SIGN-UP FOR PROMPT 531: ALCOHOL

SIGN-UP FOR PROMPT 531: ALCOHOL

SIGN-UP FOR PROMPT 531: ALCOHOL

This week's prompt is: ALCOHOL.

Welcome to Full Moon Ficlet, the weekly prompt community for Teen Wolf!

In order to sign-up, just reblog this post or fill out this form and get writing a fic or ficlet that is inspired by this week's prompt. There are just a few rules:

Be inspired by the prompt of the week!

Reblog the original prompt post to sign-up for the week in order to be included in the masterlist or fill out the form above. Do this by Tuesday morning at 10 am Eastern time!

Your creation must be a part of the Teen Wolf fandom. Crossovers and fusions are welcome as long as TW is the primary focus.

Starting 07/03/2022, RPF will no longer be allowed as part of the challenge.

To be considered a ficlet, your story should be at least 200 words minimum and a maximum of 1499 words.

To be considered a fic, your story should be at least 1500 words minimum, and there is no maximum!

Art is art, and we love it! We will not be reblogging art, only a link, so please just make sure we know to mark the link NSFW if it is.

New chapters from a WIP or series are welcome, but please post your story or chapter in its entirety! Posting a chapter or story that is incomplete just makes readers sad. Choose the closest proper category (fic or ficlet) when you submit your completed work for the masterlist.

You can post your fic(let) or art ANYWHERE. If you post on AO3, please feel free to add it to the collection for this week's prompt (FMF_531).

Use the submission form to tell us about your fic by Saturday, April 08, 2023, by 10 am Eastern time in order to have it included on the masterlist.

There is no limit on the number of people who can sign up! Every prompt is a new week and a new event; you only sign up for one week at a time. There is no consequence for pledging to write and being unable to submit a fic that week. We understand that life interferes!

Now go have fun and create new fanworks for Teen Wolf! Art, fic, ficlets; everything is welcome. Enjoy, and get creative!

I have no idea how to feel this crushes my soul

If you take a young man and woman and they both tell a stranger that they work in the same restaurant, it’s very likely that they will assume that the woman is the waitress, and the young man a cook.

But I thought a woman’s place was in the kitchen? Not when she’s being paid for it. I can’t believe it took me this long to realize the implication of this. A woman’s place is one of servitude.

A Stiles Rare Pair Valentine Event!

A Stiles Rare Pair Valentine Event!

Consider this working like a theme week. No pressure, no minimums, no maximums, and no restriction on what counts... just create and share on 2/14.

For this, we're going with any Stiles pairing under 1k on AO3. As of now, that means no Sterek, Steter, Stydia, Sciles, Stackson, and Steo. I probably won't check again later, so assume anything not on the list is fair game

If people want a collection, one of us can host it.

The rules:

It's a Stiles ship event so he should be in the main pairing.

The ship must have under 1k on ao3 (The ship doesn't need to be shown on the photo.)

Post on 2/14.

It's darkly amusing to me that some people thought my mom didn't "discipline" me enough as a kid, were not shy about making sure both she AND I knew it, and now as an adult I'm one of the only people in my friend group who still wants anything to do with their parents. The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

When I was a kid, I broke a ceramic soap dispenser. I burst into tears and was terrified that I was going to be in trouble. My mom told me that it was okay, because accidents happen sometimes, and the important thing was that I didn't do it on purpose and apologized.

When someone else I know was a kid, they broke a dish on accident and got screamed at and guilt tripped. To this day, they have to push down a panic attack at the sound of broken glass, and have had to actively work on healing from that trauma. They will always have to carry that.

I think maybe it's not MY mom who fucked up in the "how to discipline your child" department. Quite frankly, I think the idea of "disciplining children" is fucked up and deeply harmful on a fundamental level.

When a kid does something wrong, you have to teach them how to fix it and do better. Humans are messy and complicated and we don't know everything there is to know just by being born. Children are learning how to be human beings, and that's a really hard thing to learn.

Kids question and fight back against authority that mistreats them, but someone treating them like a human being with human emotions is usually going to have a lot of success. Kids just want to be respected, and it's our job as adults to give them that basic human dignity. The world is utterly terrifying, and made scarier when all the grown-ups seem to hate you and wish you would just shut up and go away, even the ones that claim they want you around.

Kids can be mean, because they're still learning how to socialize and communicate and collaborate. Sometimes you have to give them time to cool off, and sometimes you have to redirect them. Sometimes you have to be firm. Sometimes you have to be an adult, and hone your conflict de-escalation and resolution skills. None of that requires punishment.

And if a child does something truly cruel and fucked up and shitty, and it hurts someone in a big way? My first question isn't "what should their punishment be," my first question is always, "who taught this kid that, and is this child in active danger from them?"

This is a poem I just wrote, let me know what you think please.

Society teaches us what it's like to 'be a man' How to be 'a women' Thinks there isn't anything different That's why so many young people commit suicide I'd say boys and girls, but there is more than that I'm not foolish enough to think otherwise Though society teaches us at a young age that there is only that Nothing different from those two boxes they try to fit us all in They're wrong There is a spectrum, nothing is set in stone There is no right or wrong when it comes to who you are Don't let society tell you what it means to be anything Don't try to be anything other than yourself There is a strength in you that you don't know Asking for help is not weakness There is nothing wrong with letting someone else take care of you for awhile Strength is continuing on even when you think there is nothing else Strength is reaching out for help Strength is knowledge Knowledge is power Power is whatever you feel it is Nothing will change the strength inside of you Nothing will take that away from you It can't be forced out of yourself That strength is always there waiting for you to let it out Sometimes you need someone to help bring it out of you There is a strength in that itself Reaching out is one of the strongest things you can ever do Never let society or anyone tell you anything different Not even yourself Don't think giving up is stronger than asking for help Don't think asking for help isn't man enough Don't think asking for help makes you weak in any sense of the world There is a fire inside each and every one of you You just have to let it burn Don't let anyone tell you that your fire is wrong That you don't deserve that fire That your fire isn't yours to control That your shade of fire isn't yours That your fire is any less yours after someone tries to take it away from you Don't you ever let anyone tell you who you are Don't you dare listen to anyone who calls you weak You're all so much stronger than you know You're still here You're hearing or reading these words You're still burning strong That right there is strength Strength is beauty And you all are the most beautiful people Don't forget that And please never let anyone tell you anything different. You're all beautiful amazing strong people Don't let someone take that away from you It's not something that they can take away from you Only you can So don't listen to them Don't believe them Just keep burning That is true strength.

Another Of My Pairings For @stacksonreversebang

another of my pairings for @stacksonreversebang

Sinnabon-cosplay was wonderful enough to claim my art pair for this one and write an amazing fic

Here is the wonderful fic!

Canon-Typical Violence, Spark Stiles Stilinski, Good Pack Alpha Scott McCall (Teen Wolf), Good Pack Alpha Derek Hale, I just want them both to have alpha rights okay, Stackson - Freeform, Hurt/Comfort, First Time, First Kiss, Mutual Pining, Angst with a Happy Ending, Kidnapping, Hunters Being Assholes (Teen Wolf), Peter Hale is Jackson Whittemore's Parent, Getting Together, Anal Fingering, Anal Sex, Magical Stiles Stilinski

Summary:

When Jackson gets taken by hunters as a ploy to lure out Beacon Hills resident alphas, the pack turns to Stiles to find him. He knows it's bad when he uses a locater spell and all he can feel in his connection with Jackson is pain. The hunters make the mistake of egging on one very angry spark and an equally angry Peter when they arrive. Confessions are had and kisses are shared.

Or,

Jackson's kidnapped. Stiles isn't a fan of his favorite wolf being taken. They both have a lot of feelings about it when Jackson is recovering.
