I think that one of the funniest things about Legolas (especially in the movies) is that he’s literally the only Elvish prince in all of Middle-Earth but everyone treats him like he’s just a random guy. And he ACTS like just a random guy as well which makes it even better

14th doctor headcannons: TARDIS EDITION

When the TARDIS upgraded she made sure there were a bunch of ramps everywhere because the doctor gets the zoomies sometimes and needs to run around in excitement (^_^)

and also because WHEELCHAIR ACCESS yaaas baby

On April fools, she moves all of the ramps exactly one centimetre to the left (the doctor tries to run across them and immediately faceplants) (The TARDIS recorded it and sent it to Donna)

there's technically a bedroom on board but when the doctor does sleep he likes to curl up under the control console because he says he can 'feel her heartbeat'

it became the only way he could fall alseep without nightmares

one time Donna found him there and practically melted

she can play music but only does so for comedic effect (she likes ABBA the most)

The Doctor: Okay, I don't exactly have a plan, per say, but I'm sure I'll come up with something in the moment...

The TARDIS: 🎶 Mama Mia ! Here we go again !

She has a photo she took of Donna, Rose (Noble) and The Doctor all laughing together that she doesn't show anyone but keeps just in case she gets separated from the Doctor again and gets lonely

The 14th Doctor's Adventures

So, it's time for a little theory that may spiral into its own AO3 fic. My theory on what 14 uses his TARDIS for in his own time. Like 15 suggested, he uses it for therapy. 14 chooses his solo travel, not for adventure but for closure.

His first stop is to his oldest friend. He takes the TARDIS back to 2011, wearing a perception filter so he isn't mistaken for 10. And 14 attends the funeral of Brigadier, Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. He stands in the back, out of sight. He mourns and grieves, letting himself stop and feel. He pays his respects to The Brig and says goodbye, promising to watch over his family. Then he catches sight of Sarah Jane and knows his next stop, another old friend.

He takes the TARDIS forward from 2011 to 2017, from one funeral to another. Still wearing the perception filter, 14 stands on a nearby hill, watching and hearing the funeral of Sarah Jane Smith. And like his old friend Jo Grant said, it breaks both his hearts. 14 leaves a TARDIS key and a version of his sonic screwdriver on Sarah Jane's grave and turns away. Unlike The Brig's funeral, 14's grief over Sarah Jane is raw and quiet. He steps away and simply whispers

"Goodbye. My Sarah Jane" and then leaves for The TARDIS, to a much happier location. 14 uses The TARDIS to attend every single major event he missed from his companions lives.

He visits Jamie McCrimmon back in 19th century Scotland, finding his old friend regained his memories in his twilight years and the two embrace and catch up with each other.

He attends weddings of his friends, Martha and Mickey, Tegan and Nysaa, Jack and River (that one throws him off slightly). He dances and laughs and lets himself feel.

He visits Chiswick in the late 2000s, standing outside the hospital and seeing Donna and Shaun leave, carrying a tiny little baby that he knows will one day be Rose Noble.

He's there for Kate Stewart after her father is gone, explaining how he was there, that he's a future Doctor. 14 lets Kate scream and shout at him and then cry on his shoulder, just holds her.

14 visits Jack Harkness after he lost both his grandson Steven and Ianto Jones and helps his friend. He drags Jack up out of his depression and helps him, even letting Jack hate him and blame him, for which Jack later apologises for.

14 goes back again to 1970's New Jersey and breaks the rules, visiting Amy and Rory in their later life. He meets their adoptive son and talks about everything that's happened to both of them, reassuring them he saved River in the end and spent 24 years in the same place as her at the end of their time together.

While 15 is off amongst the stars, fighting robots and racism and shapeshifters and Gods of Chaos, 14 is bouncing all around Earth, dropping in on old friends and healing broken trust. He goes everywhere, everywhen for everyone. He is The Doctor in a way he never was before. And he loves every minute of it.

I just realized something:

OKAY so in one of my headcannons I mentioned how Aziraphale and Crowley danced in the rain together...

Crowley: "A sudden rainstorm forces them beneath a canopy - they look into each others eyes and realize they were made for each other."

Aziraphale: "People would gather and do some formal dancing and then realize they had misunderstood each other and were actually deeply in love."

dancing in the rain is literally both of their ideas of falling in love combined T_T

good omens headcannon: THE BENTLEY EDITION

and yes, I've fully committed to the Bentley being a sentient entity

we all know this car is Aziracrow's child a (they have a custody agreement)

Crowley gets worried that the Bentley loves Aziraphale more than him (Aziraphale will neither confirm nor deny) so sometimes he'll randomly treat the her to of those really fancy deep cleans where they get all shiny and nice

he calls it her 'spa day'

although the Bentley loves Queen, she has recently taken a liking to Hozier as well

one time when Crowley was brooding during a drive she played From Eden and made him cry

she made sure she had tissues always stocked in the glove box from then on

The Bentley has a secret playlist she plays whenever Aziraphale and Crowley are driving together

it's called "dads <3"

the very last song on it is A Nightingale Sang in Barkley Square

Thank you so much for the ask!!! I haven't seen any of number 12 yet so here are some of my headcannons for the 14th doctor:

loves raw marshmallows but refuses to toast them on the grounds that "there are some things in this world that should never be toasted"

once shoved 23 marshmallows in his mouth at the same time

don't ask us how he did it

Donna gave him a hot pink fidget spinner that used to be Rose's and he sat there spinning it for 30 minutes straight

he calls it his 'emotional support fidget spinner'

One time he tried to 'upgrade' it to become a sonic fidget spinner and accidentally made it spin so fast one of the spinners came off and crashed into a TARDIS light

after talking to Rose about gender one evening she gave him a little He/They pronoun pin that was TARDIS blue

he hugged her like 5 times in a row and pinned it to his coat super proudly

speaking of his coat he doesn't sleep very often but when he does he uses the coat like a blanket and curls up under it like a kid

Donna starts calling it his 'safety blanket'
