Not me reading an old My Hero Academia fic I wrote in 2020 and realizing that I wrote an extremely similar fic for Call of Duty in 2022.
Damn. Am I unoriginal, or do I just have a type?
Hello! This is đŚ annon here!
I have made this request before for another writer but I wanted to see different visions on this.
Imagine a witch reader that has a connection with nature and uses it to help the Kos while not caring about keeping her nature a secret. In the meanwhile, senku notices this but tries to get a logic explaining every time because for him there is no damn way witches existed all the time and no one really notices. So one day while Perseus is almost finished, reader asks to borrow the ship for just one night, and when Ryusui asks why, reader just says: "oh, I want to make a protection spell so your journey won't be hard in the sea!". Senku hears that and ALMOST says it's illogical, but this idea pop in his mind that he just waits until the night and follows reader to the ship, trying to figure out this magic witch thing. Just to get completely shocked when he saw the true nature of a witch in her action, the power that floats around reader while she cast the protection spell on the Perseus.
Don't know how to flow after that, it's up to you! Hope you have a great day!
Hello shrimp anon!
This fits so well with my horror/fantasy AU because magic would totally be more effective in the stone world
Old spirits and creatures from folklore he could accept. This was the stone world after all. Once humans were no longer an issue, anything that had been hiding from them was sure to start coming back around.Â
But magic? That was harder to believe.
Physical beings could be studied. If they were intelligent, they could be interviewed. But magic was little more than a concept. Something that was just science mixing with superstition. There was no evidence that it was-or ever had been-real. But it made you happy to believe that you could do it, so he just let it go.
âRyusui!â Senkuâs head turns at the sound of your voice. It was getting late, everyone needed to get some sleep so that tomorrow could go smoother. He watches from where he was sitting a short distance away as you walk with a little extra pep in your step right up to the captain of the Perseus.Â
He doesnât hear whatâs said between the two of you, but whatever it is has Ryusuiâs eyebrows rising, one of his big, slow grins spreading over his face.Â
âOf course!â Ryusui yells. âI want it!â You laugh, your head nodding in agreement. Then you turn, and walk off.Â
âWhat was that all about?â Senku asks as he approaches the other man.
âTheyâre going to put a magical barrier on the ship!â Ryusui says. âIâm not totally sure I believe in all that, but when weâre on the open sea, weâre going to need all the help we can get. Am I wrong?âÂ
âNo, youâre not wrong,â Senku says. It was just something you were doing to make yourself feel better about the long journey ahead, and nothing more.Â
Wishing Ryusui a good night, Senku wanders the direction youâd gone off in. If you were going to mess around the ship in the middle of the night, you should at least have someone nearby in case something happened. Besides, he would be lying if he said he wasnât at least a little bit curious. Heâd never actually seen you cast your spells before, so he wondered just what went into something like this- whether it was real or not.Â
He trails after you quietly, and you either donât notice him or donât care, as you never once look back or try to speak to him. Maybe you were mentally preparing yourself, reciting your spell in your head so you didnât stumble over it. You could be making a list of things you had to do, or what you needed in order to accomplish whatever it was you were planning.Â
He appreciated your meticulous nature.Â
When you reach the Perseus, you sigh out a soft âokay!â and start up the ramp, hands digging through the little bag you always kept on your hip for your âspellworkâ. He follows you up onto the deck, and finally speaks up.
âSo, whatâs the plan here?â He asks, watching you stoop down to draw something on the wood with a piece of chalk.Â
âProtection spells are usually really easy for me, but this one has to be big, so Iâve gotta make sure I do it right,â You say, not fully answering his question.
âAnything I can do to help?â He may not be a believer, but you two were on the same team. He had no issue helping set up candles or tying herbs together for you.Â
âUm,â You pause, standing back to your full height and putting your hands on your hips. âActually, yes. Can you come hold something for me real fast?âÂ
âSure, alright,â He says, following where you point him to. Once in position, you pull that something out of your bag. The one thing you donât let anyone look at too closely.Â
Your spellbook is heavier than heâd expected, and he nearly drops it when you dump it in his hands to hold for you while you open and flip through it quickly. It takes everything he has not to stare at the pages of formulas and try to work them out.Â
Magic sure looked a lot like math in several places. But you turn the pages too quickly for him to gather much information. He makes a mental note to try to convince you to let him see it again another day.Â
âOh- this one!â You stop at a page within the first quarter of the book. Smoothing your hands over the page, your eyes dart across the stone age paper, muttering under your breath as you read your own scrawled notes. Once satisfied, you take the book from him, slapping it shut and shoving it back into your bag.Â
So, it was more of a reference book than anything else. Interesting.Â
âOkay, so,â You take a breath, stepping into the middle of your lines of chalk. âThis should be super fast.âÂ
âAnything I need to do?â He asks. You shake your head.Â
âYou can just stand there and watch.âÂ
Fair enough, he supposed. Though, it wasnât like anything was going to happ-
You close your eyes and inhale a long, slow breath. The air around the two of you changes, the breeze whipping around you and tugging at clothes and hair. It wasnât anything crazy, but it was enough to get his attention.Â
His heart beats hard in his chest. Even though there were no bright flashing lights or words spoken, he could feel the shift in the world around him. The way the wind swirled around you, how the water calmed to near perfect stillness, and how the trees seemed to stretch their branches towards you, reaching for you as if to give you their power.Â
When you exhale and open your eyes, heâs not even sure heâs looking at you anymore. Your gaze held something in it heâd never seen in another human being. Hell, even the spirits heâd been having to shoo away from everything for the past few years didnât look like that.Â
His mind races, trying to find a reason for everything. Maybe the weather was having a sudden turn, or maybe he was exhausted. Maybe heâs even inhaled something and is massively hallucinating.Â
But something in him, something deep in his blood and under his bones, told him that it wasnât that simple. That what he was looking at had no logical explanation. That magic had no logical explanation.Â
Heâs still reeling from the experience when you put a hand on his shoulder, startling him.Â
âHey, you okay?â You ask, worried.Â
âWhat justâŚâ He doesnât know what to say, or what to do. A smile creeps onto your face, slow and knowing. You pat him on the shoulder before reaching to take one of his hands and start pulling him along with you back off the ship.
He looks back over his shoulder, eyes catching sight of the lines of chalk youâd just been standing in. He watches as they fade into little sparkles of dim light, each speck sinking into the Perseus and strengthening it.Â
âWe arenât going to make sure it worked?â He finally manages to ask once his feet hit the dirt.Â
âIt worked,â You say with a soft hum.Â
âHow do you know?â
âI just do.â
Slow dancing with xeno-

Absolutely I can
Stanley x Senku's Older Sister
This was harder than it had any right to be
Warning: Manga Spoilers Ahead
It had been an accident, you hadnât meant to fall in love with him. But spending 100 days being dragged around with him as he chased your brother and his team to South America did something to you. It forced you to understand him, to learn who he was and who he had the potential to be in the future. You looked past all his sharp edges and rough words and found something worth holding onto.Â
You spent night after night talking to him, somehow going from sitting far away, to being right at his side with his arm snaked around your waist and your head on his shoulder.Â
You told him about your and Senkuâs parents deaths, about living with Byakuya, and what it was like being constantly compared to your little brother by others. And in turn, Stanley would talk about growing up with Xeno, making his devotion to the other man grow clearer and clearer.Â
Though, when you jokingly called their relationship romantic, Stanleyâs nose curled in a way that told you it really wasnât like that.Â
But as your relationship grew, so too did your fear of what happened when Stanley finally caught up with Senku. Heâd started this trek across the world determined to kill him for taking Xeno hostage, and yet the two of you had become close. You would have to pick a side, and though you knew that there was no way youâd abandon your little brother, leaving Stan behind was going to hurt.Â
You loved him, and you think maybe he loved you too. At least a little bit, anyway.Â
He almost kisses you the night before the world is petrified for a second time, and itâs the only thing you can think about while trapped in stone for the next several years.Â
You remember how his fingers had felt, warm and rough with callouses from years in the military. How heâd caressed your face in a moment of pure quiet between the two of you, before tilting your chin up so that you were forced to look him in the eye. The heat in his gaze had made your heart jump into your throat. His other arm had curled around your middle, pulling you into his chest and holding you there for what felt like an eternity, but as you both leaned in, youâd been interrupted and forced apart with a promise of next time.Â
Except next time didnât come. Not for a long while.Â
Stanley doesnât get freed from the stone like the rest of you do. He instead just gets thrown onto a ship and stored away where only a few knew where he was, you being one of them.Â
You find time to visit his statue every day after working on the rocket, talking to yourself about what was going on as if he were listening, and keeping him tidy. He owed you a kiss, and Senku an apology at the very least after all.Â
-
âIâm sorry, weâre freeing who?âÂ
The whole group is shocked at the announcement. Not only was Ryusui giving up on going to the moon, but heâd offered his spot to Stanley of all people.Â
âIt makes logical sense,â Xeno says, Senku nodding along with him. âStanley is the world's greatest marksman, and heâs an experienced combat professional. He will no doubt be a great asset on the moon.âÂ
âBut he tried to kill all of us!â Chrome says, and even you have to agree. Stanley may have shoved you out of the way that day, saving you but heâd been hellbent on gunning everyone else down. Just because you loved him, that didnât mean he wasnât still dangerous.Â
âWe are no longer on different sides. Stanley is a soldier who will follow all orders given to him to perfection,â Xeno says.Â
âI suppose we could call this atonement,â Kohaku muses. âFor everything heâs done so far.âÂ
Your heart is hammering hard in your chest. They were going to wake him up, and not only that, they were sending him on the most dangerous mission ever concocted. You couldnât figure out whether you were excited to see him, or devastated that you may never lay eyes on him again in your lifetime.
Your startled from your thoughts at the sound of your name.Â
âAre you coming, my dear?â Xeno asks, head tilting slightly.Â
âYeah, sure,â You say, hoping you sound nonchalant. You had a feeling heâd caught on to your affection for his right hand man a long time ago, and the way he smiles slightly at your response buries that idea even further into your head.Â
You follow slightly behind everyone else while you get your thoughts on the matter in total order. Xeno seemed to know, or at least suspect, that you and Stanley had formed something, but was he the only one? Or had you been way more obvious than you thought you were? It wasnât a big surprise that Senku hadnât questioned it, assuming he also figured it out. Heâd always stayed out of your relationships, claiming that they never mattered to him in the slightest.Â
It feels a little strange to have so many people in the cave with you, but you figure the numbers arenât a bad thing. If Stanley wakes up and chooses violence before hearing anyone out, the more people there to stop him, the better.Â
Heâs changed out of the vines that had been hurriedly thrown on him so long ago now and into a new outfit made for him by Yuzuriha, and you watch with bated breath as Xeno pours the revival fluid over him.Â
The waiting is the worst part. Sure, the revival fluid so far had a 100% guarantee to work, but what if this time it didnât? What if the stone stayed solid, instead of cracking and crumbling away? What if Stanley never breathed again, and youâve forever lost the chance to build something with someone you cared so deeply about?
But, as expected, the stone does crack and crumble, and Stanley does suck in a breath, letting it out slowly when Xeno offers him a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Few words are said between him and Xeno, even fewer between him and everyone else. Itâs only after Senku confirms Stanleyâs absolute skill that his eyes drift past the two scientists and land on you. His gaze flits across your form, a tiny smirk growing at the corner of his mouth.Â
âHello beautiful,â Stanley finally speaks to you after what feels like an eternity, his words sending heat to your cheeks.
âHi,â You say back softly. Senku lets out a soft ugh, and makes quick tracks for the cave entrance.Â
âYou two do whatever this is in here, weâre going back,â He says. Chrome and Tsukasa hesitate before following Senku, and Xeno is the last to leave. He pats your shoulder as he walks by, offering you a small nod before he, too, vanishes from the cave.Â
The two of you stand in silence, the only noise being the waterfall and the distant sounds of birds beyond the watery doorway. You watch Stanley take a couple more drags of his cigarette before dropping and snuffing it under his boot.Â
âYou gonna come over here, or are you gonna make me come to you?â He asks, and itâs like a switch finally flips in your brain.Â
You jolt forward, running the handful of steps it takes to reach him and slam into his chest. He doesnât stumble back, doesnât even seem to budge at all when you do, his form firm and steady. You wrap your arms around him, inhaling a long breath, letting the stench of his freshly put out cigarette fill your nose. You feel his chuckle more than you hear it, the sound vibrating in his chest as he holds you in return.
âI missed you,â You whisper. Stanley lets out a low hum in response.Â
Your heart falls into your stomach when he pulls away from you, but he doesnât allow you to sink into despair. Both his hands rise to cup your face, his clawed gloves cool against your heated skin. His eyes have the same heat as the night he nearly kissed you.
âMissed you too,â He says softly.Â
You start to respond, but he doesnât give you the chance. He dips his head and presses his lips against yours. He kisses you like heâs been starving for it, like it was all heâd been able to think about for all that time he spent petrified a second time, and it leaves you totally breathless and feeling a bit drunk.Â
âTh-this doesnât make up for shooting my little brother,â You blurt out without thinking. It makes him laugh. Not chuckle, not hum, laugh.Â
âThatâs fair,â He says.Â
âCan you do it again?âÂ
âGladly.â

Beginning Nights now on AO3
Dabi x Reader MDNI
Enjoy the preview:
God this sucks. You were cold, wet, and miserable, but as your gaze catches another lonely soul making his own march in the rain, youâre at least glad youâre not the only one. All you can see is the back of him, but he gives you something new to look at.Â
Heâs tall, even with his shoulders hunched, head dipped down to keep the rain from falling off the hood covering his hair and getting all in his face. His coat looked tattered, but serviceable, and there was no way in hell his socks werenât as wet as yours were, even with the thick boots he wore. Something about him stirs your heart, even if you canât see his face, or any of his features. You wonder if itâs just your own want to not be alone anymore today that has you speeding up a little, hoping to catch the only other figure walking the rainy streets.Â
As you get closer, a part of you warns that this person could be a villain. That he could hurt or kill you for getting too close to him. But another part of you just doesnât care. After the day youâve had, death would just be a welcome change. At least then youâd get to either go to the afterlife, or start over fresh, rather than be stuck in misery. Besides, even villains have shitty days, and maybe youâll get lucky and he wonât mind you bothering him for a few minutes.Â
His eyes are on you the moment you finally catch up to him, sharp blue irises somehow both icy and burning all at once. You donât say anything, trying instead to look as casual as possible, instead of like a crazy person whoâd just chased him down just for a modicum of company. But the longer youâre silent, the harder it gets to even try to speak up. Especially now that you can actually sort of see him, and the recognition that settles in your gut has your tongue too heavy to move.Â
All you really needed to see was the flash of metal and the scarring on his jaw to know who he was. Youâd seen him all over the news for weeks, the image of his wild and wicked face had been burned into your memory by now. But for such a notorious villain, Dabi seemedâŚ
Tired.
The temptation I feel to throw just a full profile of, like, four different ocs that could fit in nearly any universe at all of you just for the hell of it is real right now
