I was tired at class that day and this came out also on my DA account
I don't want to feel alone on this one
but who's been a nightmare before christmas fan since the 90's ?
Yeah I'm a fan of a movie since I was 5 years old (1999)
And before I felt alone to be the only one in my french town to know it actually existed (and loved it).
But now I feel alone because the fandom has grew (I still view it possitivally don't worry ^^) but I can't seem to connect with the artistic and movie fans.
Maybe I should quit it, because I feel like a drop in the ocean which is this fandom since it has grew from zero to hero, before it was easy, it was what made me, well me! But I can’t just give up on my all time favorite childhood movie! especially the one where I dare to defy my parents otherprotection by watching it over and over non stop while they were like “Stop watching it! You’ll have nightmares!”.
And oh! For some, the tears trigger in a disney licence were or bambi’s mom or mufasa’s deaths (or both) , to me both of them got a stupid “meh!” from my young simple minded 5 years old self, to me it was when an army guy blow up jack in the sky and when the werewolf howled while sheding a tear that got my breaking point (and I wouldn’t stop crying until Jack got back up with his confidence).
But I can’t seems to connect with no one of the fandom with that because online I don’t know what curse is upon me, or in the street and I see someone nearby in the fandom and we cross eyes, they don’t stop by to talk a little (even a tiny bit about it) (of course street talk is the most of the stranger danger happening in all the minds I understand that don’t worry^^) but ...... it seems that I can’t have a connection with the fandom. I like the lone wolf (if not the grizabella) of the fandom. So I kinda felt a tiny weedy bit pissed to not have connection with the large growing fandom, I’m like an unknown veteran, the “thanks for giving me your fan love but now I’m popular, bye!” rejected.
It’s sad............
Oh god. The internet is just TEEMING with scumbags, isn’t it??? Anyways lads, if any of you just so happen to use Amazon, please be aware of a seller on the site known as Abdo Bouga. He’s been making bootleg colouring books of Cuphead, Sonic, Curious George, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bratz, Angry Birds and Wrestling/Sports stars. While he hasn’t sold any of those books yet, it’s important that you all report him as he stole art from artists such as @kirby-popstar, @TheWallop-Cat12 (on dA), @brightgoat and @dovelydraws. You can clearly tell that they are fake as they often use the same backgrounds in some of them.
Here’s the bastard’s listing containing these bootleg colouring books: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?i=stripbooks&rh=p_27%3Aabdo+bouga&s=relevancerank&page=6&qid=1608324844&text=abdo+bouga&ref=sr_pg_6 Also, here’s the thread I’ve made on Twitter talking about it: https://twitter.com/NobleClover/status/1339910425304031233 Please feel free to spread this message around and report him. I know that this is one incident but I’m friends with TheWallop-Cat12 and she’s been targeted by art thieves on two other occasions this year. So that’s why I ask you to report him and contact Amazon Customer Service.
Plant diversity is important, and human diversity is too! 🌱 I’m glad we’re all different, and I hope all those differences are accepted and celebrated.
