But what if one day they all go to a party, black out, and in the morning realize none of them is the ghost king. And the investigation begins. Eventually they figure out who left the party with the title, and what stupid game caused it. Ofc the person no longer have it (it isn't common knowledge among humans how the crown is passed, or they didn't even know they had it), so it turns into a full quest of following breadcrumbs all over the school/college/city.

Danny gives up at some point, bc he doesn't even care for the crown that much. He is dragged along by his friends, and only gets invested again once it turns the crown is/is about to get into possesion of someone who really shouldn't have it (in Dannys opinion - maybe box ghost? Or Vlad? Or Dash?)

The title of ghost king can only be passed through combat. I’ve seen fic prompts and art where defeating Danny in board games or video games or like a stupid bet count as trial by combat.

I’m proposing a crack fic where Danny and all of his friends are constantly trading places as The Ghost King, at first on accident, but then intentionally as they all find increasingly stupid ways to one-up each other.

OK! so first official post on this hell sight we all love. I have absolutely no idea on how to structure a post, or wright out my thoughts soooo good luck. So for the last three days this thought has been stuck in my head, like non-stop genuinely will not let me sleep kind of stuck. The thought is this. Is Nocturn the death of the first dream to ever dreamed? because of so he should be so much more than he is in the show. If he was the first Dream to end then what was he of? Personally I think it was of stars. I think people have been staring up at that endless sky, dreaming, Wondering of the worlds beyond ours since people possessed the ability to see. So why wouldn't the first dream be of the stars? Is Undergrowth the Ghost of the first plant to die, or the collective of all plant's that have ever wilted and withered away. If so then he should be so much more than he is, If he is the first green thing to die, the first green thing to wither and decay. if so that should mean something more than it does. Is Vortex the end of the first storm to ever be? a single, incandescent point erupting into existence, a cosmic dawn that unleashed a symphony of light and sound. Raging and untameable. If so he should be so much more than he is. Is Clockwork the death of time or is he the death of the first second to ever be? he is the relentless rhythm of time, I know that he Is/Was/Will Be. the steady tick-tock that fades into silence. The hands that stand still, no longer charting a course through the hours, days, and years. centuries, millennia's and Eternity. Or is he is that first, Vast, burning second. single point of light. Before the dawn of stars, before the flow of time, only the promise of creation, a potential yet to be. Danny briefly considers putting up that one tapestry with a huge genealogical tree and claiming its his to explain his many dead relatives.

He starts to think of alternative, less direct way of getting rid of stuff after a local occult comes to one of the garage sales. He doesn't think much about them at first, and simply treats them like any other customers. His sales usually attract some odd crowd and he isn't one to judge.

Well, a few days later they give him the same gothic lampshade he just sold them.

He can't sell it again. He isn't going to risk his secret identity getting exposed via a garage sale, and all the awkwardness that would come with such encounter.

He decides to gift it to Sam - he thinks it is something she or one of her goth friends might like. They end up talking about it and danny starts to pass some more antigue knickknacks for her to sell. It snowballs from there.

As a current college student I refuse to believe Danny as Ghost King doesn’t answer summons. As soon as people start summoning him he starts demanding home cooked meals and fat wads of unmarked cash.

That they started off summoning him with the blood of virgins was a bit distasteful, but once he told them to knock it off (threatened to take whatever harm they do to innocents out on their skin, tenfold) they seemed to get the message and started giving him offering of home decor and kitchen appliances instead.

All things being equal, they don’t even ask for much in return. For most of them, just the confirmation that he exists and is “”watching out“” for them is enough. Although lately he’s started giving his cultists random junk (a nice rock he found, a handful of marbles, a piece of scrap metal from his parents lab) and telling them they’re sacred artifacts of great power, as a joke.

At some point Cujo would end up in Danny's school bag by accident and go to casper high with him. Shenanigans ensue as the trio tries to cover his presence from classmates and teachers. Imagine Valerie found out.

Valerie: So, It's your dog? But it's also Phantom's dog?

Danny: *sweating* We have shared custody?

You know what really sucks? I think Danny should have kept Cujo! It would have been so cool to see the trio fighting alongside Cujo to defeat ghosts! 

If only Danny had been a patient... he could have trained Cujo to become a hunting dog. Cujo would have been useful if trained for blood (ectoplasm) tracking: to help the trio find ghosts, to bark as an alert , and is also capable of attacking or restraining.

Also it would have been so cute and heartwarming to see the trio and cujo to have their moments!!!

lol, I can totally picture Sam taking Cujo for a joy ride to Starbucks. Sam picks up her pumpkin spice latte while Cujo enjoys his pup cup. They go hiking and engage in other fun activities together.

Meanwhile, Cujo assists Tucker in retrieving tools as he works on a new ghost invention. Of course, Cujo also manages to create a mess and annoy Tucker—it's all in good fun!

And let’s not forget Danny, who, as Cujo’s owner, diligently takes care of him by walking, feeding, training, and so on. Their bond is loving and loyal
