Really interesting that in a Buzzfeed article of TFATWS, Anthony Mackie wasn’t in the image they used to advertise it. Or mentioned in the caption. Despite the fact that he’s, you know, supposed to be the literal protagonist.
@nathanwpyle
I literally love this.
I couldn't stop laughing for 20 minutes.
No joke.

Got stung by a wasp (6 times) while tearing apart our old barn and I tied scrap fabric around my arm where it got stung and honestly? Feel like a hot video game avatar.
I. HATE. IN-TEXT. CITATIONS.
Not just when I'm writing a paper, but when I'm READING a textbook it looks SO messy (Rick-Astley, 1969, p. 420) and it's SO distracting, (Morbius, 2022) and SO disruptive (Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, & Rudolph, 1964.) to my reading and (Bird, Grouch, Monster, & Monster, 1997 ) learning process. And why are some of them SO FUCKING (According, 2007; To & All, 1991; Known, Laws, & Of, 2378; Aviation, 57 B.C.E.) LONG???
In this house we stan Declan Lynch, an upper middle class white guy, who, when in a museum, started explaining something to the bisexual woman of colour, and immediately banked to “Do you know this already? Don’t let me bore you if you do.”
Good egg.
gd. richard gansey iii is literally Such a deeply bizarre dude. this short WASP kid from a wealthy and respected political family really just said nope to all of that and decided to be a 15 year old hitchhiker bum in europe entirely alone from all of his family and spend his teenage years hyperfixating on an obscure piece of welsh history because he resurrected from the dead and he thinks that the dead king from celtic mythology saved his life. he comes to aglionby like, yes i am likeable and perfectly normal, i am neurotypical, i am a generic richboy who is excellent at social cues and societal norms, you will all love me, my near-obsessive hyperfixation with an obscure mythical ruler due to severe ptsd and a near-death experience (about which i claim i did in fact die, and came back to life) is super normal, it is so unremarkable and normal of me to think that said long-dead king actually didn’t die at all but he came to a tiny little town in southern virginia to go to sleep for a couple hundred years and this is absolute fact in my mind, i am the posterboy for WASP politics men when they are teenagers. like what do they all think of him.
Modern dead poets society except Meeks and Cameron compete every school year to see who can get the better grades
the craziest part abt the choice was between death or hurting adam which wasn't much of a choice at all quote is that it wasn't an "only one survives" situation. ronan wouldn't even be dying for adam or instead of adam. he is choosing DEATH over HURTING him. adam's life isn't at stake here, he is only potentially in danger of temporary(!!!) pain if ronan acts in self defense and that is enough for ronan to willingly sacrifice his entire life without an ounce of fight. usually when you think about dying for someone you love it's in terms of dying in their place, jumping in front of the blow and giving your life so that theirs can continue. but ronan, for adam who has already been hurt so much, would die for him before he ever became the one to raise a hand against him, to allow him to ever be hurt any further. not him for me. death for pain. that is an equal exchange to ronan so simple he doesn't even consider the alternative once. this fucking scene dude WHO ELSE has ever been in love like that EVER
you can always start over. you can always catch up. you can still be who you dream of being. it’s not too late for you.
