Finally finished my half of the older Frisk/Monster Kid art with @evrgloww. It’s not much, but the project has been helping me get back into the swing of doing digital art (and art in general). I ended up drawing up half a dozen draft sketches before settling on something that looked good, but wouldn’t break the art side of my brain.
I’m also pretty sure their version of MK is much taller than how I just drew them.
[Image Description: Drawing of a brown jumping spider from the front. End of Image Description.]
Been practicing drawing jumping spiders. I still have quite a ways to go in drawing one of my favorite animals, but I’m still pretty proud of how this quick little drawing turned out.
Murderbot in graphic tops (and a ponytail). I like to think it got a few extra clothes while on Preservation, most of them gifts from its humans.
I’ll let y’all decide what all the As stand for.
Boyfriend and girlfriend Camry and Flora snuggling.
Artfight attack for @food-with-ghastly-rice of their punk satyr Kinsin. Had fun coming up with the outfit.
[Image Description: Cartoony drawing of a brown humanoid furry character. This character has the head of a rabbit, tail of a lion, and feet of a horse. He is wearing a long-sleeve blue shirt, a blue plaid button up, black skirt, and silver earring. End of Description]
An old drawing of Matonne wearing an outfit that I actually own, minus the earring. I took a thermal from a Walmart, an oversized button up (that was also the first item from the men’s section I ever owned), and a skirt I wear as a tube dress. Makes me feel particularly genderpunk.
If you were to pay an artist $300 to design a custom character for you, what would you expect the end product to be like? What kind of design, style, and other features would you expect to get for how much you spent?
Additionally, if you were pay an artist $1000 for a custom character, what would you expect for that price then?
[Image Description: Drawing of a sitting cat with curly, grey fur. Above the cat is a drawing of their face from the front. Below the cat is the word “Graystripe”. End of Description.]
Took me a while to fully figure out Graystripe’s design. Originally, I was going to give the rex coat to Firestar’s family, but then in terms of personality, I feel curly fur better fits the comedian of the OG apprentices.
Since, DeviantArt is just as terrible of an art market as ever, I’m putting these guys up for sale here as well.

[Image Description: Drawing of the Pokémon Granbull. Granbull is resembles a purple bulldog with a thick, grey collar and long, protruding lower canine teeth. End of Description.]
Damn, how long has it been since I last posted? Well, neither here nor there. Wasn’t quite proud of this drawing when I started it months ago, but thanks to the internet’s motivational words of “better finished than perfect,” I’ve cleaned this up and finally posted it. Not the best, but a fun exercise in reinterpreting another one of my favorite pokemon, Granbull.
Some friendly fire revenge of CherriLyme’s meerkat. Picked him cause I used to be obsessed with meerkats as a preteen. I finished the main drawing yesterday, but noticed earlier today that they had added that they’d like to see Thomas drawn being clumsy, and it honestly worked out in my favor cause I am not the best at drawing characters interacting with furniture and he’s a bit unbalanced in the main drawing.
