So, if you get bit by something venomous, the best thing to do is call poison control while you are en route to the hospital, and they can actually contact the ER doctor and give guidance on the appropriate treatments, dosage of antivenin, etc AND let you know where the nearest hospital or zoo that has a stock of the correct antivenin is.
