As a global citizen, beyond borders, beyond political affiliations - whatever could be done from our end in terms of relief aid should not be missed. The grievance of losing one's dear & never can never be compensated. At least, we could do something to better their emergency needs.
And if nothing is possible, then one heart felt prayer to alleviate the aftermath of this event.
May the world be one in their phase of affliction & trial.

hello. for those who don’t know, i’m from turkey. and if you’ve seen the news, we as a country are going through the hardest days of our recent lives because of an earthquake of 7.7 in magnitude in the southeastern region of the country. thanks heavens i live in the northwest and i am safe, yet i am worried about those in danger and now trying my best to help them. so here i am to spread their news. the death toll is currently 3702 and is still expected to rise more in the upcoming hours, there are over 20.000 injured people and over 6.000 damaged buildings in 10 cities. the country declared national mourning for 7 days as of yesterday.
so we need your help by any means. money, supply support, thoughts and prayers… anything would be the best of help at this point. (text me for information about trustable charities if you want to donate.)

You might know, I'm from Turkey and we were hit by two massive earthquakes almost 48 hours ago. I fortunately live far away, so I'm safe but so many people need help.
I normally don't make a post like this, but I've been crying and trying to help donation supplies to be packed all day with my friends and now all I can see on the news is people still not receiving help, people who don't even have money.
Everyone is trying to organize what little help we can, on social media, sharing missing person names, help locations, and basically trying to save each other.
People are trying to save each other, reaching out on Twitter on their phones telling their home addresses and they're stuck while under rubble and all we can see is them tweeting it's getting cold and they still can't have help etc and it's breaking everyone's hearts. There's mourning all over my country.
The thing I am saying is, if you can, please donate.
The Ahbap organization, which is a civilian organization, is the MOST TRUSTED one, and they're the most reliable way to know your donation has reached it's place.
Their website doesn't have an English option, but your browser should be able to translate it to whatever language you prefer, since I tested it and it translates to English from Turkish accurately.

And that's their donation page on the website, the highest option which is 200 Turkish liras, is around equals to 11 USD or 10 euro roughly, and it's around the price of a blanket (which is needed, because the temperatures are below zero *Celsius* in the effected area and people won't survive without help)
You know what makes my blood boil? Seeing people to say "Oh do not donate Turkey they will not help the minorities here" "The government deserved that"
Fuck you from bottom of my heart. All the lives we lost in these 10 city, all the lives STİLL waiting to be rescued under crashed buildings, all the voices say "Can anybody hear my voice?", are PEOPLE. Our people. No matter what they call theirselves Turk Kurd Syrian Muslim Ateist Christian they all causes same pain in our heart, all the soldiers, volunteers, the rescue teams of our own and the ones came from other countries works tiredlessly for everyone equally.
Just today 3000 people died. İf you cant understand what does that means, shut the fuck up.

The UOSSM, which provides emergency medical relief and health care services to Syrian people, made an urgent appeal for assistance on Monday morning.
“The news we are seeing is terrifying and heartbreaking,” said Dr. Khaula Sawah, the president of UOSSM in the US, in a statement. “We know building infrastructures in Syria have already been compromised from years of bombing campaigns. We need urgent aid immediately so we can help save the lives of those injured in this massive earthquake. Our staff is working tirelessly but are overwhelmed with the numbers of casualties. We need urgent support immediately. Countless lives are at stake.”

Guys a major 7.8 Earthquake just hit Turkey and could be felt strongly across Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and even Egypt.
Many dead and hundreds trapped under collapsed buildings in those nations.T here’s already bad weather in Turkey that could now hinder search and rescue efforts.
Death toll has reached 190.

This i write will become outdated yet, right now: Gaziantep, Hatay and Antakya are the most damaged, difficult for rescuers to get in, and disconnected. It snows heavily as well. So far we know there are happenning aftershocks right now in several cities, reaching Adana and Mersin. Aleppo and Idlib have suffered it strongly as well.

Like this talk of new characters is revealing some gross shit in the fandom tbh.
1) Not everyone who is playing Obey Me is a woman. Like yes a female character would be great for women who love women but you know men and nb people who love women also play this game right?
2) Why do all of you seem to think MC is a woman? They’re not. They can be literally anything because they are a sheep. And we as the players get to decide what they are for ourselves- but not for anyone else.
3) Even if MC was a woman, that wouldn’t mean a female character would automatically be her rival? Don’t be sexist, and also, the female character could be a lesbian or something.
4) Also, why are we assuming a female character would want to date the boys anyway? Literally nothing has been confirmed about this yet so why are we jumping to that assumption?
5) On that note, we don’t even know if it IS a female character. Stop assuming people with that body type have to be women.
And as I already said on another post, the boys like all genders. So a male or nb character could also hypothetically be a rival to the MC.
I’m excited about the new characters personally. And I get y'all are excited too. But I’m already seeing bad and concerning takes about them and I’m already getting irritated to be honest.
