling over, uniform as rumpled and untidy as ever, and when he drew nearer, he grinned, showing off his set of razor teeth. “Oh, oh! And it’s Angelfish too!”

“Angelfish?” Riddle muttered under his breath, looking between you and Floyd as the two of you exchanged smiles.

“Are you two doing Professor Red Squid’s assignment?”

“Yeah, we’re partners,” you said. While you didn’t see it, Riddle swore he saw Floyd’s eyes narrow ever-so-slightly in his direction.

Floyd hummed, glare still locked on Riddle. “Y’know, I missed that class when we were assigned partners… Professor Red Squid said I should just find a group to join. If Jade was in the class, I would’ve partnered with him, but he’s not.”

You and Riddle glanced at each other and before Riddle could open his mouth to say that Floyd could not join your group because you had already started working together and he wasn’t needed, you chimed in, “Why don’t you join our group?”

This was one of the only times Riddle rued your caring nature.

“Aww,” Floyd cooed, leaning over the table and close to you. “That’s so kind of you! Yay, I’ll be working with Angelfish and Goldfishie!”

Riddle frowned and Floyd plopped himself down in the seat on the other side of the table. You sighed, standing. “I think we should find some other books. None of these have anything we can work with.”

“Ooh, I remember seeing a book in the third aisle from the left, all the way down,” Floyd said. “I think I remember Azul saying it was pretty informative or something. It’s got a blue and purple spine.”

“I’ll go look,” you said, gathering the books. Riddle stood to help you, but Floyd said, “Sit and catch me up on what you’ve got.”

Riddle huffed and sat back down, watching your figure disappear into between bookcases. Floyd waved his hand at Riddle to get his attention again and said, “You seem pretty sweet on them, Goldfishie.”

Riddle’s blush quickly spread from his ears to the rest of his face. “I—!”

“Normally, I’d be thrilled for you,” Floyd said, though Riddle doubted that very much, “but, you see, I like them too.”

Riddle went still, gazing shooting up to meet Floyd’s. “Is that so?” he asked, fingers twitching a little.

Floyd smirked. “Yep. They’re quite the catch, aren’t they?” His stare slid from Riddle to where you were sitting before. “Why don’t we make this easy for us, Goldfishie, and spare us the unpleasantries?”

“And how would we go about doing that?” Riddle asked, teeth clenching.

Floyd tilted his head and eyes grew frigid. “Stay away from my angelfish and we should have no problem.”

“Your angelfish? The last I remembered, they’re their own person.”

“Sure, but they’re my angelfish all the same.”

Riddle glared. “I’m sorry, Floyd, but I won’t stay away from them, whatever you do or say.”

“Aww, I was really hoping we could stay friends and skip anything bad,” Floyd said. “But I guess we’ll have to do this the hard way.”

Bold of you to assume he was sleeping in the first place. Lilia was playing the equivalent of Overwatch in Twisted Wonderland when you suddenly asked him to go to the nearest McDonald's. He agreed instantly, and now you're both on a date, with you eating fries and Lilia eating a strawberry sundae and a cheeseburger..

★﹕ORTHO SHROUD (platonic)

He agreed instantly. Can robots even feel tired in the first place? Ortho will search on the internet for coupons and promos, but first let him equip his eating gear; he wants to eat too. Everything for his best friend. By the way, he wants to buy something for Idia too.

★﹕ROOK HUNT

Rook got out of bed even before you even mentioned you wanted to go out, he woke up when he felt you were awake. Rook is a light sleeper; he can even feel when you wake up to go to the bathroom. If you really want a meal at McDonald's, who is he to say no? It makes him happy to see you happy, but he will stare while drinking his strawberry shake. Not a "I'm judging you" stare, but a "I like to see you enjoy your meal" stare.

★﹕MALLEUS DRACONIA

He has probably eaten McDonald's at least once because Lilia bought the whole of Diasomnia burgers. Alright, you're both going. Yes, he's still a little confused over why you would crave a really cheap burger at 3 am, but Malleus doesn't even care; the burgers are good and he enjoys indulging in human customs, plus he gets to see you smile. The only bad thing is that the employees got the fright of their lives when they saw the literal prince of Briar Valley enter the restaurant.

★﹕SILVER

Still sleepy, he agreed. There are times when he randomly awakes during the night, so he might as well spend it with you, even if it was at a fast food restaurant at 3 am. He'll order an iced coffee and some fries and listen to you while you speak about whatever comes to mind. You'll both have to make it quick though, he may fall asleep there, and you both need to get back before classes start.

★﹕DEUCE SPADE

He didn't even understand what you were saying; his mind was still foggy from being woken up so late. He said yes, not knowing what he was agreeing with, but a few minutes later he realized what he agreed to. Deuce, not wanting to have gotten your hopes up only for him to say no, got up and accompanied you anyway. He still enjoyed himself though, as long as he is with you, he's happy.

★﹕RUGGIE BUCCHI

He's tired because of how many errands Leona made him do yesterday, but you know what? He will still go. Food is food, and he could never refuse it. Leona lets him grab his credit card anyway, so order whatever you want, Leona will pay, even if he doesn't know that. It's not like he checks his credit card's expenses, so don't worry about it.

★﹕JACK HOWL

When he confessed to you a few months ago, he didn't expect that would mean signing up for you waking him up in the middle of the night, asking him to accompany you to eat fast food outside of campus. Still, he's your boyfriend, and he can't let you go alone, it's dangerous. Even if he doesn't feel like ordering anything, he will sit there with you until you finish your meal, chatting with you in the meantime.

★﹕ACE TRAPPOLA

You're lucky he loves you too much; he would have said no if you were another person. So now Ace is sitting at McDonald's, almost falling asleep while eating some nuggets. That one song they keep replaying will haunt him in his dreams; it got stuck in his head for like, a week. Riddle reprimanded him the next day for falling asleep during history class.

★﹕CATER DIAMOND

Out of everything he could have expected a person to say at 3 am, it certainly wasn't "I want to go to McDonald's". Cater takes a selfie with you inside and uploads it to his Magicam story, the close friends one, so Riddle doesn't realize he wasn't at the dorm. He still has no idea how you came up with this, but ok, it was for the funsies.

★﹕SEBEK ZIGVOLT

No, he has to make sure nobody attacks Malleus while he's sleeping. But with some reassurance from Lilia (and him asking Sebek to bring him a burger) and his love for you, he decided to accompany you. He'll ask for the biggest burger since he has a big appetite. He did enjoy it at the end; 10/10 would do it again (but he won't say that out loud).

★﹕KALIM AL-ASIM

He doesn't mind that you woke him up, and he would like to go, but there's a small problem: he isn't allowed to go anywhere without Jamil, which means he would need to wake him up. Jamil wouldn't be happy about that, and Kalim doesn't want to bother him either. So you both just order takeout and give the delivery guy a very generous tip.

Idia was awake, but he really doesn't want to go, and he's also farming for an event. Great, now he's craving McDonald's too. If you really want to go, you can have Ortho accompany you, but please bring him a chicken sandwich and some fries. You can use his debit card to pay.

He was not in a good mood after being woken up in the middle of the night. Floyd won't let you go, squeezing you so hard that you can't even move away from the bed. You're not going anywhere the whole night, and if you still want the meal, you can order some in the Mostro Lounge tomorrow.

It's 3 am, what the heck. Leona says Ruggie can buy you some tomorrow; ask for as much as food as you want, but not at 3 am. He will fall asleep on top of you, so you can't even move, just in case you try to sneak out while he sleeps.

No, please, he's tired. He did so much work yesterday: laundry, cooking, folding clothes, tutoring Kalim, paperwork for an upcoming event, and preparing for an exam. He just wants to rest for at least a few hours. Go back to sleep, please. He promises he'll cook you a burger with some fries tomorrow. His cooking is way superior to fast food anyway.

"No, that's unhealthy", he says. Somebody buy him a happy meal or something, Riddle has probably never eaten fast food in his life. Either way, there's class tomorrow, and he would never forgive himself if he arrived late to a lesson. So no, you aren't going anywhere.

Why would you want to eat at McDonalds when he has a literal restaurant? Are you trying to buy from the competition? Now Azul is offended at 3 am, so offended that he dragged you to the kitchen to make you a meal resembling the McDonald's one just to prove Mostro Lounge's food is better.

Excuse you? Not only did you interrupt his beauty sleep, but you want to go eat McDonald's'? It's 3 am, please go back to sleep or you'll get dark circles. Lack of sleep is bad for your skin, and he won't take the risk, much less to eat unhealthy food.
