in all seriousness though james blatantly avoiding telling people as long as possible is so sad and i want to die
bi weekly reminder that all of cassie's main characters are teenagers so maybe give them some grace for their shitty choices and don't expect adult level shit from people who's brains aren't even fully developed
"weiner! it's a weiner!" "i assure you it's not" i love you todoroki
my clary fairchild brainrot makes me want to see paladin clary after tlh
I WAS FUCKING RIGHT
my money is firmly on christopher dying in this book (DO NOT SPOIL ME) but i'm so very scared for matthew.
he's just spiraling and spiraling and i'm so scared he'll have a bad ending.
i used to separate them distinctly in my mind but this reread is making me kind of unable to do that..
i gotta clarify first that i think sebastian needs to be punished for what he did. i don't think any of what i'm about to say absolves him of anything he's done.
that being said, i think sebastian was so tragically doomed by the narrative that he never had a choice but to make the choices he did. he never had a chance to be anything else because of valentine and jocelyn (although jocelyn to a far lesser extent than valentine). every step of his existence from conception to death is stripped of agency. every choice he makes is done in the shadows of valentine stripping away his humanity and mercilessly abusing him until he's a perfect weapon. and then the bastard has the nerve to be ashamed of what he created.
i just wish sebastian had gotten a fucking chance to be anything other than jocelyn's shame and valentine's weapon.
sebastian morgenstern is actually the best villain ever because he makes me a devastating combination of sad and angry
god that alley scene in cofa is so....
will and jem invented soulmateism
oathbound and ragpicker king are both coming out next week and i will be reading them back to back. i will be tagging any and all related content on with spoiler tags but do be aware that i will probably be exclusively posting about this for a while and avoid me as necessary if you're concerned about spoilers.
nah sorry cordelia has been losing me for a while and like....
this is SO different and so much worse than the aline scene in cog.
like you are a a married woman. even if it is fake, there's a level of respect that banging his fucking parabatai absolutely betrays. you're supposedly so in love with him and know him so well yet you fully intended on, i repeat, fucking his parabatai.
i'm trying so hard to stay on the cordelia train and she is not making it easy. i keep telling myself she's fully under the impression he loves grace but it's still so hard ðŸ˜
all these mentions about nick dying.... i have a prediction forming
23all oathbound & ragpicker king spoilers will be marked
