OTP MEME ♥ 1/2 scenes The almost-kiss.
WYLER SEASON 2 AU: Tyler felt their supposed bond snap and become tethered to someone else as soon as Laurel took her last breath. After escaping the van, Tyler follows the Addams family hearse to the Addams Family mansion. He interrupts Wednesday's stroll through the forest and tries to explain everything that happened, and all that Laurel did to him. The Hyde longs for his master while the human side of Tyler wants to beg for her forgiveness, but Wednesday is having none of it. Morticia and Gomez are of course, thrilled that a serial-killing monster is pursuing their daughter and offer Tyler a room immediately. The Addamses love Tyler, and Wednesday is the only one who refuses to interact with him. But that doesn't stop Tyler from inserting himself in Wednesday's business.
I'm not sure but I just realized...maybe...
-Since Wednesday’s visions were based off of her personality spectrum, she still had a little doubt about Tyler, (we all know she’s a skeptical person) but not in a way that she’s suspicious he’s a bad person (or maybe our girl really was doubting hard that's why she saw it idk) That’s why she saw it in her vision, but still taken-aback by what she saw. (refers to the kiss at Weathervane, him being the Hyde)
(It’s a wonder why Wednesday didn’t have any bad visions about Tyler on the first episodes, probably because she trusted him, until she had a little suspicion or reassessment about him, since she was thinking of giving their relationship or him a chance to be more than friends.)
hear the lines? when Tyler said about Xavier "pretty nuts, like he always seem so normal for an outcast."
then Wednesday continues with "It has made me reevaluate things." this is just me taking a wild guess but what if Wednesday doesn't really believe that Xavier is the Hyde or the bad guy in this situation, but since all the evidence points to him, she has no other way of proving that it isn't really him.
Then she goes "Like who I can trust." when he asks, evaluate like what things bbygurl?
Maybe Tyler thought that he's off her radar since Xavier is literally in jail, (poor boy, bless his paints) so he assumed that Wednesday is there to discuss being more than friends, or hang out whatever. Then, she steps forward and initiate a kiss. Then voila, moments after, she has a vision that he's the Hyde (killing his therapist specifically, I also wonder why of all he has killed, why did Wednesday see that scene in particular?)
What really kills me though is Tyler's constant bugging Wednesday to be closer to her or in a certain proximity, (since her visions are mostly triggered with touch or when the person or a related thing is near her) maybeee hoping that she'll have a vision that he's indeed the Hyde, and help him before its too late or just to have someone understand his situation. And Wednesday here in this scene is doubting him and maybe hoping that he wasn't the Hyde because she's already attached or have feelings for him, even though it doesn't sit right to her that she presumably captured the wrong guy.
(never getting over this scene btw)

Wednesday, Tyler and Sheriff Galpin are searching this spooky house/mansion/building in search of something but all of a sudden Wednesday feels her stalkers presence and alerts the other two.
And the Sheriff's just like,
Donovan: Geez Addams, who in there right mind would be this obsessed with you?
And Wednesday's just like,
Wednesday: Well, I caught your son didn't I?
Tyler: . . . . . . .

Plot twist. When Tyler is running off at the meeting house, a full grown lion shows up and blocks him. Wednesday catches up to the hyde staring at this *fucking lion wtf" dumbfounded and she's just like: Kitty?!
Kitty ran away and tracked Wednesday down because she missed her and demanded scritches.
She gets her scritches.
Tyler, hyperventilating: 911? My wife is in labor
Operator: Sir, is this her first child?
Tyler, panicked: NO THIS IS HER HUSBAND-
Tyler: Oh, by the way, if you ever speak disrespectfully again about Wednesday I'll kill you.
Tyler, laughing: Sorry, that sounded like a joke. I will actually kill you.

Tyler's dialogue has always resonated with me during this scene, because we haven't seen Wednesday gone back to the coffee since episode 1. Which actually means she went back, but we viewers we just don't haven't seen it done. It happened off screen. So they also probably had scenes that we didn't see. I mention this because antis sometimes like to say that there wasn't enough of a scene between these two for Tyler to say they both seemed to like each other, except in fact, they actually spent more time together than what we saw on screen. In a series, there are always off-screen things happening. And Tyler and Wednesday clearly saw each other off-screen in / between episode 2 and 3. Enough for her to have a very specific habit in her commands. Because yes, to have a habit in a coffee, you obviously have to go there several times.
Also... Something tells me she hasn't had to pay often.
